Mysteries and Miracles

A little while later we were all back at the FBI Crime lab with Jimmy and Sharon...The standoff between the FBI,Philadelphia Police and the four bank robbers continued...They had released all of the hostages except for Detective Angela Belton...and so far no one was harmed....

Detectives Sirena Pile and Antonio Hopkins had hit pay dirt and they returned with maps of the neighborhoods sewer system and underground tunnels beneath and around the bank...

"We've pin pointed all of the exit points.....and we've pretty much got a plan to put men at all of these locations to intercept these guys when they decide to make a run for it." said Sirena...

"Only thing is...That C4...We don't know how much or how powerful...We don't want to put anybody in harms way....I called a guy from Tactical and he and his men are mapping out a way to do this now." said Hop.

"You guys do good work...You're my two newest detectives...and I am so glad to have both of you...I am impressed..." said Sissy, beaming proudly....They both smiled.

"I just got off of the phone with Interpol....That robbery in West Berlin last year of those Bearer Bonds was major....They are worth close to a billion dollars...That's what these guys were after...Apparently, Henry Cato was the mastermind and he had an Air Force buddy who was an expert on Museums and such...He found out about the bonds and set the whole thing up...Some how or other, they contracted this gang to make the snatch...Only Cato,got greedy and vanished with the bonds...He couldn't keep anything that valuable on him, so he hid them here in that bank." said FBI Special Agent Sharon Hopkins...

''And apparently...his friends caught up with him and tortured and murdered him, but not before they got the whereabouts and the number of that safe deposit box...They never wanted the money in that bank...They wanted the bearer bonds.." I said.

Just then, My wife Carlotta, Duke and Tyriq entered the van...

"We've got uniforms doing a block to block search of the neighborhood, questioning witnesses...They will be reporting to me if they find anything." said Carlotta.

"I've got people checking the traffic cams and the crime stopper cameras for anything...We did find one of the cars that these guys used today in one of the videos...but it's so fuzzy, we can't identify who is coming out of it." said Duke...

"We did a check of this guys financials...credit cards, debit cards, bank accounts.....Nothing out of the ordinary...He was very careful and cautious..."said Tyriq...

''And we checked his friends and relatives...They apparently knew nothing of his activities..Some didn't even know he was out of the military." said Carlotta.

"Good work guys..."said Sissy....

Suddenly, Jimmy let out a yell..

"Hey guys...look!!! The front door is opening....It's Angie!!! She's coming out!!!" he said...

And there to our Amazement..Detective Angela Belton slowly emerged with her pocketbook..out of the bank!!!!....

She appeared to be unharmed!!!

II-

Sharon and the FBI agents under her command exited the vehicle and began walking toward her slowly...

Jimmy, Sissy and I followed behind them, along with Tyriq,Duke, Sirena, Carlotta, Hazel and Hop...and Lt.Cantrell.

Jimmy got to her first, hugging her and giving her a passionate kiss, which she returned...

"They let you go." he said..

"Yes..." she said.

We all hugged her tightly.....

''Anybody else in there?" I asked.

''No...they're getting ready to go..." she said.

"They just let you go?" asked Sharon..

"Yeah...The ring leader said something weird...He said...'The Boss man told us not to harm you, you're free to go." she said.

Suddenly...We heard a massive explosion!! It shook the entire block...We ducked for cover...

IV-

None of us were hurt!  The snipers on the roof were fine and the brave FBI agents and Philadelphia police personell were all unharmed...We had Angie back and except for the back wall of the bank, there didn't seem to be much damage done...

Within the next hour and a half,Several FBI bomb squad agents reported to Sharon...

"Strangest thing Sharon...Not a penny is missing!!!...They apparently didn't take any money..." he said.

"What?" she said.

"No....and the stupid asses..They didn't give the timer enough time...They're all dead...The bomb went off too soon." he said.

"No...That's crazy...That doesn't make any sense...They talked about bagging up money..and escaping through a tunnel." said Angie..

"We see where they bagged up some money, but it was untouched...The timer went off too soon....You guys got a medic or a forensics person around?" he asked..

"I'm a forensics investigator." said Hazel...

"We got a mess in there...body parts and bodies all over the place..."he said.

"Was this a suicide mission or something?" asked Sissy.

