Meanwhile, Back in Philadelphia

CANCUN-

After several big time trials and doing all that research for Jessica's case...Our team and Yvette's team decided to take a vacation... 

A Vacation to Cancun, Mexico.. We had been here for a week and had another full week left...

We found  Two Air BNB's by the beach...and we rented them...

Spring was just beginning at home in Philadelphia..but here it was balmy and Sunny...about 96 degreesand unlike other times we had left town together..There was no case.. We were just vacationing.

"Ohhh this is so nice...All of us on a vacation from Philly and no case to work on...It was sooo nice we all could take the time off at the same time...We are always soo busy."said Olivia..

"I imagine Jessica and Chip are preparing their trial by now..It's been a week." I said.

"Yeah, she told me they would be exhuming the body of Sean Allen sometime this week.."said Beverly..

"Wow.. I hated leaving Ray and Kayla and Dabnis and Jazzy behind, but they couldn't take the time off  at the present time."said Nelson..

As he mixed another cool drink..

"I know...but somebody had to hold down the fort."said Yvette, who was leaning into her husband's arms..

"I was glad I got to take the time off.."said Gary..

"Ms. Jade chose to stay back in Philly...Maybe she can make the next trip."said Keith Jones..

"Yeah...I know she really would have had a blast here.."said Bee Bee..

"Like we are having.." said Sofia..

"Yeah."said Kahlil..

"This is the life...I'm loving this...waking up near noon...No casework, no court appearence and hanging out with my favorite people."said Josie..

"I'm glad I was able to take off myself..This is soooo cool." said Paris, Josie's boyfriend..

Meanwhile Back in Philadelphia, At Sam Mothers Diner...The orders came out..

Sausages

Fresh Orange Juice

and Hot Coffee..

"I miss Liv and Bev and the gang...They're probably lying on the beach in Cancun..soaking up the sun and having another drink.." said Kayla..

"I knowwwwww...I soo envy them..."said Jazzy..

"They earned it...They worked hard on that big case , you know...The guy who might have been wrongly executed..That's scary that that could happen... I was talking to Jessica about that yesterday..They exhumed the guy's body and took DNA samples.."said Dabnis..

"Chip told me they took the DNA to three places, Our own Medical Examiner's Office, The FBI and an independent DNA lab...That's smart.." said Ray as the two couples ate their breakfast...

Lt. Tragg walked into the diner...

"Awww hell, trouble just walked in."said Ray , seeing Lt. Tragg.

Lt. Tragg hadn't seen Olivia or Beverly or anyone associated with them in a week..Nor had he seen Yvette and her associates..

He walked over to Kayla...Olivia and Beverly's cousin..

"I haven't seen your famous cousins around.." he snarled.

"That's because they're on vacation. They're out of town..They'll be back in a week..I'll tell them you asked about them."said Kayla as she her husband, Jazzy and Dabnis continued eating, paying him no mind..

He walked to the counter...

"My regular Sam.." he said..

"Comin up Artie." he said..

and Coffee..

Jade Lee was sitting at the end of the counter sipping coffee

She sighed and hung her head when she saw Lt. Tragg headed towards her..

''Haven't seen your boss or your little pals in awhile..I need to talk to them about this upcoming hearing." said Lt. Tragg.

"Aren't you under a Cease and Desist order concerning us? Besides...Ms. Yvette and her associates are out of town..They're on vacation this week..They'll be back in a week."said Jade.

"Wait a minute, Olivia and Beverly are out of town on vacation and Yvette and her team are out of town on vacation? What's going on?? The hearing is in two days.." said Lt. Tragg.

"We are finished with that case...Olivia's team and Yvette's team were hired to help Jessica with research...That done..We went back to our lives..Olivia, Beverly, Donnie Ray, Nelson, Josie and her boyfriend, Yvette, Gary, Keith, Bee Bee, Kahlil and Sofia are all in Cancun..If Danny could have taken the time off...I would have been there too..."said Jade.

"Cancun eh? Vacation huh?  How nice..." he said snidely....

He saw Alfreda Johnson, Beverly's mother and Olivia's Office manager  coming into the diner ,holding hands with Assistant District Attorney Rockland Cambridge.

He walked over to Rockland..

"Rockland Cambridge.....You filed a Cease and Desist order against me a few weeks ago....I won't forget this...Watch your back...because I'm putting you on notice pal." he snarled..

Rockland turned and stared Lt. Tragg down..

"IS THAT A THREAT? I DON'T TAKE THREATS WELL!!" he snarled..

"Ignore him honey...Just Ignore him...He likes to hear himself talk!" whispered Alfreda..

