Naked Lou

I couldn't believe I was driving up to yet another murder scene.....Another young girl clad only in bra and panties....but this time lying in the middle of the street in a completely different part of the city...

Carlotta,Sirena and Angie were already looking at the body...

 "Manual strangulation...just like our other three.." said Carlotta..

 Sirena checked the body out...

''Seems like she had sex...but something is different about this..." she said..

"I don't think there has been a big theft tonight.."said Angie....

"I was just on the horn with Duke...

He and Lt. Ho.has  got a team of Vice and Narcotics plain clothes guys detailed at Penn's Landing...There has been no movemant...

Maserati and Lebow are on the boat.."said Tyriq..

"Then this has to be someone else...A copycat..." said Jimmy....

Hop came back with one man...He was so drunk , he was barely audible....

"Tell us what you saw.." said Hop...

The man laughed...His breath smelled so bad..we all winced..

''White guy...young, medium build..He brought her here...He was in a car...." he said.."sandy blond hair..His face was covered with ladies pantyhose..." he said.

"Sounds like our boy.."said Sissy...

''Did he have any clothes on?" asked Jimmy...

"Yeah...Khaki pants and a white shirt..."said the guy...

"What kind of car?"asked Tyriq...

"Tan...Tan Altima...Maxima...All I know is it was a Nissann..."said the man....

"I got his name ,address and phone number....I'm gonna get him some coffee..."said Hop...

A Crowd gathered....The police roped the area off....

"It is just like the others.."said Hazel...''The killer used a condom...Doesn't appear to be any prints or semen..except maybe on the neck....This seems different.."said Hazel...

"This is either the same guy or a copycat..."said Carlotta..

"How? It can't be a copycat...We haven't made a lot of things known to the public "said Angie..

"Ohhhhh Lieutenant Tragg has...talking about the killer is naked , wears pantyhose to cover his face and latex gloves and booties....He's been all over the news talking about the "Naked Strangler." It's a media sensation.."said Sissy angrily...

"But even he didn't know that the killer wore a condom?Or that he stuffs the drivers license into the panties." said Sirena..

"He did see the condom on him..He saw one of the grainy photos of him...provided by the media he hates so much...The whole city is talking about the Naked Strangler..The only thing he hasn't done is tie them to the Jewel thefts..He knows enough!"said Tyriq..

''Don't look now " I said, "Speak of the devil...here he comes." I said..

Lt. Tragg walked up with three uniformed officers...

"What have we got here?" he asked..

''A Homicide"answered Sissy dryly....

He kneeled down looked at the girl.....Shook his head..

"This is number four..." he said..

"We don't know that yet.."said Angie..

"It could be a copycat..."said Hop..

''Copy cat? What makes you think that?" asked Lt. Tragg.

"Because for one...She isn't a working girl...Her name is Angela Crandel...She waits tables in a Bar and restaurant near Penns Landing...No police record whatsoever...The other victims were all working girls with sheets."said Tyriq...

''So?...The killer changed up..She's far away from home"said Lt. Tragg,looking at her drivers license which was stuffed in the side of her panties...

"This isn't our guy's style...and we don't know where the rest of her clothes are.."said Jimmy...

''We are treating this as a seperate homicide...Until we know different.."said Sissy..

"You've got four dead girls and you six have been working this case longer than most...and you still have nothing...This case needs fresh eyes.."said Lt. Tragg..

"Like yours right?"said Sissy sarcastically...

"Yes...COMSTAT is tomorrow...Be there...you've got a lot of explaining to do.." said Lt. Tragg..as he walked away...

Sissy took her shoe off and was getting ready to hurl it at him ,when Carlotta and Sirena grabbed her..

"Boss Lady no!!!......"said Carlotta..

"He's not worth it!..We are about to make an arrest soon anyway...That'll shut him up..."said Sirena.

"My Phone is ringing...It's Mercedes....I have to take this.."said Carlotta.

"Guys...Bag her and tag her...We are done here.."said Hazel..

We watched as our fourth murdered girl was carted away...

II-

Detective Mercedes Rodriguez was by herself on the port at Penns Landing making a desperate call..

She spoke in Spanish, just in case she was being watched...

"Carlotta honey...He killed another girl tonight...I saw him...On the boat...Some girl he met in a bar...Ernesto witnessed it too!!...It was all I could do to keep Ernesto from killing him..."said Mercedes...

"Was the girl about 22, 23, Blonde hair?Yellow leopard print thong panties and a purple bra..?" asked Carlotta..