"No...just before they got ready to go...The leader got a phone call...I don't know who he talked to...but after that...They cut me loose...I keep remembering what he said.."The Boss man told us not to harm you."
Which seemed weird because I thought the one they called Peter Gunn was the boss." said Angie..

''Mami..the boss man was in the bank...probably disguised as one of the Hostages" said Carlotta...

"It makes sense...We know that it was six members of this crew...Only four took the bank down...One of them, Mr.Cato was murdered yesterday...Which leaves only one person unaccounted for." Said Tyriq..

"It had to be one of the hostages...Which is why they were released..." said Duke...

"We have their names...We are going to have to do a work up on all of them." said Sissy...

"Maybe Not!!...I just got a photo of the sixth man...The man we can't account for...James Williams.." said Sharon... "Interpol just faxed it to us...He left the Air Force and worked for a few Museums in Europe...Which is how he was able to set up this heist..He's from Willingborough, New Jersey." she said.

We looked at the Photo....When Angie saw it, she nearly vomited...

"Oh My God...That's Pete...The guy that was buying Bridget and me drinks in Josies the night before ,Sissy and the hostage that got sick...Had a seizure or something and that they released to go to the hospital." she said.

"He's our guy...He's the head man...He set that timer and apparently he double crossed all of his friends..."said Sirena..

Hop got on the phone and called the hospital....

"He's gone!!!...A Pete Williams checked himself out hours ago...Said that he was feeling better.." said Hop....

"Oh My God...He was in on it all the time...He told them I was a cop...because he's the only one in there who knew..."said Angie...

"He's probably long gone now Angie...Don't sweat it...He was pretty good...Important thing...The bank didn't lose any money, no body got hurt and most importantly...YOU didn't get hurt." said Jimmy...who grabbed her and kissed her again...softly rubbing her breasts...She didn't even attempt to move his hands...she just returned his passion...Which made those of us who were married and in relationships want to go home and get back to what we were doing before we were interrupted!


We all smiled and clapped..

Within hours, Hazel positively identified the remains as .Jeff Tabor, a South African ,(Tubbs) a White Woman, Sylvia Johhanson,From Norway,(Honey West) Brett Eegan, also from Norway(Sonny Crockett) and the ring leader..Ezra Dane...a South African....(Peter Gunn) Slick the way they called themselves the names of American TV Detectives!

With that, most of this case was wrapped up...The entire crew was dead!  The FBI put out a warrant for James Williams arrest on charges of Bank Robbery and five counts of first degree murder..

"Well, I guess you feds will have to capture him now.."said Sissy.

"Yeah, we got a bolo out on him...He'll turn up soon..." she said.

"Wow, we all got robbed of our Saturday....You guys all have Monday off, with pay." said Sissy...

Lt.Cantrell walked up...

"I'm pulling my men....Sharon, I guess you Feds got this now right?" he said.

''Yes Lieutenant...we got it...Thank you for you help sir."she said.

"Anytime darlin."he said...He took one last look at Sissy...

"Sissy... I'll uh be seeing you." he said. Sissy smiled weakly and nodded..she said nothing..

Carlotta walked over to Sissy-

''You alright Boss Lady?" she asked.

Sissy smiled at Carlotta and rubbed her arm...

"Yeah girl,I'm fine...Let's get out of here." she said..

I put my arm around my wife Carlotta, Duke was holding Hazel's hands and walking towards their car, Tyriq and Sirena had started kissing already before they got in the car.. Sharon kissed Hop and said.."As soon as I finish my paperwork,I'll be home boo...Don't fall asleep..."He smiled a devilish smile...Sissy was on her phone, probably calling Eddie C.

Angie looked at Jimmy..

"Jimmy, I don't ever want to be without you on the weekend again...Not for a long time." she said in between kisses..

''You'll get no argument from me.." he said smiling...

They held hands and walked off into the night...

Carlotta swooned..

"That was sooo romantic papi." she said.

"I can top that...Let's go home baby. So I can be romantic with you" I said.

"Yes...Let's do that.So I can be romantic with you" she said and winked..

I stared at her and smiled devilishly...

''Already imagining me with my clothes off aren't you?" said Carlotta ,smiling devilishly herself..

"Yes...as a matter of fact I am." I said...

"Than what are we waiting for?" she asked as we headed for the car!!
