Her Aunt and her new uncle walked in just then...

''Mind if we join you?" asked Olivia.

"Of course not Auntay.You don't mind do you Boo?"said Beverly...

"No..Not at all." I said as they joined us in our booth. Boo? She had never called me "Boo" before and had never asked what I thought about anything...She was warming and changing towards me, I mused.

"Hey Donnie Ray...This is my boyfriend...Nelson East...He used to work with us at the Public Defender's Office" she said.

"Well Nelson, it has been a few years since we were at the Public Defenders Office, You finally got my niece huh?  You still there?" said Ms. Olivia.

"Yes mam, but maybe not for long...I'm lookin to work in the private sector...I got a job offer from Robert Foxworth." I said.

"Robert is doing good...When my firm gets a little bigger...I may eventually add another attorney too. Possibly you!" she said and smiled. I would love working with Olivia and Beverly again.

"Boyfriend eh?  Boo?  Wow! Hey Bev...Do you know if yall two get married...Your name will be Beverly East?  Or Beverly West-East?" joked Donnie Ray...

Olivia laughed and playfully slapped his Arm...

Beverly giggled and playfully slapped his arm...He hadn't missed that either.. He was a detective after all.

Ms. Olivia and Donnie Ray sat down across from us..
