Tickled Pink.

 "How'd you sleep Justin?" asked Olivia..

"Oh just great, better than I had hoped." said Attorney Justin Brown , who was hiring us as consultants on his latest case...

"We try to take care of our guests." said Beverly, smiling sweetly...

"Okay...come and get it..eat up everybody." said Alfreda.

as Pancakes, Hash browns and sausage were served to everybody..

"You two are mother and daughter....So that makes Olivia, your sister right?" asked Justin..

"Nooooooooooooo that makes Olivia's older brother, Beverly's father....As you can see, we aren't together...I'm married to Mr. Cambridge, but Olivia is my daughter's Aunt, her favorite aunt..."explained Alfreda, marveling at how much food Justin could put away..

"I can't tell you how many times we have had to explain that...Alfreda is like my big sister though...I love her dearly." said Olivia..

Beverly smiled sweetly....

Justin thought she was a fox....

He thought her husband, Nelson was the luckiest man alive...to have her..

He thought Josie and Bresha were cutie pies too!   I saw him checking them both out as he ate his food.

"After we all meet with Roma today...I'm going to check out her alibi..." I said..

"I've called her...I told her to meet us in front of the Bridge Building at 10:00 AM...She is tickled pink that you guys are on her defense team..."laughed Justin...

At SAM MOTHER'S DINER-

One person who wasn't tickled pink about the situation was Lt. Tragg.. He couldn't believe this Public Defender...He wasn't yet aware that Justin Brown was no longer a Public Defender , but with a private law firm.. was so savy...Had arraigned Roma Venison and gotten her released so fast without him knowing.. He was livid that she was not at her house and that the GPS on her phone had been disabled.

He didn't know where she presently was... and couldn't find the lawyer , Justin Brown either..

He was completely in the dark about the case, until the next hearing...

He ordered another cup of coffee and drank it down... Furious about the sudden turn of events.. It was almost as if some other people were involved...known for "dirty tricks" like this.. but he had just finished another unrewarding case with them , he thought.

II-

We all met outside of the Bridge Building..

"Good Morning....I'm Roma Venision, pleased to meet you all...Roma said.

"Hello...I'm Olivia Bennett-Alexander......

"This is my niece, Attorney Beverly West -East

"Pleased to meet you.." said Beverly...

"Her husband, Associate Attorney, Nelson East..

"Pleased to meet you." said Nelson.

"Associate Attorney, Josie Boyd.

"Pleased to meet you.." said Josie.

"Associate Attorney  Bresha Billips.

"Pleased to meet you..." said Bresha..

"And my husband, Donnie Ray, our investigator..." said Olivia.

"Good Morning." I said.

"Everything I need... You know , when you said you knew them...I thought you were just trying to impress me..Turns out you were as good as your word.."said Roma to Justin..

Justin beamed with pride.

We took the elevator up to Yvette's floor.....

We all arrived at Yvette's suite...

"Good Morning...You can all go right in the conference room guys...Get comfortable. I'll have coffee ready for you in a few minutes..." said Virginia, their office manager..

Beverly, Nelson, Josie and Bresha stopped in the offices to visit our friends..

"Heyyy guys" said Keith Jones, who was looking over some case files.

Next door, Sofia Garcia-Ahmed was busy working hard...

She smiled and looked up at us...

"Hi guys...Boss Lady told us you were coming.. Make yourselves comfortable." she said.

Next door to her was Bee Bee Evans Jones..

She smiled... "Hiii guys...Happy to have you here."she said..

and next door Kahlil and Jade were going over some notes...

''Hey guys...the grind continues huh?" said Kahlil..

He was looking over some case files with Jade.

"Hi everybody!" said Jade.

We all settled into the conference room...

''Thanks for letting us use your conference room Vettie.."said Olivia.

"Oh hush up girl, You know you're always welcome." said Yvette Jones Lockwood..

Virginia brought coffees for everyone and churros...

 

"Awwwww thank youuu." said Olivia.

 

"You know how to treat your guests Vettie." I said.

''You all aren't guests...You're family!" said Yvette.

"Awwwww thank youuu." said Beverly.

"Thank You Ms. Yvette." said Nelson.

"Awwwww thank youuu." said Josie.

"Awwwww thank youuu." said Bresha.

"Thank you...this is very nice.." said Justin.

"I am tickled pink to have you guys part of my defense team... As I've told you... My daughter and I were at that retaurant Gazpachos having a late dinner..She dropped me off at the house and when I got there the front door was wide open...and my husband was laying of the floor in the foyer in a pool of blood.. apparently he had been shot twice.." said Roma.

"There was no sign of robbery...Nothing was stolen?" asked Olivia.

"Nothing that I know of... It seems as though the killer walked in and just shot my husband and walked away..." said Roma.

"I have the police report and the autopsy report right here..None of the neighbors heard or saw a thing..and nothing was stolen...Nothing at all " said Justin...who was a very sharp attorney..

Josie passed Roma a smartphone..

"From now until the trial is over, you will cease to use your regular phone...put it on the charger and disable the GPS." she said.

"Do not call our business numbers or our personal phone numbers...Do not call Justin's business or personal phone numbers either.....Here is the number to that phone..It is a burner phone, with a blocked number, which means it can't be traced...We are to be contacted only by this number..Only share this number with your daughter."said Nelson...

