Monday Morning found me, Attorney Keith Jones and my good friend, Attorney ,Calvin Hunt, trying a murder case in open court...
It was the second week....and the Prosecution had rested.. Now it was our turn..
The Assistant District Attorney was hot...Her name was Karen Page...Neither of us had ever been up against her before..
She was good, but we felt we had a good chance to win this case...
Lt. Tragg was the Arresting Officer and he couldn't keep his eyes off of her ....He was doing everything he could to impress her...
He was going to be pretty salty after we got through with him....
Sofia Garcia , Amil Cabral and Kahlil Ahmed were across town in Immigration Court.
We had narrowly saved Amil from deportation a month ago...We had his Work and Student Visas up to snuff...and were now preparing him for his citizenship test.
Ms. Jade, our investigator had just recently gotten her citizenship herself...She was a great help...Giving him encouragement and helping him with the studying...

The only ones not in court today was our supervisor, Ms. Yvette, Yvette Jones that is...
who was in her office....kicking back...
and my significant other, Beatrice "Bee Bee" Evans..
Who was keeping herself busy by filing all of our old case files...and tidying up both offices..
We had been to San Diego recently with Olivia and Beverly and crew and the business with Amil Cabral.....
Everything else was kind of like a let down after such an exciting summer..We all longed for something a little more exciting than our mundane case work...
Little did we know...It was coming..
A Tall, Well dressed Black man walked into the office....
"Lawd Have mercy, Yvette Jones....It is still Jones isn't it? You are still just as fine as wine..."said the man, who couldn't take his eyes off of Yvette..
Yvette's eyes got as large as saucers....
"Oh My God! Greg? Greg Garland...Oh My God!"said Yvette laughing....
"Well come here girl and give Big Daddy a hug." he said..
"Big Daddy?" thought Bee Bee....Now her interest was peaked...Who was this tall fine drink of water from Ms. Yvette's past? she wondered.
He hugged Yvette and squeezed her and spun her around... He smelled great and he had on a wonderfully tailored suit...
He leaned in for a kiss, but Yvette moved her head..
"Uh Uhhhh you can't do that.." she said...
"You got a boyfriend Vettie girl?" he asked..
"I do, he works in the D.A.'s office..."said Yvette..
"Ummmmmmmmmmmmph....he's a lucky man...and you know I know it..."said the man...
"Greg, this is one of my four Associate Attorneys, Beatrice Evans....We call her "Bee Bee." said Yvette..
Bee Bee smiled from cheek to cheek...
"Pleased to meet you." she said..
He smiled and checked her out... Lawd...the hips and legs and breasts on her...Myyyyy goodness, he thought to himself..
"Aint you a cute little thing." he said..
"So Greg,I heard you were in Atlanta..."said Yvette..
"I was, Then New York, now I'm back here and I'm in a little bit of trouble...Which is why I'm here..I want you to represent me..." said Greg Garland..
'What kind of trouble Greg?"asked Yvette..
He opened up a briefcase and poured 90 thousand dollars in cash on Yvette' s desk..
"The kind I'm going to pay you 90 large to fix.." he said..
Bee Bee's eyes got as large as saucers...
This was a lot of cash on the table....
"Oh My God...Where did you get all of that cash?" asked Yvette..
''Ever hear of Bitcoin Vettie? I represent several companies and interests that invest and deal in it heavily....I've invested in it myself.." he said..
He had known Yvette Jones and Olivia Bennett in Law School...They'd all graduated together...Like Yvette, he had immediately went to a corporate law firm, but far more corporate than Yvette.. He moved to Atlanta and then New York...He'd even lived in London for awhile..
He passed Yvette a Blue Zip Drive
"Yvette, I'm being set up... I have been rather successful and there are a lot of people who would like to see me take a fall for many reasons...more reasons than I can explain to you...
Anyway...I came into work today and found this in my computer at my desk.....It's got Malware on it...a particular Malware that can and will Black the City of Philadelphia out for 12 hours....This will take place in 48 hours...When it does...it'll be traced back to my computer and I'll be blamed for this..I have no idea who placed it in my computer or when...It could have been at anytime...I basically have no defense...This is Cyber-Terrorism...I could be disbarred if convicted and serve up to ten years in prison...I need your help Vettie girl." he said.
''What can we do?" asked Yvette.
"Go to the Feds....Make a deal with them, tell them that somebody is behind this, but keep my identity secret...Tell them the story I told you, just don't drop my name..Also ask for complete immunity from prosecution. Surely as long as you've been practicing law you know somebody on the federal level who owes you a favor or something.." said Greg.
"I know somebody...An Assistant U.S. Attorney.."said Bee Bee....
"That's what I'm talking about...Talk to him...Make the deal...Let the feds get to the bottom of this.." said Greg..
"What if they won't deal?" asked Yvette...
He looked at Bee Bee.
"I'm guessing this AUSA you know is a male....Unless he's Gay...He won't tell you no." he said.. looking Bee Bee up and down..
"We uh were engaged a long time ago...We didn't exactly end on a good note. .And I'm involved with somebody else now...One of Ms. Yvette's other associate attorneys.. He's in court today...you may meet him." said Bee Bee.
"Your boss lady and I were involved years ago....You see I've gotten over the fact that we aren't together, don't you?" said Greg..
"Greg, let's not do this okayyyyyyyy?" said Yvette, laughing...
