THE OFFICE OF ATTORNEY LUCAS FUENTES

"Good Work Bull... These guys are pretty astute...At least Three of them are IVY League Attorneys...All are good.. I remember Olivia and her niece Beverly and Nelson East when they were Public Defenders...I always thought they were working below themselves...but I see Olivia, had a long range plan...She started her own law firm and pulled those two in...The Husband and Mrs. Boyd and Mrs. Billips came later.. I understand the office manager is Olivia's sister or something? She's the mother of Ms. West."asked  Lucas Fuentes..

''No...she is Olivia's older brother's Baby Mama...Which explains how Beverly is her niece.. She's her brother's daughter...The mother is uh still a family friend and works for them..."said Investigator and former Homicide detective William "Bull" Bailey.

"How are we with electronic surveilience?" asked Lucas Fuentes..

"Not good...They have the entire property swept by professionals three, four times a week...They communicate with Brooke through a Portal, which we can't get up on and I think they use a burner phone with a blocked number to communicate with her.. Right now, Brooke has dropped out of sight..I have no idea where she is.. I do have an operative watching the house..

During the day, they rarely leave...There is a building adjacent to their office duplex...

There is a huge Law Library in there...

The Three Girls, Beverly West, Josie Boyd and Bresha Billips spend their days  in there...

And also in there is some kind of all purpose Media Room..

Nelson East and Olivia Bennett-Alexander spend their time in there most of the day...

The Husband, Donnie Ray spends his days at the Medical Examiner's Office..

and over at Robbery-Homicide and Homicide researching my old records concerning the case.

At night , they have dinner there I suppose ...In addition to her staff and their spouses..

They've had dinner guests every night...

Tuesday Night for instance...

The Attorneys who beat Brooke and her partner the first time, Yvette Jones-Lockwood, her husband, Gary, an investigator for the D.A.'s office, Attorneys Keith Jones,Beatrice Evans-Jones, his wife.. Sofia Garcia-Ahmed, her husband, Kahlil Ahmed, Investigator, Jade Lee and her husband, Robbery-Homicide Detective, Danny Ho and office manager, disbarred Attorney and recently released Victoria Shaw, now working as an Office Manager and Consultant for Yvette Jones and Judge Jetty Dukes were entertained for dinner there.. 

Did I mention they live right across the street 

Wednesday Night-

They entertained their cousin, Attorney Kayla Bennett-St Jacques, also an attorney and her husband, Attorney Ray St. Jacques  and Attorneys, Dabnis and Jasmine Coley. Jessica Sanchez-Burrows, her husband, Charles Burrows and two other attorney friends, Zoey and Lem Easter..  With the exception of the Easters, all of these people either live across the street on down the street..They are a very tigh knit group...

They hang out at these places..Josie's Bar and Grille, Aqua Bar, Stoley's Lounge and the Mermaid Crab Tavern.

In addition to her law firm, Olivia owns a piece of a Bus Company...

which transports them to all of these drinking establishments ,keeping them from getting DUI's..

They all also hang out at a Skating Rink on weekends in Bayside....." said William "Bull" Bailey.

"You are nothing if not thorough Bull. Olivia is a fascinating woman...

Good Looking, Intelligent..She has put together a very good team and she has a very good network of attorneys with a wealth of knowledge around her...Last year when she got sued , It was those other attorneys who got her off..A brilliant strategy...She owns a piece of a bus company...Myyy goodness.. If she wasn't married already and I wasn't married... I'd marry her myself..I'm going to keep her in mind when I'm District Attorney.. She can definitely be used.. But right now I have to concentrate on beating her in court, showing her who's the boss."laughed Lucas Fuentes.

"Yeah." laughed William "Bull" Bailey.

II-

 At the Holiday Inn in Cherry Hill..

For the Third Straight Night, Brooke has been kept company by her ex-Husband, Sean Marks..They've had dinner and then retreated to her room..

"I've taken the next two days off.." said Sean Marks.

"Oh wowwww...Really?  "said Brooke.

"I want to spend the next two days and the whole weekend with you." he whispered.

"REALLY??" she said, elated..

Since that first night together...He came by like clock work every night with food.. Sometimes Take Out Chinese..

Other times

Burgers

Pizza

or tonight, Hot Dogs from Jakes..

She liked the company....

He helped her stay busy by helping her with her case, looking over transcripts and what not..