Roma Venison smiled.."You guys are the truth...You don't take any chances do you?" she said.

"That's why we win cases.." said Olivia.

Bresha passed her a Portal..... ''We will be giving you updates on the progress of your case by using this.. You can meet with us virtually and keep the low profile..You don't have to come out of your hotel to travel to our offices.." she said.

Roma smiled.  "You guys are quite efficient..I see why you win so many cases... I am tickled pink to be being defended by you."laughed  Roma.

For the next few days...We worked hard with Justin on this case..

Justin Brown was soaking up what he was getting from  Olivia's "University"

Beverly, so pretty, such a nice body, smelling so good was his first teacher...

"We use our laptops to research the laws pertaining to this type of case..A Capital Murder case...Then naturally, we find the book with the law in it we need and we write it down..." she explained..

He imagined she must drive her husband, Nelson insane in the bedroom... He had heard that Nelson had been her aunt's right hand man at the Public Defender's office until Beverly arrived a year later, fresh from law school and it was game over for him..He could certainly understand.

He was a good student and a quick study....

"We use our laptops and the internet to research old cases , like cases and see if there are any simularities..We write down any simularities." said Josie.. 

She had huge breasts that caught your attention immediately...She was pretty and like Beverly , she smelled great, had soft skin.. He felt like a fox in the Hen House..

Bresha was younger than him....but she had an incredible body...Nice legs...Just like Beverly and Josie..

"We use our laptops to look up predicates  and in your case predicates in Capital Cases.. A case like yours is going to call for a lot of counter arguments.We always have them...They kind of knock the Prosecutor off their groove."Bresha laughed.

He tried hard to hide the huge erection he had...just being in their presence...

Being in the Media room with Nelson, Olivia and Donnie Ray was more sobering.

"As I told you yesterday... Your case is different..We have defended Murder suspects, but rarely ones they were determined to give a death sentence to if convicted.. This is a special case..Your client is high profile.. The State and the court of Public opinion very much wants to burn her...If convicted your client has two alternatives..Death or Life no parole."explained Nelson.

"She loses either way."said Jason, who liked Nelson...He was cool people , who lucked up in a dream situation, married to and working with, hell living with the girl of his dreams. He hoped that he too could one day meet a nice girl...A NICE GIRL!.Live with her like that!

"We are going to try to make sure that he doesn't lose at all...We need to realize that before we even get at the jurors..They are going to exclude any one who is iffy about imposing a death sentence.. They want a hanging jury...So we have to start from there."explained Olivia..  

Olivia was an entrancing woman herself, Like Beverly, She was very pretty, smelled great with a sexy and petite body....soft skin and a sexy whisper of a voice.. "We want independent thinkers among the bunch...People who aren't so quick to rush to judgement." said Olivia.

''I'm going to recanvass the crime scene..and check out Roma's alibi..I'm sure Lt. Tragg completely missed that." I said.

Donnie Ray dressed in Thousand dollar tailored suits and wore spit shine five hundred dollar imported Italian shoes...but he still had that cop aura around him...thought Justin Brown.. still, he liked him, he was cool people..

Olivia had a luxury she had seldom had to date.. Working with four very capable attorneys besides herself and having an investigator... This was a dream situation..

We all broke for lunch..

"Well I certainly learned a lot these past few days....I really feel good about this case." said Justin Brown.

''We  are going to do everything we can to help you save her.."said Beverly.

"Because of her wealth and who she's married to.She's being kicked around like a political football in the regular media and social media."said Nelson.

"I wonder who the ADA is going to be on this one.?."asked Josie.

" I don't know...but just wait until they find out that we are on this case."said Bresha.

"Lt. Tragg's head is going to explode.. He hasn't seen us for awhile." I said.

Olivia put the food order in..

Chinese Food from Chinese Bob's arrived... We were all famished from working all morning on the case.. We all chowed down...

 

''Mmmmmm this is good...Good hot food" said Olivia.

 

"Yes, and it came just in time too!" I said.

"I know ...." agreed Beverly...

" I can't disagree with that." said Nelson, chowing down..

"Me neither.." said Josie, smiling.

"We are almost finished...We don't have much more to do today..." said Bresha.

"I'll be in there to clean up after you guys finish." said Alfreda.

"You don't have to do that Ma..Nelson and I will clean up."said Beverly...

''Awwwww thanks baby!" said Alfreda.

"Do you need me to help?" asked Justin...

"No that's alright...We got it!" said Nelson..

"Yeah, we got it." said Beverly, smiling sweetly...

Olivia looked at both of them and just smiled a knowing smile...

 Everybody had left for the day,  Beverly and Nelson were cleaning up the law library...It took them no time at all to refile everything and empty the trash and wipe down the tables used....

Now they were kissing passionately...

"Ummmmmmmmmm you feel soo good husband..."said Beverly...

"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh Beverly, so do you....You're driving me crazy.." moaned Nelson..

They stood in a corner in the back, kissing like two teenagers....

Justin had gone for a walk around the neighborhood.....

He saw the train come to a stop and watched all of the people get off..People he had seen earlier in the week.. 

 

They all waved.....Some like Natalie, David, Brooke, Sean, Zoey and Lem stayed on the train...They were getting off at the next station..

Everyone else got  off at this station and walked home..

He watched Husbands and Wives reunited after a hard days work...All going home..

 

 

He watched them all go to their homes..
