"It'll be a good time....Stephen Bristol always throws the best parties." said Gary....

"WE'LL BE THERE!" said Linda Gorman answering before Tanya could make an excuse not to come.

"The Day Party is tomorrow." said Olivia.

 

"Yeah, we all are leaving a little early tonight." said Donnie Ray.

"That's okay by me..considering." said Nelson.

"Tomorrow is going to be so much fun!" said Josie.

"It starts with breakfast and then D.J.'s and dancing...." said Paris....

"And a Soul Food Dinner..." said Bresha..

"Well that's why we are leaving here at midnight tonight." said Rockland. 

For Olivia, Beverly and their people, this would be their first Day Party...

 "Did you see the line up of event for tomorrow's day party?" asked Yvette..

"I sure did.. Brunch...Then D.J.'s and dancing all day."said Gary...

''And A soul food banquet "said Keith.

They saw Linda Gorman sitting at a table near us with her date for the night.. Attorney Gabe Matt, who worked in the office across from Tanya and her staff...

"Tanya...Cheryl, come over, we saved a spot for you." said Linda.

"Heyyy Ladies...join us.." said Gabe Matt.

Alvin was sitting at a table near everyone else with his date LGBTQ Civil Rights Attorney Charles St. Patrick..

Everyone had a date except Tanya....But that all changed...

"You know you're like a broken record...you say the same damn thing every Thursday night...as if on cue.  We paid for our own drinks...We didn't even know States Attorney Mosley was coming tonight...and if she did pay for our drinks, which I reinterate she DID NOT...What's it to you? Jealous?" said Dabnis.

"YOU'D BETTER MUZZLE IT BUDDY!" snarled Lt. Tragg.

"How about You'd better muzzle it?  If you don't get away from their tables and I mean right now...I'll call the Sherrif's deputies and have you hauled away to jail....Now Get to steppin."said States Attorney Tanya Mosley..She didn't raise her voice.

Lt. Tragg knew a phone call from her, A States Attorney could result in him instantly being arrested....He didn't want any trouble....So he walked away and went to the bar to order drinks....

"I like the way you handled that.....I like a lot about you." said Joseph Bishop..

"You don't even know me." said Tanya, blushing..

"There is no better time than the present." he said with a smile.

They talked the rest of the night....and had drinks......and exchanged numbers....

"Looks like they are hitting it off nicely." said Cheryl..

"I told you they would...My boy is the perfect gentlemen." said Austin...

"He seems like a real operator.."joked Linda Gorman..

"Hahahahahaha" laughed her date, Gabe Matt.

Under the watchful eye of Lt. Tragg, who watched every single one of them pile on to buses..Buses that would safely transport them to their homes..

Linda Gorman and Gabe Matt and Cheryl Williams and Austin Lewis managed to slip out without Lt. Tragg noticing...The four of them had drank enough to be reasonably stopped...but they managed to slip by...

Alvin Davis, A Lt. Tragg critic and sworn enemy of the Lieutenant was not so lucky...He and his partner were stopped and his partner, who was driving was given a $126.00 ticket and a point on his drivers license...

Alvin Davis was livid!!! He was in court early the next morning before heading to the day party..

He argued that Lt. Tragg, a Homicide Lieutenant, who was off duty had no right to stop them and that he too had been at the same bar and had been drinking also...

He came before Judge Percy Reynolds, a judge who despised Lt. Tragg...He tore the ticket up and waived the fine and took the point off of his driving record.

Lt. Tragg was not at the hearing.

Joseph Bishop and Tanya Mosely went to an afterhours bar and stayed for an hour..Continuing to talk...They were both entranced with each other.