During the day

 She kept close contact via Portal with her attorneys, Olivia, Beverly, Nelson, Josie , Bresha, and myself. talking to each of us individually and as a group

She was pleased with the work we were doing for her defense...

She told Sean..."You Know...I've only lost two cases and they were to two very ,very good groups of Attorneys...No matter what happens next...I could never ever think of any of  them as anything but my dearest friends."said Brooke.

"It's always good to have friends Brooke...I'm your friend....I never stopped being your friend, even after we got divorced."said Sean Marks.

''Why did we get divorced?"asked Brooke, running her finger across Sean's lips.

"Because we were young..and immature and we worried about what people said and thought about us..and our careers....None of that mattered...None of it."whispered Sean.

"All that ever mattered is how we feel about each other."said Brooke.

''That's right." he said..

They kissed......

"UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!" she moaned..

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH BROOKE!" he moaned..

He slowly slipped her panties down...

"OHHHHHHHHH SEAN I AM SOOOOO WET!!!!" she moaned..as he lifted her up and entered her...

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU YEAHHHHHH!" he moaned...He was nearly delirious!

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU WEEEEEEEEEEEE!" she cooed.

He placed her on the bathroom sink, spread her legs open and slowly thrusted inside of her..

"UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM BABYYYYYY!" moaned Sean...

"I've missed you so much Sean.."said Brooke in tears...

"I've missed you...It's been two years since we last saw each other....UMMMMMMMMMMMM, it's all I think about sometimes.." he moaned.

"Really?" she said.

"Oh Yes." he said..

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!"she moaned.

They collapsed on the bed and made sweet sweet love for the next EIGHT TO NINE HOURS!

Olivia and I were alone in the Law Library kissing.. Beverly, Nelson, Josie ,Bresha and their spouses had gone out to lunch today, The first time in two weeks..

"Ouu Donnie Ray, all this kissing is making me want to go upstairs, take all my clothes off and have a quickie..but I know I couldn't trust you for a quickie..We'd never come back downstairs and there is soo much work to be done."said Olivia..

''Sure, let's go have a quickie." I said..

"No, not today...too much needs to be done.. Tonight, I promise, I'll make it up to you.." she said.

and in our kitchen as usual..Rockland and Alfreda had already taken advantage of the fact that practically everyone had left for lunch and

 neither Olivia nor I was around..

They were kissing and fondling each other to the point of where Rockland couldn't control himself.

He had slipped her panties down, slipped her dress up 

and had her on the sink counter plowing away into her...

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUU ALFREDA...I CAN'T CONTROL MYSELF WHEN I'M AROUND YOU!!" he moaned.

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU YOU NASTY DOG...OUUUUUUUUUUUU

ALLLL BIG AND HARD...UMMMMMMMMMMMM!" she moaned as they did have a quickie..

After they were done...Alfreda cleaned the sink counter dilligently with Comet cleanser and hot water..

THAT SAME AFTERNOON- SAM MOTHER'S DINER

"I haven't been in here in Weeks."said Beverly...

"You know why...We were avoiding Lt. Tragg."said Nelson..

"Yeah ,well I'm getting tired of avoiding him all the time.."said Josie.

"Hey look, peace and peace of mind is everything."said Paris.

"You may be right..but we ought to be able to have peace where ever we go.."said Bresha.

"That's right."said Tony..

"Nice to hang out with you again Nat."said Kayla.

"The trial is about to begin soon..I know your girl Brooke will be happy when it's all over and done with."said Jazzy.

"Yeah , she will...She's doing fine right now..She's getting her bottoms warmed..."laughed Natalie..

"You know, when we talk to her on the Portal...I can sense a calm in her...a breeziness...I thought she might be doing the Hibbity Bibbity...and doing it well."said Beverly ,laughing..

"Girrrrrrrrrrrrl"said Natalie ,high fiving Beverly... "I don't know if you know it or not..but she was married...to a brother....and she told me...HE PUT IT DOWN LIKE NO OTHER!!!!!  She said he used to have her head spinning, wondering what had just happened to her."said Natalie.

"So how come they're not together?" asked Jazzy...

"The Race thing.. Her white girlfriends didn't dig him and her family members weren't too happy about it either as well as people she worked with....The very people who are throwing her under the bus right now..That racist ass Bull Bailey....He was mad because he was trying to get in her panties ,just like Lt. Tragg was and she wasn't haven't it...Her and Sean broke up, but remained friends...Kept sleeping together until they , they just stopped. That was about two years ago...

