"Hmmm, all from the same law school and all working at the same firm." mused ADA Sean Holmes, looking over the dossiers on all of us, the attorneys he'd be facing in court.

At this very moment...

In our suite at the Bridge Building-

In our conference room.... Bee Bee, Sofia and Alexa were busy doing the necessary research needed for the case... They were looking at Witness Statements, The Crime Scene Report, The Autopsy Report and studying predicates pertaining to this type of case, laws pertaining to this type of case and looking at likely verdicts for a Capital Case such as this.

"This is drudgery, but I was always good at looking things up."said Bee Bee.

"Yes she was..Especially in High School and later college. We studied together and we helped each other out..."said Sofia.

"You guys had a tight line when you pledged didn't you?" asked Alexa.

"There were three of us...."said Sofia.

"Our other line sister went on to be a Doctor..."said Bee Bee..

"WOWWWW! Two Attorneys and one Doctor...A very successful line..I've lost track of my line sister...It was two of us." said Alexa.

"This girl was not only one month pregnant...but she had had sex shortly before she died..."said Sofia.

"They could tell all of that after she'd been submerged in the water all that time?" asked Alexa.

"Yeah, according to the Medical Examiner's report." said Sofia.

"We need DNA....Holden's and Haley's Sugar Daddy." said Bee Bee.

A Room away in the media room....Kahlil and I were picking possible jurors..

"We need working class white males.."said Kahlil.

"They don't have to be white , some can be Black, even Latino...but they should be working class, twenty or thirty somethings...People that can understand his lifestyle...

''We are not going to get an entire jury like that....Half of the people we want don't even vote, aren't on the voter rolls..."said Kahlil.

"Yeah I know, but let's see if we can get as close as we can.." I said.

A Normal day in the office

II-

Ms. Yvette and Ms. Jade took a visit back to our main building...The reason was... Alexa remembered the client that was being represented by one of our attorneys...

"Jade ,I'm glad Alexa finally remembered that case and that client..."said Ms. Yvette.

"Yes and from the rumor mill and scuttlebutt I've heard...This man was quite enamored with a pretty little Para-legal...Haley Barbera..."said Jill.

"And that's what we plan to get from the horses mouth.." said Yvette.

In one of our conference rooms , a spirited legal battle was going on...

Halsley Welch, a businessman , owner of Welch Construction and Supplies was being sued by one of the contractors who bought cement from his company... He said the cement was of poor quality and poorly mixed...thus causing a building his company constructed to collapse...

He was being represented by our attorney, Jillian Baranski, sister of ADA Diane "Hot Panties" Baranski,

She had once been an ADA, but now was satisfied working in the private sector as a Senior Associate Attorney at our firm.

Representing three companies that was suing him was Attorney Miranda Jackson, who we had met before.

As Jade and Ms. Yvette headed for the elevator they were stopped by Lt. Tragg.

"Well I'll be..I actually catch you at work on a day I'm not looking for you." said Lt. Tragg.

He still thought we worked in this building, after us being out of here for the past two almost three years now...

"Ohhh? And Who are you looking for?" asked Yvette...

"That little Attorney who is representing Holden Louden, the loser who killed that girl...I understand she worked here too! Alexis Pratt, I believe her name is." he said.

"Her name is Alexa Pratt...What Business Do you have with her?" asked Yvette.

"That's my business...What floor is she on?" he asked.

"You're the detective....YOU FIND HER!" said Jade..

"You know, I don't care that you're Danny's wife... I'm living for the day when I can snatch your license..."said Lt. Tragg..

"And I worry about that day, like I worry about whether the sun is coming up...."said Jade..

"Come on girl, let's go." laughed Yvette as they got on the elevator..

Yvette walked into the conference room and sat down quietly at the end of the table...

"These allegations are egregious and without merit.. You offer little to no proof of any of these claims..."said Jillian Baranski.

Halsley Welch stared at Yvette and Jade ...

He didn't know who they were or why they were here...

