"The Police took a $2000.00 dollar necklace from off of her neck when they found her floating.. and a $1500.00 ankle bracelet..." said Jade... "The panties and the bra" she was wearing and the baby doll were purchased from Victoria's Secret..in London...by her.." added Jade.

"She was a very successful Investment Banker and Broker...I mean she had money...but it looks like her sugar daddy was really lavishing her with expensive goo gobs." said Bee Bee.

"I feel sorry for girls that get caught up like that.......She's in love with him and he not only has a wife, but another side chick to boot." said Sofia.

"It's like a super love triangle..." said Bee Bee.

"You've been watching movies on the Lifetime Channel too much Bee."laughed Sofia.

"You gotta admit...This would make a good screenplay, if it uh wasn't so real and so tragic." I said.

"Yeah for real." said Kahlil..

"You guys missed your calling...Maybe you should have been screenwriters.." said Ms. Jade with a smile.

"No, they're good attorneys and the best attorneys are great storytellers.." said Brenda, looking at us and smiling.. "Ouuuu Vettie, I just love them, they're so cute!" she said..

"Yeah they are! " said Ms. Yvette.. Your niece is Priority now!  We've got to get her out first.... Bee, Sofia, find us a judge...Keith, Kahlil, find charactor witnesses, go back to the school if you have to....Take Jade with you.... Brenda...you and I are going to Central Booking." said Yvette.

"We 're on it !" said Bee Bee...

"On it Boss Lady." said Sofia..

"On our way right now." I said..

''We are all over it!" said Kahlil.

"Now Brenda, you and I are going to take a nice train ride into town and see about getting your niece out of jail." said Yvette.

"Thank You Yvette... You're definitely on my Christmas List..." said Brenda.

The "Fishbowl" the nickname the detectives gave to the interrogation room didn't smell as bad as it was known to smell.. Lt. Tragg had them empty the trash cans and put in clean bags instead of letting it overflow..

He had the floors mopped with hot soapy water, three times a week and had fans blowing any odors out and Febreze on the walls.

It actually smelled kind of nice..

Cassidy Skyler finished up the breakfast Lt. Tragg had bought for her from Sam Mother's Diner..

Steak and Eggs, Hash Browns and Coffee..

None of his other suspects ever got as much as an offer of a candy bar and a bottle of water from him...But they weren't blonde, with sexy legs and a short skirt that was driving him bananas..

"You don't know the guy, but you figure...I killed somebody over some, some super love triangle???

You are so wrong Lieutenant...I didn't kill anybody...." said Cassidy...

''We have witnesses who had you two arguing earlier.. and friends of yours who knew you said you were dating some guy, some mysterious guy who sent for you when he wanted you...The same guy who was doing the same thing with Kathy...So come on..Spill...Do yourself a favor..Let me help you.." said Lt. Tragg.

"Yeah, help me get a needle in my arms... Noo thanks..I didn't kill anybody and I'm not saying anything until a lawyer comes for me.." said Cassidy...

Lt. Tragg looked at his watch.. "I called the Public Defender...wonder what's keeping her?" he lied.. He hadn't called anybody...

"Call her or Him and tell them their services won't be needed." said Brenda Jordan.

''Looks like we keep running into each other Lieutenant." said Yvette.

''That's my niece you're holding." said Brenda Jordan.

''Aunt Brenda,,,YOU CAME!" said Cassidy....

''Aunt Brenda? She's your niece??? I can see the resemblance...Va Va Va VOOOOOOOOOOOOM!" he said..

''She's my niece and you've got no case against her." said Brenda..

"How about she and the victim had a loud argument that had to be broken up by the ship's crew two hours before the victim took a splash in the river?   How about we found the murder weapon, the missing  lamp from the victims room in her quarters with blood and brain matter on it...How about both of them are the only two people who registered in single rooms on a "couples" cruise...huh?" said Lt. Tragg.

"Why bring the lamp back to her quarters? She could have tossed it into the river with the victim...No fuss no muss?" said Yvette.

"Vettie, you got that devilish smile...You'd of made a great killer...heh heh heh...By the way...Where are the kiddies?  Off on a play date?" smirked Lt. Tragg.

''You'll see them soon enough....Now can we have the room....And I must say...It smells livable in here...What did you do, clean up this place?" asked Yvette...

The floors looked like they'd been steam cleaned... The Trash cans had clean bags and weren't overflowing...There was no smell of stale cigarette odor or underarm odor... It was unbelievably bearable.

''Aunt Brenda...I swear, I didn't do this...Yes, we had a big argument that almost turned into a fight..but I didn't kill her.. After we were seperated...I went back to my room and cried myself to sleep.....I thought for sure she had gotten him." said Cassidy....

"This is Mrs. Yvette Jones Lockwood, One of the Attorneys I've gotten to represent you...."said Brenda.