Me and her became friends and partners....The same people didn't like it..but Brooke didn't care..That's what I like about her...She took me under her wing and helped me out....

Any way...I told her she needed to get laid...and she took my advice.. her ex has practically been living at that hotel with her... He's an Attorney over at the Federal Building...His name is Sean Marks.Nice guy."said Natalie.

"I know him!!!  He and My Husband are friends..."said Kayla.

"If he makes her happy, that's all that matters."said Josie.

''She'll be calm and collect for court...I know I always am.."said Nelson..

Paris, Tony and Bresha cracked up laughing.....looking at Beverly...

Beverly blushed something crazy...

Our Burgers, Onion Rings, Fries and Milk shakes arrived at our table..

Just as Dabnis, Ray, Keith ,Bee Bee, Sofia and Kahlil were arriving and sitting with us..

"Hey Baby!"said Dabnis,

Kissing Jazzy..

"Ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuu"said Jazzy, who felt a slight tingle...

"How's My Boo Boo this afternoon?" said Ray, 

Kissing Kayla..

"Your Boo Boo is fine..."said Kayla.

"Heyy everybody...Those Burgers look good.."said Keith..

"Get me one Honey.."said Bee Bee.

"Ummmmmmmmmm"moaned Sofia..

"Ohhhhhhhhhh My Goddd...Hi Nat.."said Kahlil..

"Hey...You'd better order your food before you have an orgasm.." she laughed...

Everybody was enjoying their food and talking when... Both Lt. Tragg and Bull Bailey walked in together and of course they stopped at their tables..

"Oh Look, Olivia and Yvette's Junior Partners with no sign of the Boss Ladies...Where are they today?" he asked..

They all ignored him and continued eating...and talking as if he wasn't there.

"I BELIEVE I ASKED YOU A DAMN QUESTION!" he bellowed..

They still ignored him and carried on their conversations....

He was as red as a beat!

"THE LIEUTENANT HERE ASKED YOU SOME QUESTIONS...NOW WE WANT SOME ANSWERS OR ALL OF YOU ARE GOING DOWNTOWN!" Bellowed Bull Bailey..It was an empy threat and he knew it!

They all still ignored them and continued eating...It was if they weren't there.. These were all attorneys, They knew that neither of these men could arrest them or hold them on anything.. And they knew they didn't have to answer any questions.

Bull turned his attention to Natalie.

"Where is Brooke?" he asked quietly...Trying another tactic...

"I wouldn't tell you if I knew.." she said quietly and continued eating..

"Look I need to talk to her ,straighten some things out...There is no need for her to go to jail behind this..Nobody wants to see that , There is a way out.. a simple Mea culpa." he whispered...

"You can talk to her in court next week and trust me...She's not going to jail...and she's not going to be disbarred...Not even for a day."said Natalie. who continued eating and talking with the rest of us...

"Beverly, where is your aunt? We need to talk to her."said Lt. Tragg.

"YOU DON'T NEED TO TALK TO HER ABOUT ANYTHING!!! NEITHER DOES YOUR FRIEND!

Like Natalie said, She'll be in court next week." said Beverly, who then passed Nelson her credit card.

"This was my treat baby!" she said and kissed him softly,,

"You're so good to me."said Nelson ,kissing her...

"I knowwwwww!" laughed Beverly...

She kissed him passionately.....

Lt. Tragg stood there staring balefully...

"I sure don't miss this..Him breathing down our backs. It's why I hardly come in here."said Bresha.

''We gotta find a new place to eat."said her husband Tony.

"Yeah, I can't stand this.I can't stand him. "said Josie..

"Me neither." said Paris as one by one, they paid their bills...

"At least the Burgers were worth it."said Keith Jones.

"Yeah."said Bee Bee.

"I sure don't miss this..It's why I hardly come in here."said Sofia.

"Me Neither" grumbled Kahlil.

"See ya later Nat...It was nice while it lasted."said Kayla.

"Yeah Nat...Next time we'll hang out with you around your way."said Ray

"Bye Nat.." said Jazzy, hugging her..

"See ya Jazmataz...It was nice."said Natalie..

"If either one of these knuckleheads give you a problem...Give me a call..I've sued them before..I'll sue em again." said Dabnis..

"Byeeee Nat." said Beverly, hugging her and kissing her cheek..

"Bye Bev, give your Auntie my warmest regards."said Natalie.

