Washing Machine

Olivia and I lie in bed...Sweaty and exhausted after hours of good sex...Her head was lying on my chest...I was playing in her hair, one of her arms swung lightly across my leg and swung towards the floor..

''Livy...want to hear a joke?" I said smiling...

''What?" she said..

"It's called the washing machine." I said.

"The washing machine?" she said.

''Yeah.." I said..

''Okay..let's hear it." she said, her head still nestled on my chest..

"Okay, check it out ,A Husband and wife decide to make a password for sex, they decide on "washing machine". Later in bed that night husband says, "Washing machine". The Wife replies, "Not tonight darling I have a sore head". Half an hour passes and she feels guilty so she says, "Washing machine".
The Husband replies, "Too late it was only a small load so I decided to do it by hand." I said...

Olivia raised up her head and stuck her tongue out....

''Boooooooo." she said and then nestled her head back down on my chest...

I laughed to myself...and we both drifted off to sleep.

II- 

The next morning, I walked downstairs to our office and there I saw Josie, our Office manager and Beverly and her boyfriend Nelson...They were drinking coffee and laughing in the break room...

 "Hey guys!" I said as I walked past them...

''Hey D.R."said Beverly and Josie..

''Nice Suit Mr. Alexander." said Nelson.

''Thanks...I had it tailored for me by Sam the Tailor." I said.

"Oh wow...Big Time...I've heard of him...He does good work." said Nelson..

I smiled and whispered in his ear...

''Get with me later....I'll make arrangements for us to go there and get you a suit...My treat." I said.

He was getting ready to say thank you...but I made a motion with my hands..."It's all good buddy."I said and  headed for the door..

"Auntay is outside waiting for you D.R....Where are you two going today?" asked Beverly...

"We are going to see a man about a horse" I joked as I went outside...


''Oh Hardy Har har...You are so funny." joked Beverly.

Olivia was sitting in the passenger side of her Lexus when I came out...

"I sure hope this works..." said Olivia...

''I guaruntee it will work." I said.

She tossed me the keys and I pulled off....

III-

Just a day earlier I had had a meeting with the Pimp and Strip club owner known as Big Chicken....His associate Rollo Jones had met with me at the Mermaid Club and had escorted me up to his office...Which was located on the second floor of a building that housed a Chinese restaurant.
"You're Donnie Ray Alexander?" said Big Chicken...

''Yes I am...I just have a few questions about one of your girls who may be blackmailing my client."I said.

"The only reason I'm talking to you at all is because my man, Kevin Morris vouched for you.." he said.

" This is about Dixie...Diana Dixon"I said.

Rollo and Big Chicken looked at me...Then they laughed...

''She is a scamming somebody..."said Rollo.

"Is she pregnant?" I asked..

Again they looked at each other...

"Not hardly!!...She wouldn't be working if she were...." said Big Chicken...

"Do your girls get a check up?" I asked.

"Got to...IT'S THE LAW!" said Big Chicken....He and Rollo busted out laughing...

Rollo passed me a card...

"That's the Doctor that checks all of my girls...I'll call ahead ...He'll give you any documentation you need." said Big Chicken..

"Can he do that? I mean Doctor -patient confidentiallity?" I said.

''He does what I tell him to do...I pay him and I supply him with my girls from time to time." said Big Chicken.

I smiled...

''Much obliged.."I said.

"Don't mention it.." He said.

"Give Kevin Morris our regards." said Rollo Jones..

"I'll be sure to do that." I said.
IV-

''Robert, I can't thank you enough for letting us use your conference room for this meeting." said Olivia as we both sat down and waited for Ms Dixon to arrive..

''No problem at all Livy...Donnie Ray...I'm Only too glad to help....Your brother is already here." said Attorney Robert Foxworth.

''He's finally on time for something.."laughed Olivia...

"Hey Liv, Brother in law...You guys sure she'll be here?" he asked...

"Oh she'll be here...She thinks there is some money in this for her." I said.

