Bresha's Weekend Getaway

 

 We had been talking about it for awhile...We all took some more  vacation time and got together and rented an Ocean Front Air BNB at the shore...It was huge...Had enough rooms for all of us and then some.. We had used this same place a year ago...

It was big enough to accomodate all of us..and had a huge kitchen and lounging area.

We went down in two buses....

We all hadn't gone away to handle a case in a long time...So this was nice..

 ''This place is huge and sooo nice.."said Ms. Yvette.

 "I spotted a market just down the road...I'm going to rent a car ,so we can get get back and forth..No need in pulling these buses out all the time." said Gary.

 "Yeah we can go and buy some groceries.." said Keith Jones.

 "It's going to take a lot to feed this bunch."laughed Bee Bee.

 "We haven't been out of town on a big case in awhile...This is even nicer."said Sofia..

 "Yup, no case for awhile and we can all hang out." said Kahlil..

 "Yes...Just relax."said Jade..

"It's nice that this year when we went away, it wasn't to do any work..This is just to fellowship and relax.."said Danny Ho.

 "Yes and the best thing about this..We were able to bring you with us Bresha."said Olivia.

"Thank you so much! I can't believe it's this much fun working with you guys.." said our intern, Bresha Williams.

 "It is.We work hard and we play hard too!"said Donnie Ray.

 Kayla and Beverly weren't paying attention to our conversation at all..They were busy unpacking and preparing the rooms they picked..

Along with Josie, Bee Bee and Sofia .

"This is just like Cancun." said Josie...

'Well Almost like Cancun."laughed Bee Bee, who had been there on her honeymoon and then back down there with the gang a month and a half before now..

"It's just nice...All of us together and not working on a case...Just relaxing." said Sofia.

  Meanwhile , Nelson

 and Kayla's husband Gary were busy ogling the bathing suits and lingerie their wives had purchased for the occassion.

 "So this is what we've been missing the entire time we've been at home while you guys were off in Cancun huh?"laughed Jazzy...

 ''Well, we are here now.."laughed her husband, Dabnis, staring out the window..

 "We were so lucky we were able to co-ordinate a one week vacation at the same time...I would have hated to miss this."said Jessica Sanchez- Burrows..

"Yeah, Me too.." said Chip...

Within Hours after going into town to buy groceries....Fried Chicken was frying in the kitchen...

Greens were being prepared..

Candied Yams

Potato salad 

Corn

and Latin dishes

Asian dishes and ribs.

We sat back and relaxed , Ate ,drank ,played cards and listened to music.

This was a nice retreat, a nice getaway for all of us... We had all worked some pretty big cases.. It was nice to get away again this year and hang out without having to work..

SEVEN DAYS LATER-

After a week of  relaxing and hanging out...We got together at a restaurant in the nearby township for our farewell luncheon...Tomorrow we would be returning to Philly and back to work..

"Ohhhhh Can't we stay another week? I don't wanna go back." laughed Jazzy..

"This was sooo much fun.."said Jessica.

''We gotta hit the local bars one last time." said Chip..

"Oh Most definitely..." added Nelson...

"We will for awhile...Then...you and I will uh get away for more...ALONE time.."cooed Beverly while nibbling on Nelson's ear..

''I hear ya Bev....I can't believe I'm saying this...but I'm all partied out." said Bee Bee.

"Look, when we get back, we can relax at home after work the entire week..but while we are away,let's enjoy!" said Keith Jones.

"I'm with Home Slice.."said Kahlil.

''Alright...but I bought one last piece of lingerie that you haven't seen yet...Think about itttttttt!" said Sofia seductively to Kahlil.

Those three couples were only going to stay out a little while.

''We can go out for a little while, huh Hon?" asked Josie.

"Sure....We don't want to be too tired tomorrow when the buses come to pick us and our things up."said Paris.

"So Bree, I'm assuming you're going to hit the clubs in the town with the others tonight too huh?" said Donnie Ray...

''I'm glad you've been enjoying yourself " said Olivia.

"I am, but I'll be turning in early too, I don't want to miss my call from uh my uh "friend" said Bree.

"You've been dating somebody for the past four or five weekends before you agreed to go with us...I've wondered who it was.."said Olivia.

''He's an Attorney in private practice now..but he was once a judge...He said he was the youngest judge to take the bench in Philadelphia History.....We met one of those days when we were in court and we were uh waiting for a ruling...We started talking , We exchanged numbers and  we went out for drinks and then dinner and then we went to Mulberry Street, Bottom of the C. another night and Stoleys another night..He's been a perfect gentleman...He hasn't even tried to kiss me.. I had to kiss him first..His name is funny, for a guy.. It's Pinkney...Pinkney Bach!" said Bresha..

Yvette's face dropped...

OF ALL THE PEOPLE THIS YOUNG GIRL COULD MEET...

"Hmmmmm, she's a bright girl...She won't be fooled easily....I'm gonna cross my fingers...."said Olivia.

ONE WEEK LATER- FRIDAY AFTERNOON!

"Well what a week...We cleared two trials in two days....Nice way to finish up.."said Olivia.

"Yeah...I'm down for some cold drinks " said Donnie Ray...

''Me too!  You're going away for the weekend huh Bree...I can't wait until you return on Monday..You know you've got to dish girl.."joked Beverly...

"Ohhh don't worry, in fact, I may bring him by to meet you guys." said Bree..

''Well, you have a good time Bree and we'll see you on Monday...Me and the missus are going to chill tonight."said Nelson.

"Paris and I are going to get something to eat, but we are going to chill tonight too."said Josie..

"Heyyyyy Bree...your chariot awaits and what a chariot it is.."said Alfreda.

Pinkney drove up in a Black 2021 Bentley Continental...

"Damnnnnn, A Bentley!!!  WOWWWWW!"said Nelson.