After everyone had left..Natalie remained behind and ordered herself another cup of coffee..

"They're gone now...I need to talk to Brooke... She should take this deal...It's a good deal..It's a little Mea Culpa...She goes on TV , says she made a mistake..She might not even get disbarred...We might recommend a censure..you know a slight disciplinary action..Nobody goes to jail...No harm, no foul.What do ya say huh?" asked Bull Bailey softly...

"Disbarment or Censure....What a choice!!! It would still be a black mark or blemish on her otherwise sterling record and for what? So You and your buddy, Mr. Wanna be District Attorney don't have a Blemish on YOUR RECORDS??? I don't blame her for fighting this...If she's not guilty ,why should she lie?  I'm not telling her anything..When you see her in court on Monday...YOU CAN TELL HER..."said Natalie.

"LISTEN DON'T GET SMART" said Lt. Tragg, grabbing her arm. "IT'S A GOOD DEAL!!" he said.

"Bite me!" said Natalie who poured her cup of coffee into his lap...

"WOOOOOOOOAHHHHHH! YEOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!" he screamed in excrutiating pain as Natalie tossed a couple of dollars on the table...The Hot Steam from the coffee rising from his trousers made her laugh a little..

"WOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!"he yelled, jumping up and down...

The other patrons roared with laughter...

Natalie walked out and headed towards her car and drove off..

III-

Beverly howled with laughter...

"GIRRRRRLL YOU SO CRAZY...YOU HAVEN'T CHANGED A BIT SINCE HIGH SCHOOL!" she laughed..

"You poured a cup of hot steaming coffee into Lt. Tragg's lap...Oh my god...I know he's fit to be tied..."laughed Nelson..

"And after he leaves your place...He'll be on his way here.."said Olivia.

"He knows you are here....There is a car across the street...It's been watching us for a couple of weeks..Reason I know is...All of our friends and neighbors park their cars in their garages...So when we see a car on the street just sitting, tinted windows...

We know it's the police or a P.I.   I ran the tags...That's a federal car, care of your friend and mines, William "Bull" Bailey...and since he's a friend of Lt. Tragg's he's already reported that you came here...They watch this house like a hawk...They follow me every morning when I go out...They watch Olivia and the girls...Where they shop, where thy eat...They've probably tapped our lines , trying to find out who we talk to.."I said.

"So they've seen everyone who has come and gone  from here huh?" asked Natalie.

"Yupper...We are used to this..We have this place swept by professionals 3-4 times a week.."said Josie.

''And we talk to Brooke through Portal and Burner phone. They don't know our strategy or anything...Just where we go and who comes over here."said Bresha.

"How did you get away with spilling coffee in his lap?" asked Alfreda.

"I wouldn't tell Bill Bailey what he wanted to know about Brooke and Lt. Tragg grabbed my arm and my coffee cup slipped and it spilled in his lap...You should have seen him hopping around like a chicken with his head cut off..."said Natalie..

"Oh Look, Lt. Tragg and William "Bull" Bailey are at our door."said Olivia.

"Look how Lt. Tragg is looking around....We have him on C&D...if he's here too long, Sherrif's Deputies will arrest him..."said Beverly...

''We should let him stay out there." said Bresha.

"Nah let em in Alfreda...I want to hear what Bull Bailey has to say."said Olivia.

Alfreda opened the door...

"Good Afternoon Mrs. Cambridge...I would like a word with Olivia Bennett-Alexander if she is not too busy." said Bull Bailey courteously.

Alfreda said nothing, She walked them into our conference room...

William "Bull" Bailey looked around... "Olivia...I'm glad you're all here.." he said.

"I knew you'd be around sooner or later."said Olivia.

"I figured the folks in your car across the street that's been watching us for two weeks have informed you that Brooke isn' t here." I said,.

''Where is she?" demanded Lt. Tragg.

"She's On the Moon!" remarked Beverly...

"Honey Bun Cool it!" said Nelson..

Josie snickered...She thought what Beverly said was funny

So did Bresha...

"It won't be so funny when all of you are spending the weekend in the Cooler.."snarled Lt. Tragg.