"Let's not....I just gave you 90 large as a retainer....Reach out to your friend in the DOJ, Make the deal..." I'll see you later baby girl. Nice meeting you Bee Bee." he said and lifted Yvette off the floor, hugging her and spinning her around..
"Ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu..put me down, put me down....put me downnnnn Greg, you are soooo silly..."laughed Yvette....
Bee Bee laughed....

"We are back!!" I said as the four of us entered the office..
''Anything Interesting happen around here?" asked Kahlil.
''Well, Our files are all put up and our offices are tidier than what we left them."said Sofia, smiling.
''That's nice, but not exciting.."joked Jade.
"Bee Bee and I met an old friend who came in here and dropped 90 large on my desk as you can see and has hired us to represent him.."said Yvette..
Bee Bee stuck her tongue out..
Then we all saw the cash on Ms. Yvette's desk.
"Aye Mios Dios, what kind of trouble is he in?" asked Sofia looking at all of the cash on Ms. Yvette's desk.
"Yeah and does he need any help? Sofia and I are nearly done."said Kahlil..
"Yeah, wow! Just how good a friend is he?" I asked...I had never seen so much cash on a table at one time..
''I went to law school with him...He uh was my boyfriend for a minute...just a minute...He's a corporate attorney now , he represents a lot of people who invest in and use Bitcoin."said Yvette.
"I know about Bitcoin....If he dropped that kind of cash on your desk like it was nothing...I think I want to know more about Bitcoin.."I said.
"Someone at his job or else where is trying to set him up....They put this Malware Zip drive in his computer...he says that in 48 Hours it will completely blackout the city of Philadelphia..."said Bee Bee.
"They can trace that...Law enforcement is a lot more sophisticated now of days." said Kahlil.
''And that's his problem...He'll be disbarred and he could go to prison for up to 10 years.If it is traced back to his computer." said Yvette.
''So what can we do if the Malware is already in his computer?" asked Sofia..
"He wants us to make a deal with the Feds..He wants Immunity from prosecution and anonymitity." said Ms. Yvette.
"You think the Feds will go for that? That's a tall order." I said.,
"I know an Assistant U.S. Attorney who might." said Bee Bee...
"Aww Nuts...Him?" I said in disgust...
Thinking about pretty boy, Todd Dellums.. Bee Bee's ex fiance, who'd like nothing better than to have Bee Bee beholden unto him...
"Gosh, Him mami?" said Sofia who disliked him as much as I did, but for different reasons..
"He's the best shot we got.. Look I already called him...I'm not having dinner with him...I'm meeting him for coffee to talk.. I'll give him the zip drive and he'll either make the deal or he won't."said Bee Bee..
"We can attack this from another angle...I know someone...
Liv's friend, Bonnie Shay."said Jade..
"I've met her..She's nice...She's an Attorney also and an Insurance Investigator for Cyclops Insurance."said Yvette.
"She's also a computer whiz, an expert at combatting and tracing Malware...Get me your friend's address, his work address...Bonnie and I are going to try and attack the problem from the root." said Jade..
"Sounds Like a Good Idea."said Ms. Yvette. Looking at all the money on her desk and shaking her head in amazement...
IV-
Nightfall came
Back in our apartment, the four of us were in Bee Bee and Sofia's apartment just like in college when we hung out in Bee Bee and Sofia's dorm room...
"Keith, you are soooo jealous of Todd and you have no reason to be...You're my man...You spend four out of seven nights in my bed or I'm in yours...He spends none..."said Bee Bee..
"Yeah, but I know he'd like to..."I said.
"That has nothing to do with me...I'm telling you...This is just business..That's all." said Bee Bee..
"It's risky...what if he won't deal?"said Sofia...
"Then we are going to need candles and flashlights for about 12 hours."said Kahlil..
We all busted out laughing...
At Gary's house...
"So somebody just put a Zip drive on my man's computer just like that...that can black out the entire city? Of all the people in this city...They picked him huh? doesn't that sound a little funny to you?" asked Gary..
"It did until he dropped 90 large on my desk...for a retainer...Gary ,he's scared...He puts up a good front...but he's scared..Somebody is trying to take him down." said Yvette.
''Somebody is blackmailing him that's what it is.. and he's trying to get back in your panties..."said Gary...
"How do you figure that? asked Yvette.
"Flashing the cash, nice tailored suit, sweet fragrance...The Whoa is me story...."said Gary...
"First off...Bee Bee is making the deal...She's going to AUSA Todd Dellums...I won't even be there..Jade and Bonnie Shay are going to his job to try and combat the Malware..I won't be there either." said Yvette..
"No, but he will and so will I.." said Gary....
"Your jealousy is kinda turning me on.."said Yvette...
"Really?" laughed Gary...
Yvette sat in his lap..
"Yeah, really..."she said..
She kissed him passionately...…
Within a matter of minutes, Gary had Yvette's legs spread open and was entering her slowly...
"Ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu I am soooo jealous of that guy.." he moaned.
"Oh hush up silly.."laughed Yvette..
"Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm I'm so jealous.." laughed Gary as he began to move in and out of Yvette's warm and moist center...
"Are you really?" she asked sarcastically... "Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu ,ohhhhh tell me more.." she said..
"I'll tell you anything you want to know.."Gary moaned..
They made sweet love in his bedroom under the moon lit sky... for the next SEVEN TO EIGHT HOURS....
Gary was trying to make a joke about being jealous, but Yvette knew he really was.. She thought it was cute...
And There it was....Life had just got interesting again...
