 DAYBREAK- Ms. YVETTE AND GARY'S HOUSE-

"I always keep my promises." whispered Yvette to her husband Gary..

We lived a few doors from her and Gary and we like her took the train to work..

As we walked towards the corner.. We saw Paris, who was married to Josie Boyd, one of  Olivia's attorneys and now a Para-legal, working in our building... attending  law school  in an excelerated program at Middleton Law School.

"Ummm see you tonight baby." he said softly to his wife, Josie..

"Ummmmmmmmm have a good day.Good Luck in class." Josie said to him..They were walking hand in hand to the train station today.

He was kissing her passionately... 

"Heyyy Vettie, Guys...We are going down with you..." said Olivia, who was meeting us at court.

"Today we clear all of this hullabaloo up for good ." said Beverly.

"Yeah and Tanya can get on with her life." said Nelson.

"Yeah and Gregory can get on with his prosecution of Wade Flemmings.

Olivia and Beverly's Office /Duplex, where they both lived and worked with their husbands.Nelson and Donnie Ray. This morning, the four of them were outside, waving to us....They would be riding with us.

.. At the corner of our block... ADA Rockland Cambridge was kissing his  wife, Alfreda, Beverly's mother and Olivia's office manager.

"Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm." he moaned.

''Stop moaning like a moose.Ummmmmmm go on now before you miss the train." joked Alfreda....

He was riding the train with us today too!

Down the street from us, Another one of Olivia's Attorneys, Bresha Billips is kissing her husband, Attorney Tony Billips, who also worked with us in our building.

"Have a good day today baby."said Bresha, kissing him softly..

"Ummm see you tonight baby.Good Luck at that hearing today" he said softly to his wife

They both joined us on our almost daily walk to the train station, two blocks behind our blocks.

"HEYYYYYY NEIGHBORS!" said a smiling Virginia Shaw-Dukes....

"HEYYYYYYYYY GIRL, HAPPY TUESDAY!" said Ms. Yvette.

"Good Morning Ms. Virginia." I said.

"That's Mrs. Virginia now." said Bee Bee, smiling. Reminding me.

''That's right, good morning Mrs. Virginia."said Sofia.

"Good Morning Mrs. Virginia."said Kahlil.

"Good Morning Virginia." said Jade.

"Good Morning Ms. Virginia." said Jazzy.

"That's Mrs. Virginia now." said Dabnis, smiling.. "Good Morning." he said.

"Goood Morning.We know!"said Kayla.

"MORNING!" said Ray..."Mannnnnn we got some hot women on this block, including our wives." Ray whispered to Tony....laughing..

"Oh No doubt man....Good Morning Ms. Virginia." said Tony.

"Hola Mami!"said Jessica.

"Good Morning."said her husband, Chip.

"Goood Morning." said Paris.

"Wellll this ride just got more populated...Good Morning."said Rockland.

Tyrell and Renee were already at the train station when we all arrived..

"Whoa...Look at this..We got a full house this morning." said Tyrell..

"Good Morning Everybody." said Renee.

.The train took us all straight to our building where we worked...Only Rockland  got off before the rest of us did.  We all had been working in the same building for awhile now.

"Hola Ms. Yvette, Hi Olivia, Beverly..." said Attorney Jessica Sanchez-Burrows..

"Hey Ms. Yvette and crew. And Hello Olivia, Beverly, guys" said her husband, Attorney Charles "Chip" Burrows. The Innocence Project, who they worked for , moved into the Bridge Building at Penns Landing just days before Ms. Yvette and us moved into the same building..

"Hey everybody..." laughed Ms. Yvette.

"We thought you guys were going to drive in today." said Attorney Jasmine" Jazzy" Coley

"Man this train is comfortable and quiet...I love this...I don't even drive in when I have a court case.. I ride the train into Center City.That's what they're doing...That's smart." said Dabnis, rearing back..

"Yeah I guess it is.. They'll be there on time." laughed Attorney Kayla Bennett_St. Jacques..

"Yeah, no  traffic jams and such." said her husband, Ray.

Our New Friends and building mates, Natalie and David Charles and Brooke and Sean Marks were already on the train when we got on...They got on a station before all of us...

"Well Hello...It's Hearing  day." said Natalie..

"Hearing Day!." said David..