"I beg to differ...Yes, cheap or poor-quality cement—as well as the improper mixing, watering, and adulteration of concrete—has been a primary or contributing factor in numerous catastrophic building collapses in the city, all by companies that did business with you..While cement is just one ingredient in concrete, its failure to bind properly can drastically weaken a structure. Instances where poor cement or concrete played a major role include:"Tate Projects in West Philadelphia: The Cement in that Tate projects used to describe poorly constructed, corruptly built structures . Two buildings and  three schools collapsed during their construction because builders used your substandard cement, reduced the amount of steel, and cut corners to save money. 

Raw Sea Sand Use: In South Philly last Spring, and in Manyunk, some developers have used your company's cheap, raw, unprocessed sea sand in concrete. The high salt content caused the internal steel reinforcement to rust and corrode, destroying the concrete from within and severely compromising structural stability.

I plan to bring in some experts tomorrow, Chemists, who can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that your company sold cheap cement to a number of builders, whose projects collapsed." she said.

''Well I have an expert who will debunk your expert.. Structural collapses are rarely caused by the cement alone. Often, cheap materials are combined with poor workmanship, such as incorrectly proportioned concrete, bad formwork, or unauthorized structural changes"said Jillian.

"Game on. We will see." said Miranda.

"Yvette, did you want something?" asked Jillian.

"This has nothing to do with either of you..."said Yvette , who walked up to Halsley Welch.

"Mr. Welch, this is for you..." she said and passed him a subpoena...

He said nothing , but looked at her strangely...

"I'm Mrs. Yvette Jones-Lockwood...I'm one of the attorneys representing Holden Louden...This is a subpoena for you to appear as a Defense Witness in his case..." she said... She looked at Jillian..

"Jillian ,I'll explain later...I promise." she said.

"I'll call you." said Jillian.

"Hello Yvette." said Miranda...

"Hi Miranda!" said Yvette as she and Jade were leaving...

Halsley Welch gave Yvette and Jade a very evil stare...

That Night , we were all at home...

After we all got home from work that night...We were all settled down with our significant others.. What better way to spend a warm late Spring night than to be making love.?

Bee Bee was wearing another sheer see through Baby doll.....She had just taken a hot shower and walked into our bedroom..

My eyes popped out of my head..She had on a new bra and matching panties that I hadn't seen before.

They had made love early into the morning hours....

"LAWD!!" he mumbled as they made sweet love..for the next EIGHT TO NINE HOURS. He was deeply in love in a way he had never been before...Virginia loved that a man loved her this much....

Such a nice night! for some of us anyway.

A few blocks away , Alexa's doorbell rings...

Alexa came to the door..

"What are you doing here?" she asked.

"I was just out walking around...It's a nice warm night and I thought I would drop by...."said Holden.

"You just thought you'd stop by my apartment huh? You live halfway across the city.... " said Alexa.

''Everybody else I know is married..."laughed Holden.

" So.....you stop by my apartment halfway across the city  because I'm not married right?"asked Alexa.

"I was thinkin about you....Come on.....You hungry?  Want to go out for a Burger? A Slice of Pizza? There's an all night food court a few blocks from here.." said Holden...

"You stalkin me?  You know more about my neighborhood than I do.."laughed Alexa.

"You're lucky...I am kind of hungry....Let me get my purse." she said.

They walked a few blocks to Food Corner and ordered a Burger and two slices of Pizza.

"This is like our uh first date huh?" laughed Holden...

"Date?   I thought you were all in love with my para-legal, Haley?" asked Alexa.

"She's Dead...plus she never gave me any rhythm...Nothin...Did you know I took her to Gazspachos...??? Gazpachos, the trendiest Restaurant and Bar in town and I didn't even get a kiss at the front door." said Holden.

"That's because somebody beat you to it!   A Guy named Halsley Welch, a wealthy well heeled client of the Attorney I shared Haley with...He was old enough to be her father...He took an interest in her...and she took an interest in him....She was going to start law school in September....Middleton School of Law

Guess who paid for that? Halsley Welch...You never had a chance." said Alexa.

"WOW! Do I have a chance with you?.....I always thought you were sexy and cute" said Holden....

"I'm not Second banana to anyone.. Not even a dead girl Holden...That little kiss you gave me the other night in court was cute, but don't get any ideas....I'm not looking for anybody right now...."said Alexa...

Suddenly a huge crash was heard......Everybody ran out into the street...

A small building about a block away had collapsed....

"Oh My Godd!" said Holden...