"That's her...He killed her...He's uptight because he hasn't had a woman in three weeks and he knows the big score is soon...Ernesto and I were coming from dinner...We heard them making love as we entered the boat...Ernesto flung the door to his room open because they were making so much noise ,just as he killed her..He's sick...He's the one who killed my friend in San Juan and he killed those girls here in Philly.."said Mercedes...

"Come in baby...you've done enough..With your eyewitness testimony and the forensic and fingerprint evidence we have..We have enough to take him..Here is my address....Our new Headquarters...Come in."said Carlotta..

"Okay.."said Mercedes, who for the first time in her career as a Detective, sounded frightened...

She went to where Duke and Lt. Ho was

and told them what she had told Carlotta...

They brought her back to headquarters..

 Tyriq and Sirena went home...

The rest of us stayed for awhile..

 "Nice Digs Cousin..Me likey."said Mercedes, now feeling better..

 ''Yesss...We call it home...It's bigger, better and out of the way.."said Carlotta..

 "We still have our other place...Our safehouse where we kept you last time..but this place is where we do most of our work.."said Jimmy..

 ''We have a whole floor to ourselves.."said Angie.

 "The Federallis are upstairs...FBI, ATF."said Hop..

 Duke took his wife,Hazel's shoes off and softly rubbed her feet...

Hazel smiled softly at him and kissed him..

"Ouuuu Thank you baby...That feels good." she said..

I looked at Sissy..

"What about tomorrow?" I asked..

Sissy smiled that devilish ,sexy grin of his...

"Oh I've got a plan to fix Lt. Tragg....Just wait and see.."she said.

"Oh Boy..."laughed Lt. Danny Ho..

I knew what that meant.

III-

The Next day...All of the Lieutenants, Sergeants and Captains attended the monthly COMSTAT meeting where they discussed their latest cases and were supposed to be advised on how they could better police a city the size of Philadelphia..

Lieutenant Tragg who chaired the meeting had turned it into a kangaroo court in which he berated young Sgt's..and newly minted Lieutenants such as Danny Ho..

"You've got three major jewelry heists from three weeks ago and no suspect....no arrests...."said Lt. Tragg..

''We in Robbery-Homicide have been working closely with Narcotics and Vice as well as two detectives from Lt. Van Buren's Criminal Investigation Division..

And Angie Belton and we believe a shot caller named Eddie Lee,

 who owns a very trendy restaurant and bar

that houses an illegal crap game

frequented by Russian and Asian mobsters may be the shot caller who hired the jewel thief...We are watching him very closely.."said Lt. Danny Ho.

"Is that right?" said Lt. Tragg..

He saved his prize for last...Sissy Van Buren...He loved to berate her...He was almost salivating..

"Lieutenant Van Buren..."he said..

You could see the hairs bristling on her neck...

"Three, NOW FOUR unsolved homicides....A Month of so called detective work...What I've seen is your detectives standing around talking and eating and drinking in local diners...and bupkiss...No arrests, no suspect.."he chirped..

"I didn't say we didn't have a suspect...Eddie Lee has been helping us also. ..He appears to know a lot about what is going on in the underworld...He has given us inroads into who our serial killer might be..but we don't have enough to make an arrest yet ,but an arrest is imminent.."said Sissy..

"An arrest is imminent...An Arrest is imminent.."he said Sarcastically...

"You know something...We'll get our man before you do...just like that reporter said...Both of us..Me and Lt. Ho...So butt out!"said Sissy, who got up and walked out...

"This meeting isn't over yet!"said Lt. Tragg..

"It is for me.."said Sissy...

''Me too!"said Danny Ho..

He whispered to Sissy.."Think he went for it?"

"I know he did.."said Sissy..

At Penns Landing...The next day...

Ernesto Maserati looked worried..

"I am worried..I have been calling Vanessa and she has not answered her phone...I have not seen her since last night.." he said..

Jacques Lebow was sweating..

"I need a woman...I need to clear my head before the score..." he said..Ignoring Ernesto's concern about Vanessa

"NO! Absolutely not...You had a woman...If you could sleep with them without killing them it would be different.."he said and dialed Vanessa's cell phone again...

''Where can she be?" he asked..

In Chinatown...Lt. Tragg was meeting with Eddie Lee..

"Listen Lee...A lot of cops have turned their heads and allowed you to run that crap game upstairs..

and I know the Russian Mob and some of you Asian Mobsters frequent this joint...Now you either give me a name or I'll have the Tactical squad raid this place every day until it falls to the ground."said Lt. Tragg..

"Okay..Okay!! Look..Like I told the other cops...Naked Lou is your guy..." he said..