"Yes, get this mess straightened out."said Brooke.

''You know, it doesn't matter the outcome...Tongues are still going to wag about the two of them being a couple...They can't get past that." said Sean.

"Hi Olivia, Hi Vettie." said Zoey, also riding in this morning.

"Oh Hey Zoey..."said Olivia.

"Today is the closing of the book right?" said Lem.

"I hope so...I hope so Lem." sighed Yvette.

Most got off and headed toward our building...The 10 of us kept going and got off in Center City with Rockland.

 

II-

We arrived at Court two hours early... Tanya's Chief of Staff and Best friend, Attorney Alvin Davis was waiting for us with hot steaming tumblers of coffee..

"Good Morning...Grab a cup...This is from Tanya...She'll be joining you all shortly...She really appreciates what you guys are doing.

"Oh thank you..."said Ms. Yvette.

''Anybody seen Gregory or Rollie for that matter?" I asked.

"They'll be here..Rollie is not one to go back on his word." said Bee Bee.

"I'm sure Greg will be here.," said Sofia as she drank her coffee."

"Yeah..We are very early.." said Kahlil.

"There's Rollie over there." said Jade.

"Hey Hey Hey...How are my favorite people?" said Millionaire /Entreprenuer, Rollie Rollerson.

"Heyyyy Rollie...How's my favorite client?" laughed Olivia, hugging Rollie.

 

Donnie Ray laughed and shook Rollie's hand. He had been a client of theirs since they began their law firm and he always tried to help them, throw them some business...

"Hi Rollie."said Beverly...

"Hi Shortcake, Heyy Nelson." said Rollie Rollerson, always Gregarious, always the life of the party..

"Heyyy man." said a smiling Nelson.

"Hi Rollie."gushed Josie..

"Hi Rollie." gushed Bresha.

"Hii Babies...Olivia, you keep some sweet girls in your stable.. So do you Vettie." he said admiring, Bee Bee and Sofia.

We were doing just fine until an unexpected guest came in...

Lt. Tragg, who we hadn't seen in quite some time walked in...Naturally he walked over to us...

''Well will you look at this..Both teams together..eh?  I suppose the States Attorney has gotten herself in yet another jam huh? One she can't get herself out of... How are you going to smooth this over? We know She and her Special Prosecutor were screwing each other's brains out...but on the public dime in Barbadoes...Wowww....After this hearing she is going to have to resign....and good riddance...hmmph!" he said.

"Well! I see you keep up with current events." said Beverly snidely...

"This case is going to be tried in court...Not out here in the waiting area...You've had your say , now go away...Leave us be."said Yvette.

"That's right..We are not going to debate the merits of this case out here."said Olivia.

''What Merits? By the way, where is the uh Happy Couple?" asked Lt. Tragg.

The Answer to that was in the Judges Chambers...

"Gregory , we definitely shouldn't be seen in here together on a day like today....You've got to go." pleaded Tanya Mosley..

"I'm tired of hiding what we do, who we are, After today...We can be free...We can be upfront...Besdies, I haven't seen or talked to you in two weeks...Since we left Olivia's place...I've missed you...Why didn't you return my calls?" asked Greg.

"I've been very busy...Not just with this case, but a whole reorganization thing...I've got to talk to you...After this hearing...You should come back to my office....Ouuuuuuuuu what are you doing?" she asked.

"What I've wanted to do, what I've needed to do for two weeks." said Gregory...

"WHOOOOOOOOOOOO LAWD!! NOT IN HERE!! OUUUUUUUU!" screamed Tanya...

Gregory was kissing her passionately...had her skirt hiked up 

and was slipping her panties down..

"OUUUUUUUU ...DON'T PULL MY PANTIES DOWNNNN!!!!OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!! YOU ARE SOOOO BAD!" she cooed..

"UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM ARE THESE  NEW?" he asked.

"YES THEY ARE NEW, I WAS GOING TO UH SURPRISE YOU WITH THEM!" she said.

"SURPRISE! I'M SURPRISED...OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU GIRRRRRRRL!" he moaned.

"OH YOU ARE JUST INCORRIGIBLE!" she said.

He lifted her up and entered her slowly....

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH....OH MY GODDDD! OUUUUUUUUUUUU!" she cried out helplessly....