"YOU!!!!THIS WAS YOU!!! YOU!!! YOU PUT HIM UP TO THIS....HE'D OF NEVER THOUGHT TO DO THIS ON HIS OWN!!" he bellowed, looking at Alfreda and furious...

"You'd BETTER WALK THE HELL OUT OF HERE ,WHILE YOU'VE STILL GOT A BADGE BUDDY!!" bellowed Rockland..

"I'll knock you the hell out sonny boy...You and your lady and I'm using that term lightly, better go and sit down.." snarled Lt. Tragg..

"You go to hell you corny Keystone Copper" said Alfreda..

"LIKE I SAID...GET OUT OF HERE WHILE YOU STILL GOT A BADGE AND YOUR HEAVILY MADE UP FACE!" said Rockland..

"TELL HIM!!! YEAHHHH!" screamed Dabnis, who was enjoying the entire thing.  He had had his share of stare downs with Lt. Tragg himself..

''Will you hush up?" said a mortified Jazzy.

Now heads were turning...

"MANNNNNNN..I KNEW I SHOULD HAVE BROUGHT SOME POPCORN!!" laughed Ray...

"Shut uppppp goofball,come on let's get out of here."said Kayla.

"This is just getting good.."laughed Dabnis.

"Oh hush up...Let's go.."said Jazzy as they paid their bills..

"Hey Neighbors....Never a dull moment huh?" laughed Jade as she too paid her bill and proceeded to leave Sam Mother's Diner...She decided she was not coming in here the rest of the week...

"ARTIE!!! THAT'S ENOUGH!!! YOU'VE FINISHED YOUR MEAL...GET OUT!!! OUTTTTTT!" screamed Sam Mother..

CANCUN-

Back in Cancun, we continued to enjoy not being in Philadelphia, Not Being involved in a contentious courtroom batte.. Just relaxing..

The water was beautiful...A pure blue...You could see straight through it..

We were so relaxed..

Olivia had just got off of her cell phone.

"Oh My God..Alfreda told me that Rockland and Lt. Tragg had a yelling and screaming match in Sam Mother's Diner today and it almost turned into a fistfight.."said Olivia.

"My money was on Rockland!" I said, laughing at the thought of such a brawl...

"Such a miserable man..He has nothing to do...I'm so glad we are down here , free of him."said Beverly..

"He needs a woman."said Nelson..

As he mixed another cool drink..

"I was just on the phone with Jade, she told me the same thing.. He's been asking about where we are."said Yvette.

"I'll bet he's pissed, knowing we are down here in the sun and fun on the beach.."said Gary..

"I know he is..."said Keith Jones..

"I don't think any of our friends should eat at Sam Mothers for the next few days.."said Bee Bee..

"If I know right, Kayla, Ray, Jazzy and Dabnis won't be." said Sofia..

"Yeah. Jade shouldn't either..He's just going to be a miserable mess."said Kahlil..

"He's on a Cease and Desist, which means he can't have any contact with or harrass us.."said Josie..

"For a guy like Lt. Tragg, that's not worth the paper it's written on." said Paris, Josie's boyfriend..

mixing more drinks.. Sadly...He was right.

That was so far from us right now in sunny Cancun.

And meanwhile back in Philadelphia. 

"I want to thank you all for the help you have provided us.." said Jessica..

"Yes, you've possibly blown this case wide open."said her husband, Chip..

Jessica and Chip were meeting with Dr. Hazel Baylor of the Medical Examiner's Office, FBI /ATF Special Agent in Charge, Sharon Hopkins and Dr. Goggins of Goggins DNA Laboratories..

"We have determined that the DNA in the panties, on the bra and in the boxer shorts were not Sean Allen's but belonged to another male..

"We have determined that the DNA belonged to one person and one person only.. John "Big Jack" Parlor, who had a record for sexual assault and whose own wife had a restraining order out on him at the time of her death for forcible rape.."said Sharon..

"My lab came to the same conclusion....unfortunately, John "Big Jack" Parlor is no longer with us, He was shot to death in a bar three years ago...but all physical evidence points to him being the murderer and not Sean Allen." said Dr. Goggins..

"Oh My God!!! This man was innocent all along...and sloppy police work and a beaten confession as well as Judicial indifference caused an innocent man to be executed...Oh My God!!" said Jessica.

"Oh My God!!!" said Charles, appalled and a little frightened at the thought that this actually happened in his state.

That night at home...Jessica, a very passionate woman  wanted to make love.. I had told Jason that I had the best,most passionate sex when Olivia was upset about something... He remembered that and prepared himself for a night...

Chip stared at her...She was beautiful and in two days , he was going to help her in a landmark case..

He like her was thankful for all of the friends who had helped them prepare this case...Now the two of them had to go win it.. Shame it was too late, 15 years too late for Sean Allen...Executed for a crime he didn't commit.
