He's Gone!

"You really think he's dead Kevin?" asked Sepia...concerning the missing Ronnie Moore, who was in the process of buying a house from her and Bonita when he suddenly vanished three weeks ago without a trace.

"I've been doing this a long time babes...and it fits a pattern...He vanished from sight three weeks ago..His apartment looks like he just left for a moment...Mail is piling up...No action on his credit or debit cards...His car is in front of his house , with the door unlocked and his phone on the floor in the backseat... It all fits....Somebody got rid of him..."I said.

"What if he was kidnapped?" asked Sepia.

"He wasn't a man of means....Just regular folk...Kidnap him for what??And anyway...It's been three weeks..As far as we know...No one has asked for anything..He hasn't been to work, he missed his meeting with you and Bonita..

Kayla, his attorney said he missed two court dates....everything points to him being dead... Do you know a Karima Banks?" I asked..

"No...Should I? Who is she?" asked Sepia..

"Just a name that appeared multiple times in his phone...I'm going to look into it.." I said..

I pulled her to me and kissed her passionately for a few minutes...a long slow soft kiss..I unzippered her jeans..

She was wearing a pair of blue lace panties ,much like the pair I found in Ronnie Moore's bedroom yesterday.

"Let's not get ourselves too worked up...I've got to go upstairs and wake Kimmie Cakes up..."said Sepia.. Zipping up her jeans and easing out of my embrace..

"You're right...I'll see you later baby!" I said as I left.

 II-

I next went to the Cyclops Insurance Company....Where I met with my good friend, Bonnie Shay, Insurance Investigator and Attorney...(In New York City, She was once a Public Defender and an Assistant District Attorney before returning to Philadelphia, getting a P.I. License and going to work at Cyclops Insurance as an Investigator..

"Hey Buddy...How you doing?" said Bonnie... "Oh and the new girl, Chelsea...She's great, thanks!" she added.

I had asked her to give Kool Kat's wife, Chelsea a job..she had and she was working out just fine. She had worked with Sepia and Bonita for awhile...but she needed more money than they could pay at the time, so I got her here at Cyclops...I was glad she was working out.

I showed her a photo....

"I'm looking for him..His name is Ronnie Moore...He had a law suit out against you guys..and he has seemed to have dropped out of sight." I said.

"Yeah...I remember him...It wasn't anything big...A small civil suit....A couple of thousand were on the line, but he never showed up.." said Bonnie.

Her husband, Ronnie Shay, an Attorney with the company walked up...He saw the photo and smiled.

"I remember him..He sued us...I was the attorney handling the case..He never showed up...After he missed two court dates..The Judge tossed it out...Sad thing,

Kayla Bennett-St. Jacques, his attorney and I met without him at her job..

We worked out a lucrative settlement that I'm pretty sure he would have agreed with...He was buying a house, he didn't really want to be bogged down..but the guy just vanished.." he said.

"Yes...My wife was waiting for him to make settlement and pick up the keys to his house..He never showed up..and Kayla hired me to try and find him...She was concerned about him being missing."I said..

"Ohhhh wowwww!" said Bonnie..

"I went by his house...Mail was piling up at the front door...bills, all kinds of mail.. His kitchen was dirty..Sink full of dishes.. Bed was unmade...It looked like he must have left it the last time he was seen..

His car was out in front of the house..his phone in the backseat...There were calls from here, from my wife's office, from Kayla and from his job...all unanswered and calls from a woman , a Karima Banks..that nobody seems to know..and that's it.."I said.

"Ohhhhhhh .....I hate to say this...but Kevin...He might be dead!" said Bonnie.
"Ohhhh Wowwww!" said Ronnie.

"That's what I'm thinkin....Thanks anyway guys.." I said as I left.

III-

I went to work and entered the elevator that took me to the sub-basement where Morris Investigations was located..

Here I employed about 39 vetted Administrative Assistants and 5 additional Investigators, all of whom had prior experience in the CIA, Homeland Security and THE KGB..

Thanks to my floor manager, Peeping Tom , we had the most up to date in modern crime fighting software and hardware...Equipment that rivaled the Police and the Feds...

We could hack into their databases and get fingerprint evidence as well as facial recognition evidence..even a little  DNA evidence..

We had none of that in this case..

Instead  I had my guys hack into the  Street Cams and Traffic cams....looking at his house and who came and went up until his disappearence..

We had him and Sepia and Bonita, multiple times , the week before he vanished.. Clerow and Owen Todd, Kayla Bennett-St. Jacques...I excluded them...I knew they had been to see him...

His last known sighting had been on a Wednesday Night, Three weeks ago...he had left the gym in his car, which he parked in front of his apartment complex and he went inside....He came out and walked down the street to the corner store and bought a bag of corn chips and a Coke...

Lockpick Johnson and I had found the eaten bag of corn chips and the half drank can of Coke in his apartment..

