Gone And Going Down

 30th STREET STATION- PHILADELPHIA PA.  24 HOURS LATER

Debbie Jackson, signed herself out of the hospital, packed two suitcases and bought a one way ticket to New York City...

The Beautiful Acela Train arrived on time..

She got on and took a seat...She breathed a sigh of relief  as the train pulled off

and the city of Philadelphia faded into the background of her view as her train sped out!!

AQUA BAR- THAT NIGHT!

It was Thursday Night...Salsa Night at Aqua Bar..The place was packed..

They had two D.J.'s from out of town spinning tonight..

We were all out tonight and so were our friends..

''So Nice to get out after a week of going through cases." I said.

"Yessssss...It feels good just to dance and not have to worry about a preliminary hearing or prepping for a trial." said Bee Bee..

''Don't Celebrate too soon...Next thing you know we'll be caught up in a major case." warned Sofia.

"Mamasita you look so good tonight...I just want to take you home and be on your case." said Kahlil to  Sofia.

Beverly West- East and her husband , Nelson East were out tonight also,

"Ummmm this Salsa and these Beef Tacos are delish.." said Beverly...

"Put that down...They're playing my song. Dance with me!" said Nelson..

"I'm glad the D.J. showed up tonight..Imagine if that comedian took his place ,like what happened in Josie's awhile ago.." said Josie.

"Luckily for us..They don't have live entertainment here...Just guest D.J.'s" said Paris.

Their Intern, Bresha Williams, who we had all worked with and liked had come out tonight and introduced us to her new boyfriend, Tony Billips..

"Bresha, your new friends are Mad Cool..I like all of them.." said Tony Billips..

"Isn't that Judge Jetty Dukes?" asked Kayla...

"Yeah, what is he doing in here?" asked her Husband Ray..

"Looking for the next Ms. Panties or trying to go home with somebody and get in their panties!.."joked Jessica Sanchez-Burrows..

"Can't blame the man for having good tastes, Look at him..He's dancing with three women!!" joked her husband, Chip..

"Old Lech...He's old enough to be most of these girl's fathers or grandfather...When I was an ADA, he was constantly on my ass....Trying to get me to go out with him and come over to his house.."said Jazzy.

"Can't blame him for having good tastes...I always wanted you to come back to my place."said her husband, Dabnis..

"You never asked me. Maybe if you had of asked me, I might of surprised you!" laughed Jazzy, rubbing his hands softly...

Judge Jetty Dukes was dancing with a bevy of young girls...Some indeed young enough to be his grand-daughters..He was having the time of his life...

He didn't see Lt. Tragg enter

or the heavily armed patrolmen that came with him until it was too late...He was surrounded..

"HEYYYYYYY WHAT IS THIS?" he said suddenly..

''Judge Dukes, you're under arrest for the murder of Richard Durbin..You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law..You have the right to an attorney, if you can't afford one, which I seriously doubt..one will be obtained for you...You being an attorney yourself, I'm sure you understand this..Cuff him boys." he said.

"There must be some kind of mistake, I've killed no one." he said as he was handcuffed and walked out..

Placed in one of three police cars

and whisked off into the night.

II-

On this rare night, Ms. Yvette and Gary were not at home screwing each other's brains out...Although that was the plan for later..Tonight found them just finishing up a delicious meal at Bottom Of The C. restaurant, Dollar Bill's joint!

"Ralph...You out did yourself tonight!" said Yvette to chef Ralph Scallion..

"Thank you Ms. Yvette." he said..

"Yeah man, you really put your foot in this meal baby!"said Gary, who was full.

Yvette's phone was ringing...She took the call..

"Hello."

"Ms. Yvette...It's me Keith...I hate to bother you...but the cops just got Jetty Dukes.." I said.

"What?  Hey wait a minute, Aren't you guys at Aqua Bar tonight?" asked Ms. Yvette.

"Yeah...He was in here, Dancing with a lot of young girls..Having a good time and Lt. Tragg and a whole battalion of cops put the bite on him, Charged him with the murder of Richard Durbin."I said.

"It took him a whole two days to come to that wrong conclusion.....Okay..look..Nothing we can do tonight...Enjoy yourselves, relax...Tomorrow morning..Meet me at Central Booking at 8:30 okay?

Thanks for giving me the heads up.." said Ms. Yvette, hanging up..

"What's Up?" asked Gary.

"Lt. Tragg arrested Jetty Dukes, charging him with the murder of that blackmailer, Richard Durbin."said Yvette.

"Really? Wowwww...I heard you say you weren't going to do anything until tomorrow morning."said Gary.

"Nothing I can do about that until Morning..."said Ms. Yvette.

At Aqua Bar...

"What Did Ms. Yvette say?" asked Sofia.

"She said to hang loose...There really is nothing we can do now...It's almost 1:00 am." I said.