''Who the hell is Naked Lou?" asked Lt. Tragg..

"Lou Bergman...The city councilman..He's a freak...Likes to be naked...Likes workin girls and loves jewelry...He'll do anything to curry their favor..I didn't put him down on any scores, That was someone else with more long green than I have...but I hear Councilman Bergman is pretty light with his fingers...He might have killed those girls because they threatened to tell his wife...I don't know...That's just what I heard...You know..on the streets.."said Eddie Lee.

"REALLLY!! LOU BERGMAN!!!  I never imagined..I have heard the stories about how he loves the ladies...but him..a boxman?? Wowwwww! Who would have thought?" said Lt. Tragg..

"Come on...He was caught a few years ago in a hotel room with his wife and six workin girls...and that wasn't the first time he was caught with a workin girl...The man is a stone cold freak...Everybody knows it..I don't see how he got re-elected....I happen to know...He's in the Marriot right now with a high priced pro...If I was you, I'd get over there before he makes her his next victim.." said Eddie Lee..

"I'll be damned...The murders and the thefts were all the same nights...Sissy and her crew didn't put that together...I'll be damned..This will be the bust of the century...."said Lt. Tragg as he raced out of the restaurant...

Eddie Lee shook his head..

"Is he really that stupid?"

Lt. Ho stepped out from behind a curtain. He was trying hard to contain his laughter....

"I'm afraid he is.."laughed Lt. Ho...who passed Eddie Lee a card..

"This is your get out of jail free card....Anything below a felony..Give me a call.." he said..

 TONIGHT!

"There it is...The top floor..biggest score of my life.."

said Jacques Lebow..staring at the high rise.

"Let's do this.."said Bonnie Shay...'What are you doing?" she said.. He was taking off his clothes...He was butt naked and fully erect...

"I have to be nude...Ummmmmmp, I find you very attractive..."he said..

"Put-Put your clothes on.."said Bonnie..

He put on latex gloves and Latex Booties..he pulled Bonnie to him and kissed her passionately

"Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmph, ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.." he moaned..more aroused than ever..
"You are a very sexy woman, I have wanted to do that since the day you met with Ernesto...Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.."he moaned..

She slapped his face...

"Touch me again and I'll tase you.."she said..staring at how erect he was...

"Oh My God!!!...Do you have to be ...Naked..?" she asked..amazed at how well endowed he was...and repelled at the same time with his brazen ness.

He smiled...

"Ummm yes...After this is over...We will be making love..." he said..

He bypassed the security and the cameras with ease and they took the back elevator to the top floor..Again He by passed security and then disabled the booby trap on the safe...He opened the safe with ease only to find ..a note..He was good...The best Bonnie had even seen.

"What?? A Note???" he said..

"YOU'RE UNDER ARREST!  FOUR COUNTS OF FIRST DEGREE MURDER, FOUR COUNTS OF AGGRAVATED BURGLARY!!!!" the note read.


"What is this..a joke..?" he asked..

"It's no joke...Hands up baby!"said Carlotta who had a glock aimed at him...

"You're under arrest Mr. Lebow!"said Tyriq..who also had a glock pointing at his head..

''We've been waiting a long time for you.."said Jimmy...who like the others had his glock aimed at him...

"And Now we got'cha.."said Sirena..With her glock aimed at him...

He was no fool ,he put his hands up...

"It's tank time stupid..."said Hop...Who covered him with a robe..after he handcuffed him...

"I guess there is no need to search you." he said..

Which was met by laughter.....

He looked around...

"Vanessa??" he said.

"Detective Mercedes Rodriguez...San Juan Homicide.."said Mercedes....who also had her glock drawn..

''You're a cop too?" he said looking at Bonnie..

"No...I'm an insurance investigator..." she said...

They marched him out of the building in handcuffs...Sissy ,Sharon and I stood outside with a tactical unit as they marched him out...

 "So you're the Frenchman eh?  "I've been waiting a long time to meet you..." she said..

 He looked at her and smiled...

"I'd like to get to know you tooo.." he said and winked..

"I've got detectives from France, The U.K. and Germany who are flying in to talk with you.."  said Deputy FBI Special Agent in charge, Sharon Hopkins, who was there with several FBI Agents...

Sissy motioned to the Tactical squad...

"Take him away.." she said.

They read him his rights and took him downtown to a holding cell..

"Well, might as well call Danny Ho, Duke and Angie...Tell em to move on Ernesto." I said..

"Everything is going according to plan.."said Sissy, who was happy to have four cleared murders..

At Penns Landing...Duke got off of the phone..