She couldn't help herself.. Tears were flowing down the side of her face...Her head was turning from side to side...Her whole body was  trembling...She was feeling good, better than she had a right to feel.

"UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! YOU FEEL SOO DAMN GOOD!" he moaned..

"SO DO YOUUUU!! OUUUUUUUUUUUUU! SO DO YOUUUUUUUUUUU...OUUUUUU GIVE IT TO ME  DADDDY!" she cooed...

"I'VE BEEN WANTIN TO....OHHHHHHHHHH....AWWWWWWWW LAWWWWD !" he moaned..

He sat her on the dresser drawer ,spread her legs and thrusted away inside of her...She held him for dear life....crying like a little girl as he continued to move deep inside of her...

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...AWWWWWWWW LAWWWWD! I CAN'T CONTROL MY ERECTIONS WHEN I'M AROUND YOUUUUUUUU...OUUUUUUUU" he howled..

"UMMMMMMMMMMMMM WHAT AM I GONNA DO WITH YOU?" she cooed..

"ANYTHING...ANYTHING YOU WANT BABY!" he moaned..

She laughed so loud, she had to put her hand over her mouth...she didn't want anyone outside this office hearing them...

AFTER AN HOUR, he finally came and came hard...his whole body shaking....She came also...her body trembling, her head turning from side to side and her hands flailing..

She gave him a wet sloppy kiss....

He caught his breath and fixed his clothes...

She used a disinfectant wipe and wiped all traces of her lipstick off of his face and clothes..

She cleaned up, fixed her clothes and reapplied her make up.. She fixed her hair as best she could in the mirror.

He stood there fixing his tie...staring at her..

"Gregory , we definitely shouldn't be seen in here together on a day like today....You've got to go."she said dryly...."Now come on...Get out of here." she said, smiling at him... "You are sooo bad." she laughed.

"Alright...but that's a preview of tonight baby." he said, smiling confidently as he exited the Judges Chambers.

III-

This was not a trial...This was the State Commission investigating whether Special Prosecutor, Greg Garland's appointment was a political and in particular a romantic favor and more importantly , did they just go on a romantic vacation in Barbados with Public monies.

This was a first time for all of us... 

Tanya sat with her  Chief of staff and best friend, Attorney Alvin Davis. Sitting beside them both was Olivia Bennett-Alexander, her husband, Donnie Ray, her niece, Beverly, Beverly's husband, Nelson and attorneys Josie Boyd and Bresha Billips... Tonya was well represented.. 

 

Gregory Garland sat with his attorneys, Ms. Yvette, Myself, Bee Bee, Sofia ,Kahlil and Jade.

What was surprising is that he and Tanya were not sitting together and were seperated by their perspective legal counsel.

 

 

Sitting on the other side of us were Attorneys Bryce Barnes, attorney Wallace Payton and Private Investigator, Bert Vandenberg..

They were the ones who had secretly made these charges and ironically they had been subpoened as hostile witnesses before the committe..

This hearing was open to the press, who were there in full force.

Without touching on the relationship at all, we brought on Millionaire-Entrepreneur Rollie Rollerson.

 Rollie testified and brought proof of ownership that the Villa they used in Barbados was owned by him... he testified that Greg Garland, acting as his attorney had represented him in a litigation three years ago n Atlanta...The two had become friends and he said that he owed him a favor... That favor was the use of his private villa in Barbados...

Gary Garland said that he paid for Ms. Mosley's round trip airline tickets as well as his own with money out of his pocket...and showed credit card receipts proving as much, thus putting an end to any speculation that their vacation was paid for with Public Funds.....

That should have been the end of it...but the commission wanted to know about a romantic relationship between Greg and Tanya Mosley and if her choice of him as special prosecutor was a "romantic favor."

The argument being, he had no prior experience as a prosecutor...

Tanya Mosley said that she did not hire Greg Garland as any kind of  romantic favor...She hired him because of his years of experience as an attorney, one of the top attorneys..".Just like these ten people here representing us today.."

Attorney Bryce Barnes, who ran against her unsuccessfully twice and who has been her fiercest critic 

claimed the pair have been involved in an “ongoing, personal and romantic relationship,” and went on vacations together. The filings argued the alleged relationship, which Barnes claims started before the Wade Flemming case began, making the indictment “fatally defective” and requested that it be dismissed. 