"She's Right!"said Bee Bee.

"Let's go home, get some rest.." said Kahlil..

"Yeah, might as well." I said.

Of course, us being young people..We were hot and frisky!!!

There was little sleeping...At least not right away..

"You couldn't wait to get me undressed could you Hot Stuff?" laughed Bee Bee.

"You know it and I certainly know it...Damnnnnnn!" I said ,admiring her curvaceous and sexy body!

"OUUUUUUU, UMMMMPHHHH!!" moaned Bee Bee..as I lifted her and entered her slowly and softly...

"OHHHHHHHH I COULDN'T WAIT FOR YOU TO DO THIS...OUUUUUUUUUU!" Bee Bee moaned.

"AWWWWWWW MYYY GODDDDD!" I moaned.

For the next few HOURS, we were making sweet love....The bed squeaking loudly and our headboard slamming into the wall silently...

and next door at Sofia and Kahlil's house..

"Bee Bee and Keith need a quieter bed...OUUUU PAPI......JUST TAKE ME...UMMMMMMMM TAKE ALL OF YOUR MAMASITA!" moaned Sofia as Kahlil ,inspired by the sounds we were making through the wall parted Sofia's big shapely legs and entered her....

Kahlil was in heaven, sucking Sofia's huge breasts and kissing her from her neck to her lips....

"OHHHH MY GODDDD!!!!OHHHHHHH!" he moaned.

"OUUUUUUUUUUU PAPI ,UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMPH! Moaned Sofia.

sitting on the side of the bed, kissing him and moving up and down on him, first slower and then faster..

"OHHHHHHHH MY GODDDD MAMASITA! , I COULDN'T WAIT!"said Kahlil..

"OUUUUUUUUUU AYE MIOS DIOS PAPI!" Sofia cooed as their bed squeaked out of control and their headboard hit the wall silently...

and next door at our house...

"Ouuuu Sofia and Kahlil need a quieter bed.." moaned Bee Bee.

"So do we!" I said.. Our own bed was squeaking out of control and our headboard was slamming against the wall..

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!" squealed Bee Bee..

"OHHHHHHH MY GOD!!!" I moaned. She felt so good!

And a few doors down at Ms. Yvette and Gary's house..

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!! GARRRRRY!!! OH MY LAWDDDDDD!" Yvette hollered to the top of her lungs...

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! YOU ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY!!" he yelled out..

He held her in his arms and long stroked her in the corner of their bedroom.....

"UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM...OHHHHHHHH MY SWEEET  SWEEEET GIRRRRRLLL!!" he yelled out in pure ecstacy!

"YESSSSSSSSSSSSS  OUUUUUUUUUUU YESSSSS...I'M YOUR SWEET GIRL!!!OUUUUUU!" Yvette screamed to the top of her lungs..

Before they too wound up in the nice new Smart Bed...making sweet sweet love..

While in the Fishbowl , the nickname the Detectives gave to the interrogation room downtown..

Jetty Dukes sat by himself, confused and accused of a murder he did not commit.

III-

SOME NINE HOURS LATER-

Jetty Dukes sat by himself...Not uttering a word as Lt. Tragg stared him down.

He was exercising his right to remain silent..Lt. Tragg was the only one talking..

"You're in a lot of trouble Judge." he said..

He tossed a .40 caliber pistol on the table.

"This is the murder weapon...It passed a ballistics test....Of course it's been bleached down...No prints, no DNA, but I'm certain this weapon creased Richard Durbin's skull and then pumped a full clip into his unconscious body, killing him...we found it in your car Judge , under the seat.

We found this too, in the trunk of your car...four thousand dollars..with some of the victim's blood on it.. I understand he really pissed you off..Blackmailing you and all..What did he have on you?" asked Lt. Tragg.

Jetty Dukes stared blankly at him and said nothing...He had been set up and set up good..He didn't know where the gun or the money came from. He certainly didn't kill Richard Durbin...although he would have liked to..but he didn't know where the guy lived.

"Look you're a  Judge, you know how this works...We got you cold..Physical evidence..and motive..Confess, save the city the cost of a trial..You're a Judge, a first time offender, you were being blackmailed by that piece of shit...I know...I'd want to kill him too! A Judge will understand...You might get less than 12 years..What do you say?" asked Lt. Tragg.

Jetty Dukes looked at him blankly, but said nothing..He had refused a cigarette...He didn't smoke..He had refused coffee...He even refused a candy bar...He simply sat quietly..

"Interview Over Good Lieutenant!" said Yvette..

"Oh For Crying Out Loud!" said a disgusted Lt. Tragg, who felt he was minutes from getting a confession.

"Hi Judge Dukes...We brought you coffee and doughnuts."said Bee Bee.

Who sat a plate of doughnuts down and tumblers of hot steaming coffee for all of us.