I was right... Diane Dixon arrived only a few minutes late for our appointment...Dressed to the nines...

She was stunned to see James West sitting with us....She was even more surprised to see Rollie Rollerson and Jamie Mitchell, the football player entering behind her and sitting down...

"Hey what is this? A set up? " she said as she came in the room.

"Sit down Ms. Dixon." I said sternly...

She looked a bit frightened...but she sat down...

''Ms. Dixon...I'm an Attorney...I represent all three of these men...and apparently you have been blackmailing them." said Olivia...

"Blackmail?? These guys came on to me." she snapped...

"Perhaps...but you used who they were to ask for money.." I said and pulled out a bag filled with burner cell phones....I showed her the numerous texts to all three men asking for money and photographs of them passing her envelopes...I showed her a Doctor's examination report that shows that she in fact was not pregnant!

"Look ,who are you guys?" she snapped..

''She's a lawyer...I'm an investigator...."I said.

"A Cop?" she asked..

''Not quite...but I could take all of this information to the cops..."I said.

"Can we work something out?" she said.

''Cease and Desist..You are to return all monies to these three gentlemen and to have no further contact with them..." said Olivia...

''Okay...Done." she said.

"The money should be returned in a timely fashion and if not...This information will be forwarded to the police." I said.

"Okay...Okay....I'll return the money....Just don't go to the police...I'm on probation." she said.

Olivia passed her a contract....She willingly signed it and she got up and walked out...

Jamie Mitchell and Rollie Rollerson smiled , relieved...

"Liv, once again, you got us out of a big jam." said Rollie Rollerson...

"Thank you sooo much Ms. Olivia ,I didn't know what to do...I was too ashamed to call you for help on this one.." said Jamie Mitchell...

"Thanks Bro...You saved my marriage." said Jimmy....

"Mine too." said Jamie..

"One word guys....Discretion....And you should thank my husband...He did the leg work." said Olivia...

All three men thanked me profusely...

"Baby sis, I owe you my life." said Jimmy...

"You owe us all Dinner..."said Olivia...

"Done Deal...and just in the nick of time..Malinda comes back this afternoon." he said.

V-

Jimmy took Olivia, Beverly, Nelson, Josie and I to Bottom of the C. for a very expensive and delicious meal..His wife Malinda joined us...

''This food is delicious Daddy." said Beverly...

''Glad you like it baby girl...and is everything to your fella's liking?" asked Jimmy looking at Nelson..

''Everything is just great sir." said Nelson in between bites...

Jimmy looked at Olivia and Me and smiled sheepishly.

Olivia and I smiled at each other and Josie was silent as we ate the hot and delicious food...

''So has things been quiet here while I was gone?" asked Malinda...

"Uhhh Pretty much.." said James nervously....

"Livy tell the truth....Was he trying to step out on me?" asked Malinda jokingly...

Olivia looked at her brother with a side eye...

''Well were you?" she asked...

James cleared his throat...

"No...Nahhh..What would make you ask a thing like that?" he replied with a nervous laugh...

Beverly and Josie, who knew nothing about what Olivia and I had to do in the past few days looked amused and confused..

Finally ,I spoke up....

"Ahhh nah Malinda..Me and your hubby been hangin out...He's caught my act at Josies....Other than drinkin too much...He's been a monk."I said.

Malinda looked at Olivia...

''Men, they always stick up for each other..."she said.

Olivia smiled..

"Yeah,how about that?" she said.

Jimmy looked at me and winked.

EPILOUGE:

Diana "Dixie" Dixon paid back all of the money she owed Rollie Rollerson, Jamie Mitchell and Jimmy West... Big Chicken fired her and she moved , first to New York City , then to Las Vegas....

Some months later, she was found dead in a seedy motel room...apparently of an overdose of heroin and cocaine...She wasn't known to use....Her death was listed as suspicious and remains an open case..

I stared into her eyes and rolled her over....We began kissing again....

''That is good to know..."I said in between kisses...
