Bad Doctor, Part 1

A rainy day in Philly....So what else is new this year?  I was driving my wife,Sepia to the hospital...It was as they say, GO TIME!!  She was due to deliver the baby, a day ago...but nothing happened...Dr. Meadows, called me and told me to bring her to the hospital anyway...because they might have to induce labor...
Me? I'm Kevin Morris, Private Investigator at times...Owner of my own business, Morris Communications most other times...Today...I'm Sepia's husband, driving her to the hospital on wet, rainy Philadelphia streets and just days or hours away from being a first time father...

The rain was pouring....I looked over at Sepia....

''You excited?" I asked.

"Of course I am...A little scared too!" she said.

"Me too...I'm both, but I'm sure we'll be alright." I said and smiled..

The night before..I had been in Josies knocking back a couple of beers with Gus ,the bartender and my friend, Clerow, himself a father of two little girls..

"Kid, when is that baby coming?...Sepia's been pregnant for over a minute now."said Gus..

"It was due today ,believe it or not." I laughed...

''TODAY?? and you're in here?" said Clerow..

''Sepia ordered me to go out...I've been up under her like 24/7 since she got pregnant....and besides...She's got my cell phone on speed dial...if she needs me." I said.

Clerow and Gus looked at me and laughed...

At long last we drove up to the hospital...I parked...and Sepia got out of the car...I put my umbrella over her and walked her into the hospital...She looked at me and smiled..

"Kevin...your hands are shaking." she said.

"Nah! I'm fine...." I said..

"No you're not....It's okay lover...I'm nervous too...." she said.

I had faced armed killers without batting an eye....and here I was shaking like a leaf on the eve of my baby's birth..Go figure.

II-

I got Sepia situated in her room and I leaned down and listened to her stomach....She rubbed my head gently and smiled at me...

"Hear anything?" she asked jokingly....

"Nah, she's snoring."I joked and looked at Sepia and smiled..

"Silly"she said and smacked my arm jokingly...

"Why don't you go and get yourself some coffee and something to eat..."she said.

"You know..that's a good idea...Can I bring you something?" I asked.

"No...I'm good...but I know you haven't eaten a thing." she said.

"Okay...I'll go..." I said.

I looked at her one last time and smiled at her and then headed towards the cafeteria....as I walked down the hall...I noticed that one of the doors to one of the rooms was slightly ajar...

I heard the bed squeaking beyond control.....

I couldn't believe my ears....I thought that this only happened on television.....

The bed in the room was squeaking loudly and I heard the muffled sounds of a man moaning....

"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh sweeet lawdd.....Ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu...Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh babyyyyyyyyyyyyyy...YESSSSSSSSSSSS!

mommy...yesssssssssssssssssssssssssss...."

I peeped inside the room and I saw a man in a lab jacket.....His pants and his boxers down around his ankles.. Going to town inside a young woman...Her skirt was off and her panties were on the floor....Surprisingly, her bra was still on....Her blouse was wrinkled...and I had to be wrong, but she appeared to be asleep!!!

"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh sweeet lawdd.....Ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu...Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh babyyyyyyyyyyyyyy...YESSSSSSSSSSSS!

mommy...yesssssssssssssssssssssssssss.... Sweet Baby...Sweet baby...ohhhhhh,I'm about to commme...ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my goddddddddddddddd!-OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH,ummmmmmmm" he moaned! His eyes were rolling into the back of his head, he was sweating and shaking.

'Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuu...ohhhhhhhhhhh" Strange...Not a sound was coming from the woman.....Maybe he wasn't putting it down as hard as he thought he was I thought and giggled...He heard me!!!

''HEYYYY, WHO IS OUT THERE??" he yelled..

I ducked into an ajoining room...

Whoever he was....He peered out...I heard ruffling, the sound of pants being pulled up and zippers being pulled up...He came to the door..He peered out again and then he straightened his clothes and walked in the opposite direction down the hall...

I thought this only happened on television...These doctors and nurses.....I  mused...I walked past the room and the woman he had been screwing was sound asleep...He had dressed her and laid her in the chair...She was snoring...This seemed odd....She wasn't a nurse!! She appeared to be a patient!!!!Her hair was out of order and while he had put her skirt back on...He hadn't bothered to put her panties back on!!!

Oh well...it was none of my business anyway!

IV-

I went down to the cafeteria and had some breakfast....Scrambled Eggs, Hash Browns, Orange Juice, Toast and coffee...Then I headed back to Sepia's room...She was fast asleep....I sat in the chair by the door...Soon I drifted off to sleep....

My sleep was broken by an argument I heard outside my door...

"Richard...I swear...I'm sick of covering for you....THAT WAS MY PATIENT FOR CRYING OUT LOUD" came a voice....

"I must say, you get the cute ones....Oh my god Reggie...the legs on her and the tits....I wish I had thought to take her bra off and suck on em a little while." came another voice..

"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND??  She woke up and her panties were on the floor....You idiot!!She thinks she got sexually assaulted...She could go the administration or worse...The police...HAVE YOU TAKEN LEAVE OF YOUR SENSES????" came another voice..

"Relax...Relax...She was drugged up ...She didn't know if she was coming or going...Her word won't be credible....When I gave her the anesthesia ,she was out like a light...I doubt if she even remembered my face.." 

"You better hope she didn't...When I got there she was distraught...She said that she didn't take her underwear off and that her blouse wasn't buttoned up right and that her hair was out of sorts...."

"Sooo what? She can't prove a thing, She can't identify me...."

"You think this is a game don't you?  We could get sued behind this...and you could go to jail...Which is where you belong you pervert...You disgust me Richard....If it wasn't for your father's huge award to this hospital I swear I'd-"

"You'd do what? Fire me? Bring me up on charges?? HA!!  My father gives millions to this hospital annually and that means you won't do a damn thing...So don't even go there..."

"You just watch yourself....You hear...No more drugging these women and getting free feels ..."

"Free feels? HAA...Don't be naive....I was gettin the whole load!"

"Did you at least use a condom?"

"Of course..."

"You're an asshole..."

"I'd say I was lucky..."

"One day your luck is going to run out...."

"Yeah, yeah,yeah...but until then...I'm going to keep gettin the best that come though those doors.."

"Can't you get a woman on your own? You know, buy em a drink...A movie?? Dinner? Some sweet talk, the way most NORMAL guys get girls?"

"What's the fun in that??Then they think I like em and want to spend more time with em..."

"You're a creep Richard!"

I looked out the door...I got a good look at the two men talking...I definitely knew who the one guy was...The same guy I had seen humping that woman in the empty bedroom down the corridor..He was blond, about six feet, three inches...athletically built..wore glasses..That was him...The other man, I didn't know...

They had both walked away....I was right...He had drugged that woman and had taken advantage of her...What a bastard...I wondered how many other women he had done this to...

Sepia stirred just then and sat up...

I walked over to her and kissed her stomach....

''Heyyy lover...everything alright?" she asked...

''Yup, Everything is alright" I said.

But it wasn't!!....There was something sinister going on in this hospital...I hoped I didn't have to get in the middle of this...but somehow...I knew I would.  I looked out the window.....It was still raining lightly...
I wondered if that was some kind of sign..
