''Well Well Well...I figured I'd run up against these guys sooner or later." he said, smirking.

He turned his laptop  off....

He poured a bottle of Tequilla into his coffee...

He sipped it down and smiled..

He'd been working here in the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office for three years.... He'd won 75 cases and lost only two...He had  managed to avoid a showdown with "Auntie and Niecey" as Olivia and Beverly were called.. but now he would be facing them....

He read that they were acting as consultants and that the lead attorney was Jason Brown..a former Public Defender with a record of 183 acquittals and 25 losses...He had been pretty busy...He was now working in the private sector and Lead Attorney for Roma Venison..

Lt. Tragg walked in...

He smiled upon seeing the half drank bottle of Tequilla on the desk..

''A little early for that eh counselor?" he laughed.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!  Good Morning Lieutenant...Hey listen....I need you to go back to the crime scene...See if you can find somebody, anybody who heard and or saw something...If you can't it's okay.... I got her... She lied about where she was that night and about her daughter being here...I'm gonna go hard on that...but it would be nice if we had a little extra, you know what I mean?" said ADA Ken Jendell.

''Sure thing.This guy you're facing, he's a lightweight....You can take him easily." said Lt. Tragg....He liked Ken Jendell.. He was his kind of guy....He still didn't know we were involved with the case... He was still thinking about Jason Brown... He hadn't heard that we were involved in the case yet...I couldn't wait to see his face when he did learn...

Olivia, Beverly, Nelson, Josie and Bresha sat in a tony coffee shop this morning.

''Ummmm this is good coffee." said Olivia..

"Yes it is...We are all ready for trial on Monday Auntay!...."said Beverly...sipping her coffee

''Good...Good.. We have a dynamite defense strategy drawn up...We should win this easily..." said Olivia.

"Donnie Ray and Jason contacted me by text... They're visiting with Attorney Ronald Howard as we speak and he has said that he and Roma were meeting that night.Looks like she told the truth the second time." said Nelson..

He too was sipping his coffee.

"I looked at their financial statements... Her husband had declared Chapter 7 Bankruptcy just a few weeks before he died..They were broke...So she was telling the truth... He had a 25 million life insurance policy out on his wife and one on his daughter and they had one on him..."said Josie.

"Ummmm this is good coffee." she said.

"She stands to gain a lot at his death.. It gives her motive...We've got to work around that." said Bresha.

She too was enjoying her coffee...

Milton Lewis, a Private Investigator friend of Donnie Ray's met them there at the coffee shop..

He ordered an Expresso as he sat down with them...

''Hey folks..Donnie Ray told me to look into Robert Venison's  internet life, Social Media, Downloads , etc.. I did and I found this. Check it out...It's a dark web account." he said.

"The Dark Web?" asked Beverly..

''Scary stuff!"said Bresha.

"This simple little case just went down a scary little alley." said Olivia.

"Josie you got your laptop?" asked Nelson...

"Yeah..." she said.

"Set it up...let's look into this." said Nelson.

II-

THE OFFICE OF ATTORNEY RONALD HOWARD-

"Gentlemen , Gentlemen come in." said Attorney Ronald Howard..

"I'm Donnie Ray Alexander , I'm an Investigator for the Attorneys representing Mrs. Roma Venizon." I said.

"And I'm the Lead Attorney for Mrs. Venison." said Jason Brown..

"Mr. Alexander... I'm quite aware of your wife and her team..." he said.. 

 

"I mean who hasn't seen you guys on Television or in the newspapers after you've won a landmark case??" he said, smiling.

"I know why you're here..... Yes...Roma was with me that night....She didn't want it to get out that she was seeing a divorce lawyer...with her being a magnet for the tabloids and all...." he said.

"We had dinner at this restaurant....Stockton's....Here is my credit card receipt...We had a nice dinner and some drinks.. It was a business dinner...We discussed the terms of the divorce and what if anything she could stand to get from it...  Mr. Venison was broke at the time of  his untimely and unfortunate death...She was hoping to leverage the sale of their mansion in Chestnut Hill...This is what we talked about..  I put her in an Uber around 11:30 pm and sent her home.. That was the last that I had seen of her." he said.