"I know who you are...You lectured at PENN last year...and you are the attorney Olivia and Beverly went to when they got sued last year....WOWWWWWWWW, You know my auntie huh?" said Cassidy.

"Yes, Your Auntie and I have been friends and worked together and against each other in court for many years..." said Yvette... "The first thing I need to know is WHO IS THIS MAN that has both of your girls so crazy....Even Lt. Tragg doesn't know his identity..." said Yvette.

"I can't reveal his name... I can't... he has nothing to do with this... Nothing.." said Cassidy...

"I'm your attorney...Anything you say to me is held in the strictest confidence...Attorney -Client privilege. You're a third year law student...You know that." said Yvette.

"I won't reveal his name here...Not Now!." said Cassidy...

Brenda pointed to the window...

Yvette figured their conversation might be compromised.. She smiled and nodded..

"Okay Cassidy...Don't talk to anybody or say anything about your case...Trust no one...especially here...My associates are rounding up character witnesses from your school and a judge to arraign you..

Sit tight...We are going to get you out." said Yvette.

"Thank you Ms. Yvette, Thank you Aunt Brenda..." said Cassidy...

"Take Care Baby girl." said Brenda.

"Don't worry...We're going to get you out of here." said Yvette.

Lt. Tragg noticed them leaving...He stopped Brenda in the hallway...

"Oh Uh Brenda...A word please?" he said..

Brenda sighed..

"What is it?' she asked..

"It's been awhile since you and I got together...Is your uh girlfriend's jacuzzi available heh heh heh!" laughed Lt. Tragg.

Back in our building, we reported our progress to Ms. Yvette..

''We found a good Judge Ms. Yvette."said Sofia.

"Judge Julie Wong...Arraignment is tomorrow at 11:00 AM, right before lunch.... I know you guys will be happy....We got "The Hot Judge" said Bee Bee.

"We found twelve...all PENN LAW STUDENTS and friends of hers....." I said.

"Eleven guys and one girl....I swear, these eleven guys all want to sleep with her...They practically worship the ground she walks on....and the girl is her room-mate on campus." said Kahlil...

"They should make good witnesses...They're true believers...Good job guys..."said Ms. Yvette.

''She could have her pick of at least 11guys who want her and she's tangled up with this Mystery man.."said Bee Bee.

''He's the one she wants...Those other 11 don't matter." said Sofia.

"She's right." said Jade.

It had been quite a day......We had got a judge and located 11 character witnesses...Ms. Yvette and Ms. Brenda had gone down to central booking and talked to our new client, Cassidy Skyler. We were once again ready to begin trying a murder case... The most dramatic and most fun cases. 

We were all at home...

"I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't, or at least mobed somewhere close... THAT MAN IS IN LOVE....In all the years I've known him, He's been a smooth talking ladies man...With two or three women  around he was juggling... I haven't seen that guy since Virginia got out...He is totally enthralled with her... No rumors of any other women...He's over her apartment every night, except the night he plays Poker...He sends her flowers practically every day and is over our new suite more than any other visitor.....He may just marry Virginia..." said Yvette.,...

"Tomorrow we have a hearing at the Legal Ethics Board...Then I'll come by here and talk to Vettie..." said Jetty.

And at City Hall...

''Thanks for waking me up....I would have missed my station...What are you guys  doing here? Don't you get off a few stops down?" asked Assistant District Attorney Rockland Cambridge.

''We have an arraignment this morning...At 11:00...Why don't you join us for Breakfast...It'll wake you up." said Yvette..

"Damn good idea,." said Rockland.

The courthouse had a beautiful new stylish cafeteria that we sometimes ate at when we had a court appearence.. The best thing about it.. Lt. Tragg didn't eat here.

"The four of us have been together since Law School and the three of you go back as far as High School...And look at us now.. Married, Next door neighbors and working for the same law firm... I never could have imagined this." I said as we got our breakfast...

"You know what? Nobody I talk to ,who knew us all in Law School is surprised..  Not by us being married...They all thought we were couples even before we officially were..and they aren't surprised our homes are next door to each other or that we work at the same law firm."said Bee Bee.

" It almost didn't happen...I had an offer in Georgetown and Bee had one in D.C." said Sofia

"I had one in  Denver, Colorado and the Public Defender's Office here in Philadelphia. I didn't find either one attractive." said Kahlil..

Our breakfasts of French Toast, Eggs, Hash Browns and Bacon arrived..

So did Hot Coffees which all of us could use.

"You have an arraignment today huh? For that girl murdered on that boat...who's Your Judge?" asked Rockland.

"Julie Wong.... Did you know Gary and I were on that cruise.?  They say it happened at night..We didn't see or hear a thing." said Yvette..

"I'll bet you didn't." laughed Rockland slyly....

"Rocklandddddddd!" said Yvette, blushing...

Jade smiled.

It was 10:00 AM.

We had an arraignment in an hour.