 

Olivia and her team barbecued him....They asked him under oath if he hired Private Investigator, Bert Vandenberg to follow Ms. Barnes and Mr. Garland, once rumors of their relationship spread and didn't he have prior knowledge of lurid photographs of the two of them that were leaked to the media on his orders...

He wisely took the fifth..

 

 

We took on Attorney Wallace Payton

He took the 5th 24 times and on the other questions he simply replied... "I don't recall...I don't have any knowledge of that."

Bert Vandenberg had a change of heart...He said he was contacted and paid by an anonymous source to follow and photograph the couple...He lied and said he had no meeting or contact with either Wallace Payton or Bryce Barnes.

 

 

 

 

We had bank receipts, showing that Bert Vandenberg had been paid from a dummy account originating in the Caymen Islands that was traced back to Bryce Barnes.....

Still Bert Vandenberg denied ever meeting and talking to the man.....

The Commision had heard enough...They were satisfied that no public monies had been spent...and no laws broken...and they saw this for what it was...Bryce Barnes once again being petty and trying to exact revenge on the person who bested him  twice in elections and they said so... Still they needed to know about the relationship between Tanya and Gregory.. They stated that in looking at his record, he indeed had no previous experience as a prosecuting attorney..

Tanya spoke again-

"We only went on that one vacation to Barbados, there were no multiple vacations... "

“I’m a little confused. I appointed three special counselors. It’s my right to do, paid them all the same hourly rate. They only attack one, Mr. Garland” Tanya said . “I hired one white woman, a good personal friend and a great lawyer, a superstar, I tell you. I hired one Black man, my best friend since law school, who happens to be Gay. brilliant — my friend and a great lawyer. And I hired one Black man, another superstar, a great friend and a great lawyer.” She did not directly reference Greg Garland by his name, but defended the lawyer’s “impeccable credentials.”

With that the hearing was done... No wrong doing had been done and the allegations had been proven meritless.

The NEXT DAY- Tanya dropped a bombshell..

''I AM ANNOUNCING THE NEW SPECIAL PROSECUTOR FOR THE WADE FLEMINGS CASE...She comes to us from the U.S. Attorney's office..Plus she's been an Assistant District Attorney in Cherry Hill before that, Ms. Cheryl Williams...She has impeccable ,unimpeachable prosecutorial skills...I Introduce to you...Ms. Cheryl Williams" she said.

Cheryl Williams addressed the press.

The Press loved her...She was very photogenic and charismatic......

We were back at our building, watching the whole thing on Television..

We all sat in our conference room..

"WHOOOOOOOOOOWEEEEEEEE...ISN'T THAT SOMETHING? I KNEW THAT WOMAN WAS AT OUR DINNER THE OTHER NIGHT FOR A REASON...SHE DIDN'T JUST SHOW UP!"I said.

"Tanya was playing chess , she was thinking past the hearing."said Bee Bee.

''She sure was...She knew we had the goods to make those charges go away....She also knew people would keep talking about the two of them...So She plugged this woman in...No one can cry favoritism or romantic  relationship."said Sofia.

"And she didn't know her before hand...It was all above board."said Kahlil.

"She's not only an excellent Lawyer, She's a good politician too!  This works out well for her."said Ms. Yvette.

"She never confirmed any relationship during the whole hearing..She still left them guessing and speculating." said Jade , smiling.

"Yeah, but I wonder how Gregory feels about this? This was to be a career defining case, and now he's off of it..How do you come back from that.?" asked Virginia.

"I don't know." said Yvette.

IV-

THE OFFICE OF TANYA MOSLEY, STATES ATTORNEY-

"You've tendered your resignation?....Why? Whyyyyyyyyy? Come on Gregory,  They'll be other cases....I assigned this case  to Cheryl to cover you, to cover us...Now they can stop talking about how I appointed you as some kind of romantic favor...They can't say that now." said Tanya.

"You sound just like a politician...You assigned her and cut my legs from under me to cover yourself..Tanya...Not US...It was never about US...It was about You Tanya...You!!! That was going to be a career defining case...I put in long hours, studying, practicing. I was prepared, I was ready.." said Gregory...