He was telling the truth....Jason and I had been to Stocktons and had seen film footage of the two of them there that night eating...We had talked to the staff..who remembered them being there and We had talked to the Uber driver that had let her off at 11:59..... Just about eight minutes after Mr. Venison had been shot down...My guess was , she had just missed the killer!

I peered at Attorney Howard's desk... He had downloaded information on us... Like any good lawyer... He had done his homework.. His laptop showed it!

He had the book on all of us!

He had no doubt been talking to Roma and she had told him who her defense attorneys were. he checked us out. Which made me suspect they were more than just Divorce Lawyer and client.

"Thank You Mr. Howard...We've taken up enough of your time.." I said.. "Come on Jason." I said.

"Thank You sir." said Jason...

'No problem...No problem..we are all on the same team...Team Roma." he said with a smile as we left.

After we left..... Attorney Ronald Howard traveled to the Hotel where Roma was staying...

She opened the door...A smile broke out on her face.

Roma answered the door...

''Ronnie, you came!" she said with a big smile..

"Two of them stopped by....Olivia's husband and your lead attorney, Jason...Everything is cleared up...They know we were at Stockton's and they got in touch with your Uber Driver and they know when you were dropped off....I told you ,you should have just told them the truth in the first place."said Ronnie Howard...

"You didn't...You didn't tell them about us did you?" she asked..

"I stopped short of that...We are just Attorney and Client...or were....Your husband's dead now...You have no more need of my services.." said Ronald Howard...

"I need other services you provide!~" she said, laughing sheepishly...

"Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm and I'm only too glad to provide them baby!" he moaned..in between hot smouldering kisses....

"Ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu take me..." she whispered...

"With pleasure...ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu" he moaned..

She had been wearing a skimpy little mini dress, which he hastily helped her out of....He dropped his trousers and took his shirt, tie and suit jacket off.....

He slipped her panties down......

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU BABYYYYYY!" he moaned...

"OH MY GODDD , YOU ARE HUGE!!!!!!....OUUUUUUUUUUUU! LOOK AT YOUUUUUUUU MY GOODNESS!!!" she cooed.

She eased herself down on him on the side of the bed...

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH  MY GODDDDD RONALD....UMMMMMMM YOU ARE A BIG BOYYY, WOUUUUUUUUUU...OH MY GOD IT'S SO BIG....UMMMMM AND SO HARD!" she cried out....

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ROMA!" he cried out loudly...

She saddled him and rode him slowly and smoothly like a surfer riding the waves..... He was nearly delerious....not knowing if he was coming or going...

He flipped her over and entered her missionary style...

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! AWWWWWWWWWWW LAWWWD! ROMA!" he cried out..

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!! RONNIE....OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU" she cried out..

and they made love the next EIGHT TO NINE HOURS.....

III-

Jason and I returned home...

It had been a successful afternoon..

We found Olivia and the rest in the conference room..

''She hasn't answered the phone....I told her to keep a low profile..."said Olivia.

"I imagine it might get lonely and boring sitting in that hotel room all day, day in, day out...Maybe she went somewhere...like for a drink... NO ID BAR isn't far from there you know." said Beverly.

"Or she has company....if you know what I mean and I know you do." said Nelson...

"That's a thought.." said Josie, snickering...

"Hey Donnie Ray, Jason." said Bresha.

"Hey Everybody...Well this time her story checks out....Her divorce attorney, Ronald Howard confirmed that they were at Stockton's that afternoon...Jason and I stopped by there and it was confirmed...People remember them there and we saw film footage from that afternoon...plus he had his receipts from the dinner they had that night." I said.

''We talked to the Uber Driver who said he dropped her off at her house at 11:58...11:59 pm just minutes before her husband was killed.. by some miracle..she missed running into her husband's killer." said Jason.

"The Autopsy puts the time of death between 11: 45 and midnight...which kinda clears her...She couldn't been en route and killing him at the same time." said Beverly...

"I don't know why she lied in the first place.."said Bresha..

"Unless there is moreto this,  than just an Attorney/Client relationship between these two and that is what she was trying to keep out of the tabloids."said Olivia..

''Donnie Ray....Milton Lewis was by here...He discovered something on the Dark Web....you should see this."said Nelson..

