"Welllll will you look at this.. Your lawyers have arrived...I thought you guys would be too tired from partying and  sleeping it off last night after Curleys.."laughed Lt. Tragg.

 

"We are still working attorneys." Yvette said. She looked at Serena.

"Here you look like you could use this." said Yvette.  "I'm Yvette Jones-Lockwood...I'm a Defense Attorney..These are my associate attorneys." said Yvette.

 Yvette tossed Serena a bottle of cold water...

"Oh God Bless you....Thank You...Thank You so much." said Serena , who drank the bottle down almost in one gulp..

"Serena...These are attorneys from my firm....McCluskey/Cozen/Connor and Pratt...They are going to assist me...This is Keith Jones...His wife, Beatrice Evans-Jones, Sofia Garcia-Ahmed and Kahlil Ahmed and their investigator, Jade Lee Ho..."said Miles.

"Hi pleased to meet you." I said.

"Hello." said Bee Be.

"Hola Mami." said Sofia.

"Hello." said Kahlil.

"Hello." said Jade.

"Hello...I'm Yvette Jones -Lockwood . Do you plan to charge her Lieutenant?" asked Yvette..

"Not yet, but don't plan on leaving town anytime soon missy...We still have some questions for you.  She can go." said Lt. Tragg..

This was a surprise..He usually would charge someone on the spot...but considering his last two cases..perhaps he was being careful this time.

We took her to, Where else, SAM MOTHERS DINER!

It just happened, Yvette's husband, Gary was there with Jade's husband, Danny Ho... 

 "Gary!  How nice seeing you here... We just come from Central Booking..."said Ms. Yvette.

"Well you're getting a head start on it...I wonder if Lt. Tragg is as up on this as you are?" asked her husband, Lt. Danny Ho.

''Well at least Jade made some pre-emptive strikes."said Jetty.

"Her estranged , soon to be exhusband was at Josie's with friends that night and he has several witnesses. He claims to know nothing about it.Nor care." said Jade.

"Good Work Jade...Bee Bee, Sofia...Monday, get a list of charactor witnesses for me and Keith, Kahlil..

look up a Night Court Judge and get some possible hearing times set up just in case..."said Yvette.

"On It!" said Bee Bee/

"We've done a lot lately, The Beach, Rooftop Party, Weekend Retreat, the Party Boat...What's next?" asked Bresha.

"We are going to Bayside , shopping and Roller Skating...I think Miles and his lady are supposed to join us." said Tony....

"That's next weekend Tony....I think this Saturday, everybody is just chilling and maybe hanging out at Josie's that night." said Alfreda.

"That's cool with me..."said Rockland, who didn't feel like doing anything tomorrow. 

"Tomorrow after Breakfast, you and I can just chill at the apartment."laughed Lee.

 

"That's great.....We've been on the move so much lately..."laughed Matthew. 

"It's supposed to rain tomorrow....I'm glad we don't have any activity planned."said Jazzy, cuddling up in her husband's arms...

He watched as we all took seats near each other and got in line and made plates for ourselves.

 "This was nice running into them here.."said Yvette.

"Yes it is...Lt. Tragg didn't ruin the girl's weekend at least." said her husband, Gary.

"I just know the other shoe is going to drop soon." I said.

"Well if and when it does...We are already ready..."said Bee Bee.

"We can spring into action..."said Sofia.

"Yup...Now let's spring into Breakfast..."said Kahlil.

"I'm with Kahlil."laughed Jade.

"Yeah me too!"said Danny Ho.

"It's overcast, but it hasn't started raining yet." said Virginia.

"True."said Jetty.

"Ouuuuuuuuuuu this food is sooo good...I was so hungry after all that drinking last night." said Lee.

"Me too!  Remember before we met them we used to go to Sam Mothers on Saturday Morning?" said Matthew. 

"We all did, even after we got together until we discovered this great bar, right across the street from where we all work." said Jazzy.
 

"And we worked here a couple of years before we discovered it."said Dabnis.

"We thought it was a hipster joint.. A Bohemian Bar." said Kayla.

"Well it is.!.It's just real cool." said Ray.

"I used to pass by this place... I never dreamed of going in until I started working in our building and all of you guys started coming here." said Jessica.

"Natalie and Brooke used to come here when they worked with us in the Public Defender's Office, but even they didn't know about the Saturday Morning Brunch." said Chip.

"I don't think they always did that....I recall coming here a few times myself before I worked in the Bridge Building, just to get away from everybody downtown.."said Karen.

"And now you have and you've got new friends to associate with."said her husband, B.L.

"Me and Brookie loved this place..."said Natalie.

"I used to wonder where you guys hung out at on weekend nights."said her husband, David.

"We didn't come here every weekend...but it was a great place to have girl talk and privacy and cold brews."laughed Brooke.

"I remember you and I came here once...You introduced me to Natalie." said Sean....

"So this was you guys best kept secret huh?" laughed Zoey, who had never been here before she started working in the Bridge Building.

"A Nice Secret to be kept."laughed  Lem.

"Bruce Greene brought me here once." said Renee.

"And he asked you to pay for your drinks didn't he?" laughed her husband, Tyrell.

''Well not that time."said Renee,laughing.

"He is something...Take you out to dinner and then ask you to pay the drink bill...He's some kind of weird." said Nina.

"Indeed."laughed her boyfriend, Carlos.

"Yeah, so was I.and not to mention all that great sex last night." said Donnie Ray.

"This place here isn't even open on Sunday." said Rockland.

Serena Stevens had been arrested and formally charged with Second Degree Murder on Sunday Night...

She had been picked up in front of her apartment...when she returned to pack some more clothes.

Lt. Tragg and his men were waiting for her...They had staked out her apartment...

"Look Serena...We've got you cold...You were the only person at the scene....And this guy is laying on the ground  dead.....Oh and he wasn't killed by your SUV.....He was hit was a bat or a blunt object...Then that dent was put in your SUV...Pretty Slick....He was murdered and you made it look like he was hit by your SUV...Sloppily Brilliant." said Lt. Tragg..

"I don't know what you're talking about.....I-I didn't do those things." said Serena...

"Don't say another word Serena...We are here." said Miles.

 

 "That's right we are here...Say no more." said Yvette.

"Sit tight..We'll get you arraigned and get you out as soon as we can." I said.

"Don't talk to anybody...Not the Cops, Not the Guards and Certainly not anybody locked up with you." whispered Bee Bee in her ear.

"Everybody locked up with you is looking to make a deal...So trust only us."said Sofia.

"Sit tight...We are going to get you out of here." said Kahlil.

"You're charging her and they haven't even got the results of her urinalysis yet." said Jade.

"HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT?" asked Lt. Tragg.

"It's my business to know."said Jade.

"I'm gonna have a talk with your husband about his pillow talking." said Lt. Tragg,.

"Her husband has nothing to do with our investigation of this case." said Yvette.

"I suppose you need this room." said Lt. Tragg.

"No we are leaving...Stay strong Serena...We'll be back." said Yvette as we all filed out..

Serena looked confused and bewildered as she watched us leave...

"Alright Boys, take her upstairs.."said Lt. Tragg..