"I'm sorry baby, I know how hard you worked on this case. I'll put you on other cases....Cases not so high profile.. The Talking will stop now...We made Bryce Barnes look so bad that he's going to go on vacation..hahahahahahaha. Come on...it's alright..Don't be angry...I had to do this to checkmate them." said Tanya.. "Bryce Barnes was the only one who cared about our relationship..We are free and clear now." said Tanya.

"Nah, I'm free and clear...I'll see you around Ms. States Attorney, have a good life." said Gregory, who turned and walked out of her office,

"Don't go!  Don't Be like that...Come Back!" she said...

Tears streamed down Tanya's face....Her whole body shook...She was crying profusely...She wanted to beg him to stay, but she knew that that was fruitless.

It was Thursday again, Couples Night and we were all in Curleys for the first time in weeks....

 ''Ahhh Couples Night."said Jazzy.

''Cheap drinks and plentiful drinks." laughed her husband, Dabnis.

''Well that hearing is over and Tanya was absolved of any wrong doing."said Kayla.

''Did you have any doubt that she wouldn't be?  Bryce Barnes can't take that she beat him twice..He just looks for stuff to go after her on." said Ray.

''Yeah, well he's been exposed for what he is ....I'm betting he won't even bother to run again." said Jessica.

"His Credibility is shot!" said Chip.

"I like the new Special Prosecutor...She really knows her stuff." said Karen.

"She's going to be on my show next week."said B.L.

"You don't miss a trick B.L. , you be on it!" said Natalie.

"That's why his Podcast is the number one Podcast in the region and Hard Bottom is number 2 in the local ratings." said her husband , David.

''Well with this new Special Prosecutor... they can't argue that she has no experience...She's been an Assistant District Attorney and she comes from the U.S. Attorney's Office."said Brooke.

"I know her..She's nice and she's good..." said Sean.

"You know Wade Flemming and his lawyer might have faired better with Greg Garland.." said Zoey..

"They are nit wits." said said Lem...

"They are..They thought they were getting back at Tanya...and she just checkmated them again." said Renee.

"Like Lem said they're a bunch of nit wits." said Tyrell. 

 "I'm just glad it's over." said Yvette.

"How did Greg take it? Him being taken off the case and all?" asked Gary.

"He turned in his resignation, which I expected him to do ." I said.

"She was trying to protect him...She was giving their relationship cover . Couldn't he see that? She would  have put him on other cases." said Bee  Bee.,

"That sounds just like a politician, which she of course is." said Sofia.

''She kinda won and she lost at the same time." said Kahlil.

"Yeah...kind of." said Jade.

"You all did a great job...You had receipts as they say...embarrassed the hell out of Bryce Barnes...but that Wallace Payton...he was as cool as a cucumber and as slick as canned grease." said Danny.

"Old girl is going to have her hands full with him..." said Virginia.

"Anybody seen or heard from Tanya?" asked Jetty. 

"She hasn't been to work in a few days...Alvin says she took his resignation and their subsequent break up pretty hard." said Olivia.

 

"Wow...It's almost like they never had a chance...Once it got out that they were seeing each other, this was the only way this could end."said Donnie Ray.

"I feel so sorry for the both of them." said Beverly.

"Yeah..This was going to be a career defining case for Greg....and to be removed from it and replaced like that was bruising to his ego...and self esteem."said Nelson.

"He probably felt betrayed." said Josie.

"That would make me want to go and beat the brakes off of Bryce Barnes and Bert Vandenberg."said Paris.

"Come on now, you're a law student, about to become a lawyer...That type of talk is illegal."joked Bresha.

"My honey bun is right, but I know what Paris is talking about.. They had a good thing going and this guy had to muddy the waters and for what? Because he can't accept that he lost the election." said  Tony.

"I imagine both Tanya and Gregory are devestated right now." said Alfreda.

"They'll get over it...they'll both bounce back." said Rockland..

Lt. Tragg walked in and naturally walked over to our area.

"You guys must feel pretty good about yourselves once again you got Tanya Mosley's butt out of a sling..It's disgusting the way you bend and twist the law...Just disgusting..." he said.

We ignored him and kept on drinking and talking amongst ourselves.

" She was forced to replace her boyfriend.....That is one good thing that came from this...No romantic favors.." he snarled..   "Did she pay for your drinks tonight/" he asked.

"Yeah, she paid for all of this."said Yvette sarcastically...

as more drinks arrived. We all burst into loud raucous laughter.....Non stop laughter.....

