PHILADELPHIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT- Wednesday Morning...
 

Years Ago, Young Assistant District Attorney, Nina Rios did a favor for Enterprising young millionaire entreprenuer, Rollie Rollerson...and like Olivia Bennett, a young Public Defender...He never forgot either woman....

When Olivia and her niece started their law practice, He became a client and was put on retainer, helping them out from time to time...He had already rented a Motor Lodge for them to have a weekend retreat a few months ago.

When Nina told him she was getting married...He saw a way to repay her for her years ago favor..He offered her and her husband to be a paid Wedding in Cancun and he paid for her wedding guests as well at a resort of which he was on the Board of Directors.

We all sat in the airport with our bags packed, awaiting our plane.. 

"Wow, what a summer this is....We are going to Cancun...Ouuuuuuuuuuuuu weeeeeeeeee!" gushed Jazzy.
 

"The best part is that this is free...Our Hotel accomodations and our round trip airport tickets..."said her husband, Dabnis..

"Nina and my cousin are sooo lucky to have befriended Rollie early when he was just starting out...He's been a good friend." said Kayla.

"Yes he has...I hope I make a good friend like that before my legal career is over."laughed her husband, Ray.

"I wish he had been my friend when we were getting married."laughed Jessica.

"I know right?"laughed her husband, Chip..

"Our plane should be arriving shortly." said Karen.

"I'm glad I was able to take off."said her husband, B.L.

"WOW, THURSDAY AND FRIDAY...THE WEDDING IS SATURDAY MORNING AND WE LEAVE SUNDAY AFTERNOON...THIS WEEKEND IS GOING TO BE EPIC!" gushed Natalie.

"WOWWW!  WE SPENT OUR HONEYMOON HERE! I NEVER IMAGINED COMING BACK SO SOON AFTERWORDS." said David.

"CANCUN...I'VE NEVER BEEN BEFORE!" said Brooke.

"Me Neither...This is going to be nice." said her husband, Sean.

"I've been, but it's nice coming back here and not having to empty our bank accounts huh Husband?/" said Zoey.

"Yes indeed."laughed her husband, Lem....They had had their honeymoon in Cancun with no friends present.

"WOW....THIS IS NICE....TWO WHOLE DAYS BEFORE THE WEDDING!" said RENEE.

"I'M LOVING IT....YOU NERVOUS NINA?  WHERE IS CARLOS?" asked TYRELL.

"I'm a little nervous...I'm so happy you all can come and be my witnesses... Carlos is coming down tomorrow... I haven't seen him all week." said Nina.

"That is customary Nina....The groom isn't supposed to see the bride for a week before the wedding."said Lee Phillips.

"This is going to be so cool."said her boyfriend, Matthew Akes. 

"Rollie has really outdone himself...Cancun...I can't imagine it... I love this."said Olivia.

 

"I for one am here for it." I said.

" Rollie is a sweetheart, when I saw our tickets in the mail, I couldn't believe it...I thought it was a joke."said Beverly.

" I knew it wasn't...And here we are...At the Airport..." laughed Nelson.

"I wished Rollie had paid for our dresses."laughed Josie.

"He paid for our round trip airfare and our hotel rooms...He can't pay for everything."said her husband ,Paris.

"I know...I'm just kidding."laughed Josie.

"Nothing nicer than a Summer Wedding..."said Bresha.

"And near the beach as well..." said her husband, Tony...

"This is going to be sooooo nice..."said Alfreda.

"Indeed!" said her husband, Rockland. 

 "I'm so glad we finished that Flowers case and was able to get off to go on this." said Yvette.

"I'm glad too...This is going to be remembered as an Epic Summer."said her husband, Gary.

"WOW! Last time we were here was our honeymoon."said Keith Jones.

"I know. It was just us.Tee Hee." said his wife, Beatrice "Bee Bee" Evans-Jones.

"Last time we were here was our honeymoon too!'said Sofia.

"Yeah that was cool..."laughed her husband, Kahlil...

"CANCUN...I'VE NEVER BEEN HERE...I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS." said Jade.

"Me too!  I was able to get these days off...This was nice."said Danny Ho, her husband.

"I am so glad I am able to experience this." said Virginia.

''So am I...I was here before...but I'm happier being here with you." said Jetty..

"AWWWWWWWW!" said Virginia.

"They just called our plane number."said Kayla.

"Here we go." said Olivia...

Unfortunately, we were scattered about on the plane...Not seated together as we usually were..but we didn't care..

We were on our way to CANCUN....