"That was Boss Lady...They got Naked Boy in custody...Let's move in.." said Duke...

''Let's Do It.."said Lt. Ho..

Angie had the warrant...She led the Tactical squad from Vice and Narcotics onto his boat..

Of course Ernesto Maserati was stunned..

"What is this? Do you have a warrant?" he asked..

"Sure do Sugar..Search the bottom boys."said Angie.

They found all of the jewelry that had been stolen in the past week... as well as enough Heroin to juice the entire city...

"Perhaps we can work out a deal...I know who has been killing all of those girls..." said Ernesto Maserati...

''We already have him in custody...Jacques Lebow...Let's go Ernesto."said Duke..

All in all a great night!

But not for everybody...Around the same time the busts were occurring!

City Councilman Lou Bergman , who everyone knew was kind of kinky,but certainly not a criminal was in a hotel room with his wife and a high class call girl...

 "Lieutenant are you sure you want to do this...He's a City Councilman?" said a Police Sgt...

"Are you sure you want to keep those stripes Sgt?? Stand back...I'll do it myself.." snarled Lt. Tragg...

"Step aside!" said Lt. Tragg who kicked the door in himself.... Only to get the shock of his life!!!!

"Oh My GOD... Mrs. Bergman???  MRS. Bergman???SIRRRR!!!" he said...

"OHH MY GOD....LT. TRAGG, YOU ASSHOLE!!!!...GET OUT!  ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! GET OUT!!!!! OH LAWD I'M NOT DRESSED..GET OUTTT!" she screamed...As the shocked couple spun around....


"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS TRAGG??" screamed a very naked Councilman Lou Bergman,and a second naked woman.....


"Ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu close that door, I'm not dressed.."she screamed!

She tossed one of her pumps at him which struck him in the head...

"OWWWWW JESUS  THAT HURT!" screamed Lt. Tragg....

"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH GET OUT...I'M NOT DRESSED"  screamed Mrs. Bergman and tossed an one of her pumps at him which struck him again...

"OWWWWWWWWWWWWW! COME ON NOW!!" he screamed...

"JUST GET OUT....GET OUT..YOU ASSHOLE!!" she yelled and hurled her bra at him..He ducked.

"TRAGG!!! I'LL HAVE YOUR BADGE FOR THIS YOU ASSHOLEEEE!"screamed Lou Bergman..

 "Sorry Lou...I got you for murder one..Four counts.."said Lt. Tragg..

"MURDER?? YOU'RE OFF YOUR NUT, YOU LUNATIC!!!CLOSE THAT DOOR,IT'S COLD IN HERE!!! GET THOSE GOTDAMN REPORTERS AWAY FROM THE DOOR!!!"screamed the councilman...

"JUST GET OUT....GET OUT..YOU ASSHOLE!!" she yelled and hurled her bra at him..He ducked.

Lt. Tragg and a squad of six policemen  arrested all three people...bringing them out partially dressed....and announcing to the press that he had captured the man responsible for the killings of four young girls and the recent jewel thefts....

"You're off your nut Tragg I just got back in town last week..."said Councilman Lou Bergman..

"That's right we were in California..We have proof."said his wife..."

They were telling the truth...

 Several reporters were outside snapping photos as they emerged..

"Hey Tragg....They captured the Serial Killer earlier tonight...."said one reporter...

"Yeah and they found all of the stolen jewels too!"said another..

"GET THOSE CAMERAS OUT OF MY FACE...I'M NOT DRESSED!" screamed Councilman Lou Bergman....He was furious,Clad only in his boxers...His wife and the call girl were covered with the bed spread....

"Hey Tragg....As usual, you're late...They captured the Serial Killer hours ago....We were there when he did the perp walk..."said  yet another  reporter...

"Yeah and they found all of the stolen jewels too!  On some guys boat at Penns Landing!!!"said  yet another reporter....

"WHAT?" said Lt. Tragg...Who looked like he'd drank a can of paint!!!

Captain Ed Cantrell walked up to him...

"It's true Artie....Detectives Rodriguez-Wallace, Pile, Barlow, Pile and Hopkins

 of the Criminal Investigation Division, with help from an insurance investigator

 and a Homicide Detective on leave from San Juan and agents of the FBI, captured Jacques Lebow earlier tonight ..

 He's wanted in the U.K. , France and Germany for a number of murders and jewel thefts as well.

He's confessed to four killings here and 12 killings abroad...

Duke Baylor, Angie Belton Barlow and Lt. Ho,along with guys from Vice ,Narcotics and The ATF captured Ernesto Maserati...impounded his boat..