Now things got interesting...A Black 2008 or 2009 Ford Fusion drove up behind his car and the street camera went blank for 20 minutes.....When the camera came back on, the car was gone....

That didn't have to mean anything...but it sure looked suspicious..

One of my investigators walked over to me...

"Hey Kev...Did you know that Ronnie Moore owned a small boat that was docked at Penn's Landing?

"Yeah...I've been on it...He took Sepia ,Bonita and I for lunch and a ride on his boat last year around the fourth of July." I said. "Why?"

''Well look at the photos around the docks" he said.
'See anything strange?" he asked..

There sitting in plain view was the exact same 2008 Ford Fusion... We were able to get a license plate number...

It was rented to a "Karima Banks"

Now I needed to get to that boat and more than that...I needed a favor!

The inside of Roger's Yacht was imacculate..

"Hazel, I really appreciate you doing this for me.." I said.

Hazel was Dr. Hazel Baylor, Deputy Coroner, Philadelphia County and Forensic Investigator.
"Always for you Kevin.." she said and smiled.

The Crime Scene Investigators and Forensic specialists inspected the yacht from top to bottom...

"This boat has been bleached down, no DNA or prints...Not even the owner's prints...but this luminol tells a different story" said one man..

"Something Horrible Happened here...Something bad...Look at all this blood splatter on the floor and on the wall.."said another forensic expert...

"And this bathtub....look....."said another..

"OH MY GOD!! KEVIN, WHAT IS THIS ABOUT??" asked Hazel..

"My wife asked me to check up on one of her clients...This man left a deposit for a house he was buying, but didn't show up for settlement..Didn't show up to pick up the keys to the house...The movers came to move his furniture..They got nothing...An attorney friend of mine was representing him in a civil suit..He didn't show up for any of the dates..the suit was dropped.. I stop by his house.. mail from three weeks is piling up..bed unmade, sink full of dishes as if he had just left and was coming back...only it's been three weeks. No movement on his credit cards or debit cards...or bank account...His job said he's been paid twice since he vanished three weeks ago...yet he hasn't bought a thing!!!

I remembered he had this boat, so I came down here and you guys have discovered all of this blood...
I believed he's been murdered!" I said.

"By who? WHY??" asked Hazel..

"I don't know..but I mean to find out..."I said..

I spotted a Fire extinguisher..

"Hey Look at this..It has a dent in it...and the lense cap is not on it.." I said..

"No prints....but when I Luminol it..look!! A Big smudge of blood... Kevin, this may be your murder weapon!" said Hazel, who bagged it and tagged it..

"It makes sense...You wouldn't shoot somebody out here...It would be heard...but you can smash somebody over the head out here...Plus...this looks like there was a lot of anger involved in this..He was hit so hard the lense cap popped off..."I said.

''Here is the lense cap here...where all the blood splatter is...Just what went on in here?" asked Hazel.

"A lot of anger Hazel and a murder." I said.

IV-

I went home...It had been a very unsatisfactory day....I hoped beyond hope that Ronnie Moore was dead..but against my better wishes and all that I knew from being a Private Investigator, He was dead and worse, he had been murdered...I didn't want to talk about it or break the news to Sepia...but I knew it was going to come up eventually...I dreaded that.
Sepia had put Kimberly to sleep and was putting away her laundry...

''You look like you had a bad day baby"she said.

"Not one of my best." I said quietly...

I stared at the panties she was putting in the drawer...

"These new?" I asked.

"No , you haven't been paying attention..You take em off so fast..." she laughed as she put some bras in another drawer..
I stared at them and smiled..

''Wow!" I said..

Sepia smiled..

"He's Gone isn't he? she whispered.

"I'm certain of it , One Hundred Percent  percent certain!" I said
She kissed me softly....

"I'm sorry baby" I said...

"It's alright baby.." she whispered...

Pretty soon we were both straddled  across the bed , kissing passionately....I slipped her night shirt off...

''Welll...I'll certainly remember these panties and this bra.." I laughed..

"No you won't...you'll be asking me about them within a month..." laughed Sepia as we rolled across the bed, kissing passionately...

Sepia soon was moving up and down on me, drowning me with sweet kisses...

"Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu Kevin you are driving me insaneeee.." she moaned..

"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh girrrlll.."
I found myself moaning...

We soon were on top of the bed, making sweet love....

'You feel better daddy?" she asked..

"Yessssssssssssssssss...much better..." I moaned..

"Ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu...ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm she moaned..

EIGHT TO NINE HOURS slowly drifted by Neither of us knew if we were coming or going...

"OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...OHHHHHHHHHHHH MY GODDDDDD KEVIN!" she moaned as I continued to pound her doggie style on the bedroom floor...

We continued making love for another THREE HOURS, before we both climaxed in each others arms..

Our friend was gone, more than likely murdered....His murder had to be avenged...It had to be..