"And Bagels and Cream Cheese and Jelly." I said. 

I sat down Bagels and Cream Cheese on the table.

"God Bless you kids." said a famished Jetty Dukes , who began spreading Cream Cheese  and Jelly on the Bagels and munching on the doughnuts..

''We got here as soon as possible."said Sofia.,Who regretted saying that. He had seen the four of us last night in Aqua Bar and he knew we had witnessed him getting arrested hours ago.

Kahlil said nothing..He sat down across from Jetty, before the rest of us took our seats.

Jade Lee sat down too..

"I think that's your cue to leave us with our client."said Jade to Lt. Tragg.

Lt. Tragg shook his head and walked out of the room, slamming the door..He didn't like Jade Lee..He liked Yvette okay....He tolerated us even..But he had a deep seated hatred for Jade Lee, our investigator.

"Vettie I'm being framed, set up...They got a gun..A gun I never seen before, they say it's the murder weapon...They found it in my car...I have no idea how it got there and they found four thousand dollars..The other four thousand of my money that that girl blackmailed me for in the trunk of my car..I have no idea how that got there either..." said Jetty Dukes.

"Shhhhh don't talk in here..I don't put it past them to be listening to everything we say...We are going to get you arraigned as soon as possible..Then we'll talk about the particulars of your case...Meanwhile just chill.."said Yvette.

"That girl, Debbie Jackson, She's the key to all of this...She took that money from me...She can testify to that."said Jetty Dukes.

"She's checked herself out of the hospital and out of the city...Nobody has seen her in two days...I've been turning the city upside down looking for her."said Jade.

"No More Talk...Not until we get you out!" said Yvette..

"Okay Vettie....You're the boss baby!" he said.

''We have a Judge lined up...We'll see you in a few hours." said Bee Bee..

"Once we get you out...We'll go and have breakfast and relax a bit..Then we'll discuss everything."said Sofia.

''And then I'll begin my investigation." said Jade.

Jetty was barely paying attention to what they were saying..He was busy checking out their sexy bodies..

"Vettie you sure keep some sexy women around you! LAWDDD!" he said.

"I keep smart,  competant women around me...Guys too! Lat's go fellas, we got work to do!" said Yvette.

Kahlil and myself followed Yvette out!

Lt. Tragg shook his head..

"Waste of time Yvette..He's guilty as hell."said Lt. Tragg as we left..

Of course he would say that!.

IV-

First District Court..

We were in Judge Percy Reynolds's courtroom.. He was a good judge who knew us and had ruled in our favor a few times.. He was the best judge for this type of prosecution.

The Assistant District Attorney was a woman named Gail Brady...a Blonde and just the type that Lt. Tragg liked.

"Va Va VAVOOOOOM!"he said, getting one look at her.. As attracted to her as he was , he had to remind himself that he now had a girlfriend...A U.S. Attorney named Julie Baisden..

who was giving him all he could ask for in the bed..

and more...He didn't want to blow that...

Jetty Dukes walked in flanked by his attorneys...Yvette, Bee Bee, Sofia, Myself and Kahlil...

Ms. Jade was also with us..

It was quite impressive...Such a defense team...

ADA Gail Brady argued forcefully that despite Jetty Duke's esteemed reputation as a noted Criminal Defense Attorney and Assistant District Attorney as well as a Judge and a member of the Legal Ethics Board. He was charged with the serious crime of First Degree Murder and because of his residences both upstate and at Martha's Vineyard, he was considered a serious flight risk.

Ms. Yvette argued that Judge Dukes desperately wants to get to the bottom of this and has no plans of flight whatsoever..

I brought up the fact that he was having work done on his residence upstate

 and Kahlil argued that he was currently subletting his other residence in Martha's Vineyard.

It wasn't much, but Judge Reynolds bought it!

He set bail at $1000.00 dollars....

Sofia wrote the check and gave it to the bailiff...

"How did you guys know about the work being done on his residences..?" asked Bee Bee..

"I figured any prosecutor worth their salt would say he was a flight risk and bring up his two residences.." I said.

''So we had Jade do a quick property search early this morning before we got here, just to use as a counter argument."said Kahlil.

"It was a longshot, but it turns out it worked." said a smiling Jade Lee.

"That was smart and quick thinking guys." said a beaming Ms. Yvette... "Come on Jetty, let's get out of here." she said.

"Now you're talkin...I need some chow, a hot shower , a shave and a change of clothes."said Jetty...

as we all left..

Lt. Tragg looked on....

"You arrested that Judge,Reynolds.. Charged him falsely with murder two times....I imagine he's not too thrilled  with you....No way he can be on this case...Not with you on it! "said ADA Gail Brady, grabbing her briefcase and walking away...

Lt. Tragg watched her as she walked away...

She was sexy and smart.. He liked a woman who did her homework.