They recovered all of the stolen jewelry from here as well as Paris,London, West Berlin and San Juan...along with a lot of  Heroin... All in All it was a good night."said Captain Cantrell..

"I-I-Got it on good word from a known street source in the underworld that Lou Bergman was the naked strangler.."said Lt. Tragg..who was visibly shaken and looked rattled..completely rattled...He knew it didn't matter what he had heard...Sissy and her detectives had captured the real Naked Strangler, plus a major crime boss..

He didn't realize he'd been bait and switched...They purposely dropped Eddie Lee's name, knowing he'd make a bee line to his spot and knowing as pre-arranged ,he'd give Tragg a bogus clue...

"Lou is a freak..Everybody has heard the stories for years...but he's no killer....Cut him and his wife loose and the call girl as well...Oh and the Deputy Of Operations wants to see you..ASAP!"said Captain Cantrell..

"Ohhhhhhh...Okay! Thanks Ed.."said a visibly shaken. Lt. Tragg..He knew he was in deep trouble....As he walked out he saw Sissy addressing the press,

announcing the capture of both men and the closing of the cases..That was supposed to be him...

"Got the wrong guy again eh Artie?" said a reporter amid raucous laughter.....

An enraged Lt. Trout lunged at the reporter...

"WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!" he screamed in rage!!

Ed Cantrell and three officers tackled both men...

"ARTIE...ARTIE...GET YOURSELF TOGETHER!! CONTROL YOURSELF MANNN!!!" he screamed as they all fell to the floor..

 Sissy and I stood in the back laughing so hard our sides hurt...She fell up against me ,she was laughing so hard...

I nearly dropped her....I was howling with laughter...

End of one of our strangest cases...

EPILOUGE-

Ernesto Maserati turned in states evidence against Jacques Lebow...

Ernesto Maserati got 15-25 years for his crimes..Which was very light considering what he had done!

Jacques Lebow was convicted of four counts of first degree murder and sentenced to death....He got an additional 25 years for the jewel thefts...

 Lt. Tragg sent a written apology to Councilman and Mrs. Bergman..The only reason why they didn't press charges or call for his badge is because they didn't want any more attention drawn to them being caught at the Marriott with a hooker...

Surprisingly, No action was taken against Lt. Tragg by the department, but the snickers and laughter by fellow police officers was enough to drive him into seclusion...

That and the knowledge that Sissy's detectives made big arrests in both cases....the same night nearly drove him over the edge..

I kissed Carlotta in the foyer of our house.....

"You really love my cousin, don't you handsome? You can't keep your hands off of her.."laughed Mercedes..

"He is supposed to love me...I am his wife.."said Carlotta...

I smiled and kissed her some more..

"Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm..babyyyyy...and I dooo love me some Carlotta...."I moaned...

"Ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu papi" Carlotta moaned...

''So Mercedes...How long are you in town?" I asked..coming up for air...

"Unfortunately ,I'm leaving tomorrow,my job here is done!!...Nicky misses me..."said  Mercedes...

''Is that an engagement ring?" asked Carlotta...

"Si" , We plan a spring wedding...You two should come down.."she giggled...Showing us her ring finger...

''Welllllllllll this calls for a celebration...Let's go out tonight....It's your last night here..."I said..

''Okayyy...Nicky was a little angry that I took this undercover assignment...but I had to take that monster off the street..He killed my friend and two other girls in San Juan...I saw an interview with him on the news today...He said he couldn't help himself...He said killing them and watching them die got him off and cleared his head before a job...What a monster!!! 16 girls...."said Mercedes...shaking her head...

"Thank you soo much for helping us catch him..." said Carlotta ,hugging her cousin...

"Nice the way you guys played bait and switch with that Lt. Tragg..."laughed Mercedes...

"While investigating the murders we found City Councilman Lou Bergman's name at several of the escort services..We knew Lou wasn't our killer..and Lou had been caught in a hotel years ago with his wife and six girls.."said Carlotta.

"SIX GIRLS and his WIFE???AYE MIOS DIOS!"said Mercedes..

"He buys a lot of Viagra.."I laughed...

''Anyway...Boss lady purposely baited Lt. Tragg, knowing he'd go after Lou Bergman and giving us time to nab Jacques Lebow and Ernesto Maserati....without Lt. Tragg bringing reporters and either tipping them both off or getting in the way..."laughed Carlotta....looking at me, shaking her head and laughing...

"Your Boss Lady has a wicked sense of humor...I like her!"laughed Mercedes...

"That she does.."I said hugging Carlotta....and kissing her neck...