"OH MY GOD!!!!They just put that building up a few weeks ago....Oh My God!" said Alexa...

An Hour later....

"We found a body"said a CSI Man..

"Poor Guy...It was his luck to be in this building when it collapsed..."  said another CSI man.

"Didn't they just put this building up last week?" asked the coroner, Dr. Marcy Martin..

"Yeah...they were just about finished...This cement was bad...weak..." said a CSI guy..

The Body of the poor man who died was put in a body bag and strapped to a gurney and rolled away to a van that would take it to the morgue...

"Damn ! His poor luck!" said Holden....

"Oh My God!" said Alexa...She was visibly upset....

Something about witnessing sudden death and tragedy brings people together...

Holden and Alexa wound up back at her apartment...

Kissing like it was going out of style....

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" he moaned as he kissed her..

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!" she cooed....

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" he cried out...

"UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!" she moaned.

Soon he was undressing her and she was letting him...

He unsnapped her bra.....He marveled at her breasts....He always had....

The Next morning , she drove to the Bridge Building where she had been working with us all week.

She settled down and had breakfast...

 "Well Good Morning young lady, all bright and early." said Yvette....

"Good Morning Alexa."I said.

"Heyyyy Soror." said Bee Bee, hugging Alexa.

"Morning Soror...."said Alexa.

"Morning Soror.." said Sofia...

"Heyyy Girl..."said Kahlil...

"Good Morning Alexa... There was a building collapse a few blocks from you last night."said Jade.

"I saw it...I uh got a little hungry and walked down to Food Corner last night and I heard the collapse as I was eating...It was terrible...They found a body...a man died in the collapse.."said Alexa.

"Jade ,look into that...Find out the construction company and who they bought supplies from...

This bad Cement may be the key to our case."said Yvette.

"I love the way your mind works Vettie Girl.."laughed Virginia.

"I sleep with a detective....I've picked up a few things over the years."laughed Yvette.

"Oh Ho ho ho ho ho ho ho....I like that Vettie."laughed Virginia's husband, Jetty. 

"Well Good Morning everybody...Another day....Kayla, Renee and I have a big negotiation today.."said Jazzy...
 

"Yeah so does, Ray, Tony and I..."said Dabnis.

"The Good News is...We are using the conference room here in this building..We don't have to go to court.." said Kayla.

"We don't either...Ours is tomorrow...Here." said Ray.

"Well we have to go to court...Maybe we'll see everyone at Lunch time..."said Jessica.

"It's a preliminary hearing...We'll be back by lunch..." said Chip...

"We are here today in the building.."said Karen...

"If you're lucky....You'll get a performance...Just walk by the Judges Chambers..."laughed Natalie..

"Oh wow....was that a performance..."said David.

"I'll say....That woman, whoever she was is a loud lover...That man should have brought something to stuff in her mouth."said Brooke.

Sean nearly spit his Orange Juice out laughing...

"Yeah well whoever they are, they'd better cool it before they get caught.."said Zoey...

"They can't get more than a strong reprimand for making love....assuming they are just attorneys.."said Lem.

"What if it's a Judge and an Attorney?" said Renee.

"Or two Judges?"laughed Tyrell.

"I told Bresha about it last night...She said she's never gonna do anything in the Judges Chambers."said Tony.

"Ahhhhhhh Me and Josie did it in there once...Just once after she first passed the bar."laughed Paris.

Lee looked guiltily at Matthew.. She and Matthew had done it in the Judges Chambers at least three times....They weren't going to do it again, she thought.

''Well we were both kind of uh upset...Seeing the building collapse and seeing them bring the body out..."said Alexa ,smiling sheepishly..

"Yeah, I uh understand...and you two uh comforted each other....Something about witnessing sudden death and tragedy brings people together..."I said.

"And it may cause panties to slip off and boxers to slip down.."said Bee Bee,laughing....

"Okay...enough...We are just joshing with you....That's your business...We still love you." said Sofia, who along with Bee Bee

 hugged Alexa..  "You're still our girl." she said and smiled.

"We slept together!!!!!....I shouldn't have...I didn't really want to...and I won't ever do that again...."said Alexa.

"Well wait until after the trial is over, then it won't matter.."said Bee Bee in all seriousness.

"Then it'll just be your business."said Sofia.