Robert Venison was going on these websites during the last month of his life, these dark websites and he found this man...Johnny Barrett...probably not his real name...who was offering his services as a hit man..

He paid him 25K as you see here....and we think the target was him....He paid a hitman to murder him!!!....That way, his wife and daughter would get that 25 million dollar payout and be able to live comfortably....." said Nelson.

"This totally absolves our client of any wrong doing...but if it comes out that Robert Venison paid for his own murder....The Insurance Company will see that as a suicide ." said Jason Brown..

"That is correct and they won't pay her or her daughter a red cent...." said Olivia.

"Which means we won't get paid either." said Josie.

'' I uh did think of that......Which means we have to talk to her...

She's still not answering her phone...but I've left a message for her to call me...We need to meet with her face to face." said Olivia..

''Wonder what she could be doing?" asked Beverly..

The answer was in Roma's hotel room where her bed was getting a real workout..

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...UMMMMMMMMMMM RONNIE BABY!" she screamed out..

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU..GIRLLLL...GIRRRRRRRRRRRLLLLLLL!" he moaned..

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!OH MY GOD!!!" she cried out...

"UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMPHHH!" he moaned...

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH  MY GODDDDD RONALD....UMMMMMMM YOU ARE HUNG LIKE A HORSE!!!!, WOUUUUUUUUUU...OH MY GOD IT'S SO BIG....UMMMMM AND SO HARD!" she cried out....

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ROMA! UMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!" he cried out loudly...

"OH MY GOD!!!! I'M LOSING MY MIND!!! OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!" she cried out as the bed squeaked up a storm and the headboard slammed against the wall...

"I don't know who she's got in there with her, but he's been in there for hours...."said one of the cleaning ladies to another one..

"I aint hardly goin in there...not right now...."Uh uh...them two is busy.. Dude is puttin in work..." said the other cleaning lady, smiling...

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!OH MY GOD!!!" she cried out...

"UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMPHHH!" he moaned...

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH  MY GODDDDD RONALD....UMMMMMMM YOU ARE A BIG BOYYY, WOUUUUUUUUUU...OH MY GOD IT'S SO BIG....UMMMMM AND SO HARD!" she cried out....

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ROMA! MOREEEE...MOREEEE!! MORRRRRE!" he cried out loudly...

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!OH MY GOD!!!" she cried out...

came the sounds from the room!!!!

Both women looked at each other and snickered....putting their hands over their mouths...

IV-

The next day we met with Roma at her hotel room...

It was a beautiful room....

"This must be important...You all calling a meeting with the trial just three days away.." she said.

Jason whipped out his laptop..

"We've got good news  Roma....besides verifying your alibi...We've got great news...We know who killed your husband." said Jason..

 

"Yes... a professional hitman named..Johnny Barrett!" said Olivia.

 

"That's probably an alias...but we checked your husband's internet activity, all of it.. all of the sites he visited and we found this dark website..." I said ,pointing to the site on the website..

"We have proof from a credit card record and a record on here that two weeks ago, your husband hired a hitman, this Johnny Barrett fella to murder him...He did it so you and your daughter would get that 25 million dollar life insurance policy..." said Beverly...

"It's all he had left to give you...That and the sale of the house...I'm guessing he felt some remorse about how he gambled away the family fortunes...He suspected you might be seeking a divorce....This was the only way he could make it right in his mind." explained Nelson..

"This absolves you of any wrongding....This can get your charges dropped." said a jubilant Josie....

"NO!  I DON'T WANT THIS TO COME OUT IN COURT!! NONE OF THIS, ABOUT HIM HIRING A HIT MAN!" said Roma...

''What? You've got to be kidding...this let's you off the hook.."said Bresha.

"It also paints his death as a suicide....and if that happens...The Insurance  Company will not pay my daughter and I the 25 million..." said Roma.

"Roma don't be foolish, you'll go to prison, possibly for the rest of your life if we should lose...."pleaded Jason...

"You're all very talented Attorneys...Find another way...This conversation is under attorney/client priveledge....I don't want any of this to leave this room or be mentioned in a courtroom.." said Roma..

 

This left the seven of us standing in the middle of her hotel room at a complete loss for words!