Thin skinned Lt. Tragg hated being the butt of the joke and object of laughter... He turned and walked over to the bar and ordered a beer...

Gregory walked past Curleys...He saw all of us in there coupled up...It was couples night..He started to come in, but thought better of it.. He simply walked away.

EPILOGUE-

THE WADE FLEMMINGS TRIAL-

With Judge Juanita Tilman presiding..

Cheryl Williams was prosecuting...

Wallace Payton, a wily courtroom veteran was acting as defense  

For Attorney Wade Flemmings.

''We are here as  the result of his handling of shares in a pharmaceutical company named Biochem Pharma. During his representation of marijuana dealer Claude Bubois. Flemming had transferred a large portion of DuBois's assets into his own accounts. The stock, worth about $5.9 million, was supposed to be included in the forfeiture of assets that DuBois made as part of a plea bargain. 

It had been held by Flemming because it would be sold immediately if it came into government possession, but it was expected to rise dramatically in value. Flemming later refused to turn it over, saying that it was payment of his legal fees and not part of DuBois's asset forfeiture.

 In addition, Flemming said that the stock was collateral for loans that he had received, and so could not be sold until the loans were repaid.

These arguments were rejected by the original court; the stock rose in value to about $20 million, and Flemming then argued that, if he turned over the stock so that it could be sold, he was entitled to keep the difference between what it was valued at when he received it and its new, higher price.

 After Flemming was imprisoned for six weeks in 2016 for contempt of court, Bryce Barnes, a partner at his law firm raised the money that enabled Flemming to turn the stock over to the government, and he was released. Flemming still has not turned over the monies..We believe they are in a dummy account in the Caymen Islands.

If convicted of these charges...he faces disbarrment and 1- 3 years in prison.  This is a very important case. I plan to prove this in a court of law... he is not off the hook by a long shot and he and the people behind him's attempt to discredit this office , to turn the public and state government against States Attorney Tanya Mosley and  Former Special Prosecutor, Gregory Garland  will not deter the States Attorney office from persuing this matter." said  Cheryl,laying out her case..

Wallace Payton had lost twice to Olivia and Beverly and another time to Yvette and her team...Other than those three losses , he hadn't lost a case...He was good, but he wasn't ready for Cheryl Williams..

She ran legal circles around him.

Within a week  a twelve person jury made up of six women and six men found Wade Flemmings guilty on all counts.

He was disbarrred and sentenced to Three years in Federal Prison...He broke into tears in court..

Not one question was asked about her relationship with Greg Garland..  They knew that he had recently resigned from her office after being replaced.

At the new airport bar... Ms. Yvette sat with Gregory Garland.

"I heard they won against Flemming."said Gregory dryly..

"Yeah he got disbarred and sentenced to three years in Federal Prison. And Bryce Barnes's credibility is underwater....He was called "The King of Petty" by one newspaper...He's done!" said Yvette.

That got a smile out of Gregory.

"Tanya got what she wanted...Three Big Victories for her. huh?" he said dryly...

''She didn't get everything she wanted. She wanted you....Don't you think you should call her? Talk to her!  She really feels bad about how things went down. She's devestated..."said Yvette.

"She tell you that? or did Alvin or Linda, her mouthpieces...I don't want to hear it!" snarled Greg Garland..not hiding his bitterness. 

"So where will you go now?" asked Yvette.

''Well....I'm going to Miami to vacation for a few weeks , starting today, and then back to Atlanta..for work.   I'm keeping that property I was renting in Bayside, so I have a place to stay when I come back to visit. I'm subletting it out to a friend of mine.

Tell the guys ,Keith ,Bee Bee, Sofia ,Kahlil ,Jade and Virginia that I said Goodbye. I didn't get a chance to stop by the office.." he said.

You have an awesome staff Vettie." he said.

"Thank you ! No chance you and Tanya can ever reconcile?" asked Ms. Yvette.

''Nope!" he said without hesitating.  He looked at his watch... "Uh oh....look at the time...Gotta catch my plane. I really have enjoyed having this drink with you Vettie." he said and he kissed Yvette on the cheek and hugged her.

"Take care of yourself Vettie girl." he said.

''And you as well." said Yvette as she watched him walk toward the exit for his flight...

She sat at the bar and ordered one last drink.