"Relax Artie....Now look Olivia.Let's turn the temperature down a little bit..You guys just finished a series of trials with her and Natalie...They took you and your guys to the well and back, but I must say you persevered.. You think Brooke and Natalie are tough.....Lucas Fuentes is a whole nother dimension. You're not eager to go right back into court are you? Now here is the deal...Brooke confesses,makes a public apology...a Mea Culpa ,if you will. She receives no jail time...None at all.. Of course ,realistically speaking she might be disbarred and she might not...Considering she has a sterling reputation...She might just get censured...I know for a fact you've helped several disbarred attorneys get their license to practice back...This is a good deal...She should take it..A Mea Culpa if you will." said Bull Bailey...

Natalie sucked her teeth in disgust...

"You want my client to admit to something she did not do...and risk getting disbarred or censured...neither one is good on an attorney's record..on the chance that if disbarred ,I can get her license to practice back...What if I can't? She's lost her job, either way...Disbarment or not. and with a censure on her record it would be hard for her to get a job with a good firm...They don't tend to like that...How is that a good deal for her??.. The Answer is NO!  She's not taking the deal, We are going to court and we are going to fight this. I'm not afraid of Lucas Fuentes...He should be afraid of me!"said Olivia.

"Olivia don't be stubborn. This is a good deal.."said Lt. Tragg.

"Excuse Me Lt. Tragg...This has absolutely nothing to do with you...Why are you here?"asked Olivia.

"At least present it to her...Let HER MAKE THE DECISION!!! A trial will be detrimental to all." said Bull Bailey...

"The Deal was already presented to her when I represented her at arraignment. And she said flatly NO! I think a trial would be detrimental to YOU AND FUENTES!"said Beverly,.

."She wants to go to trial and that's what we intend to do." said Josie.

"NO DEAL!" said Bresha.

"NO DEAL, WE GO TO COURT!" said Nelson.

"NOBODY ASKED THE JUNIOR PARTNERS WHAT THEY THOUGHT!" said Lt. Tragg.

"Why are you all up in this? This has nothing to do with you? NOBODY ASKED YOU ANYTHING!" said Bresha.. It was the second time Lt. Tragg had been asked this.

"OLIVIA!!!! MUZZLE THEM!" said Lt. Tragg.

"My associates speak for me and I speak with full authority for Brooke...NO DEAL! We are going to trial."said Olivia.

"I believe this conversation is over.  Gentlemen! " said Nelson with an edginess I had never heard before.

Alfreda showed them both the door..

"So gotdamn stubborn....So gotdamn stubborn and totally unreasonable..TOTALLY UNREASONABLE!!!" grumbled Bull Bailey.

"HARPIE!" Lt. Tragg grumbled, speaking of Alfreda.

"Donnie Ray, I got the impression that that guy William "Bull" Bailey was practically pleading with us to make that deal, Like he doesn't want to go to trial."said Bresha.

''You know Bree, you have a very good point..It's almost like HE and he alone fears a court battle.."I said.

"You know I was thinking that...He was trying to sell it too hard..."said Olivia.

"You haven't heard from Lucas Fuentes at all...He wants to prosecute this case...So that it can look like he's tough but fair...Like he'll prosecute his own people to the fullest if they do wrong. Nice way to cover up his culpability huh?" said Natalie.

"Where were you back when all this was happening? Did you know Brooke?" asked Josie.

"I was still in the Public Defender's Office...I knew her, to speak and all..but we weren't tight yet....I came over to the District Attorney's Office a year later.. Brooke and I worked a case together, then another...We liked each other's style..We complimented each other..So soon we just started working together, Shopping for shoes together, Talking, Bar hopping and soon we were best buds.. This was after this case. I never liked Fuentes....He was our supervisor..I clapped and whistled when he left..I never liked Him, Bull Bailey or Lt. Tragg...and they didn't like me either, but they both liked Brooke and they both tried to sleep with her.. She wasn't interested in either of them."said Natalie.

"He was trying to sweeten the deal saying that she might not get disbarred and if she did she could get her license back in under two years,,,That's a long two years with no license and no job...plus he can't promise that that's how the deal would go down."said Nelson.

"I had two clients who were offered so called "Sweet deals" by those same two, Bull Bailey and Luis Fuentes when I was a Public defender.  I advised them both  not to take it..but they did...and then the rug was pulled from under both of them...Bull Bailey got Luis Fuentes to float these deals.. 

"Auntay helped me get one of their sentences reversed.. the other guy may still be in jail or just getting out...He wrote to me from prison...He told me that he wished he hadn't taken that deal...He wished he had listened to me." said Beverly.

"No deals...We go to court."said Bresha.