Cancun was beautiful.....The view from the plane as we ascended was awesome...

The Beaches even more so.... None of us could wait to get settled into our hotel....

Our Hotel was right on the water...

It was beautiful!!!!

WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY

Naturally once we got settled into our rooms, everybody hit the beach....All of the women had bought new beach wear...Bikinis galore to the satisfaction of all of us men... and everybody,including Jetty got into the water...

After a day at the beach we were treated to a gourmet meal in the hotel's restaurant.....

THURSDAY NIGHT-

And dancing at one of the many clubs in the hotel....

"This is a blast." I said... I was having the time of my life....

I couldn't take my eyes off of Olivia ,who was wearing a tight plaid mini skirt that was accentuating every curve and her beautiful legs...

"This is the best...We are partying and we don't have to go to bed and get up to go to work in the morning."said Beverly.

"We can sleep in late....Mannnnnnn this is a vacation."said Nelson.

"Yes indeed.....This is almost as good as when we go to the Beach House."said Josie.

"We don't have to man any grills or help prepare any food...This is better."said her husband,Paris.

"This has been an epic Summer, That Retreat, The Beach, The Rooftop Parties and now this....an expense paid vacation in Cancun....Ouuuuuuuu.."said Bresha.

"I'm here for it."laughed her husband, Tony...

"The Food here was off the chain."said Alfreda.

"It's Delicious." said Rockland.

"Garrrrrrrry stop staring at my breasts." cooed Yvette.

"I can't help it....you're just so damn hot...I told you that." said her husband, Gary..

"Yes you always tell me that....I'm flattered..."said Yvette, smiling from ear to ear.

"This is the best time I've had all summer..and I've had a lot of fun this summer." said Bee Bee.

""This DJ is great, we ought to talk to him about coming to Philly and playing at Josie's.."joked Sofia.

"Yeah wouldn't that be something...?"laughed her husband, Kahlil.

Jade was dipping chips in a Mexican dip that she just loved.

"This is delicious." she said.

"I see you're enjoying that dip."said her husband, Danny.

"This is sooo nice and it feels so good...That cool breeze..."said Virginia.

"Damnnn girl, you are so hot..."said Jetty,laughing and just staring at her....

The parties raged on....We were all line dancing..

Natalie and David were kissing...

"Ummmmmmmm I have never kissed a guy so much in my life...Let's do a little dancing...Cool your hot  self off..." laughed Natalie.

Brooke laughed.....

"I think David would kill himself if Natalie ever left him...He loves her so much." said Brooke.

Renee and her husband were kissing passionately..

The drinks flowed....It was a non-stop party and the best part...No one had to go to bed and get up to go to work in the morning...

The partying continued.

"MINE TOO!...COME ON BEVERLY..."said Rockland, taking a surprised Beverly out to the dance floor..

"Come on Baby, let's show him how mama and daughter work.."said Alfreda, joining them....

It was like old times when they used to take over a dance floor, back when they were just friends...

We were all having a great time.....

Renee was correct that night- Bedsprings were squeaking in all twenty some rooms we were staying in...

"Heyyyy Sleepy heads, make a plate....and take a seat."laughed Ms. Yvette, smiling. 

"I wondered where you were when I woke up."said Gary.

"Look at all this food...Ummmmmmmmm."said Keith Jones.

"I'm good and hungry since last night." said Bee Bee.

"So am I."said Bee Bee.

"Me too!" said Kahlil.

"Oh this is perfect, look at this spread." said Jade.

"Yes...wowwww this puts both No I.D. Bar and Josie's to shame..." said Danny.

"Well let's take advantage of it...I'm starving." said Virginia.

"Where is Carlos?" asked Jetty.

"He and the Minister are coming in today...." said Olivia. 

 

"Shame he missed all the fun we were having the past two days." I said.

"I know right? But he'll have his fun in abundance in 24 hours."said Beverly...

"He sure will."said Nelson, fixing him and Beverly plates...

"This is quite a spread."said Josie..

"Damn sure is...Wowwwwww!" said Paris.

"These are the best days of our lives."said Bresha.

"Yes it is...."said Tony.

Alfreda made plates for her and Rockland.....

"Yeah, I wondered where you were." said B.L.

"It was a beautiful morning...I couldn't sleep...I walked out on the terrace and Olivia, Vettie, Zoey and Nina were already out there ...So we had some Mimosas and some girl talk in the quiet of the morning...We knew you guys would be coming down eventually..." said Karen.

"Ummmmmmmmmmm the smell of all of this good food wafted under my door.."said Natalie.

"Yeah, it woke me up too and made me realize how hungry I am."said her husband, David.

"What a nice spread."said Brooke...

"This is as big as No I.D. bar and Josie's.."said Sean.

"Somebody else said that."laughed Zoey....

"Well whatever....I'm enjoying it." said Lem as he loaded his plate.

"Everything is soooooo good!" said Renee.

"Yes indeed." said her husband, Tyrell.

"Enjoy everybody!" said Nina, smiling and looking at all of our friends.

SATURDAY- THE WEDDING!

Nina and Carlos were getting married.

Nina Rios was a beautiful bride , dressed in a beautiful white flowing gown...made just for the summer.

Lee was her maid of honor...

Rollie Rollerson surprised us... He came down late Friday Night.

He had the honor of walking Nina down the aisle and giving her away.

His wife, who none of us had seen in a long while was with us...

The Wedding was outside and private, attended only by our group, although spectators could see the nuptials from outside..

They had gotten their licenses in Pennsylvania and had actually been married by a Justice of the Peace.

This second wedding was officiated by the Assistant Pastor of our Church.

"WOW! NINA LOOKS GORGEOUS!" said Keith Jones.

"DOESN'T SHE THOUGH?" gushed his wife, Beatrice, holding his shoulder...

"I'm so happy for Nina, she's wanted to be married for a long time." said Sofia.

"Well, she's finally there." said Kahlil.

"This is a gorgeous ceremony.....So Beautiful...Look at Nina."said Ms. Yvette, with a few tears in her eyes.

"This is a beautiful ceremony.."laughed her husband, Gary.

"This is so beautiful..."said Jade.

"I'm just glad to have the time off to be here." said her husband, Danny Ho..

"I'm so glad to be here....I wouldn't have wanted to miss her wedding and a trip to Cancun." said Virginia.

"Yeah... Me too! This is nice." said her husband, Jetty.

"I love this....I love this for Nina." said Olivia.

"Nothing like a wedding." I said.

"Seems Like we have been going to weddings every year since you and I got hitched." said Beverly...

"Our love is contagious baby.."said Nelson...

"Yeah it must be....Like Dominos....All of us got married."said Josie.

"I wonder if they'll be moving into a house." said Bresha...

''Not just yet from what Carlos told me."said Tony.

"Well hopefully if they do move,It'll still be close to us.."said Alfreda.

"There are a few houses near us for sale."said Rockland, who had worked closely with Nina when she was an Assistant District Attorney...

Carlos looked handsome and cool in his suit as he appeared...

Matthew Akes was Carlos's best man...

Her husband, Sean was busy chowing down on Wedding Cake and drinking Champaigne..

Newlyweds, Nina and Carlos Diaz walked into Curleys... We hadn't seen them in a week. They had stayed in CANCUN after we had left...Enjoying their Honeymoon.... 

 "OUUUUUUUUUU THEY'RE BACK....CONGRATULATIONS ALL." said Yvette...

We all stood and clapped and cheered...

"WELCOME BACK YALL!" said Gary..

"CONGRATULATIONS GUYS!" said Keith Jones...

"WELCOME BACK YALL!" said Bee Bee...

"CONGRATULATIONS NINA, CARLOS! "said Sofia.

"WELCOME BACK YALL!" said Kahlil...

"I'm SO HAPPY FOR YOU TWO!" said Jade.

"WELCOME BACK GUYS!"said Danny Ho.

"WELCOME HOME GUYS!" said Virginia.

"HOW WAS IT?" said Jetty...

"It was beautiful...Wonderful..." gushed Nina.

"It was the Best!" exclaimed Carlos.

"Oh How Nice...Nina got married last week... I heard it was a destination wedding and all of her friends over there went, stayed at the same hotel."gushed Kelly Ann Mercer.

"That's where they all were last week...and why they weren't in here last Thursday...They were all in Cancun eh? They're makin too much money...."laughed Lt. Tragg, sitting with her.

Assistant District Attorney Bruce Green sat a few seats over...He overheard us talking to Nina and Carlos and mentioning that we'd all been to Cancun for her "Destination Wedding."

"When I'm District Attorney I'm going to break up that group of Karen, Natalie, Brooke and David...They'll still be my attorneys....I'm going to transfer them all to different supervisors and probably end that Wrongful Conviction./Conviction Integrity Unit...Hmmmmph.." he grunted...

Needless to say ...Despite his jealous grumbling....He couldn't take away from the happiness we all felt tonight.
