Reprieve

 Carlotta and I were in our room upstairs at our new headquarters, kissing passionately..

Duke and Hazel were probably the loudest....

Their bed was squeaking something terrible...their headboard was slamming hard against the walls and they were sweating profusely....

Hop and Sharon weren't far behind them...

Their bed was squeaking so hard, the lights were going on and off in the adjoining rooms....

Sissy and Eddie C. were staring in each other's eyes...

"The lights keep going on and off...What is going on over there?" asked a smiling Sissy..

which led to them making sweet love and rivaling Duke and Hazel for being loud...Their bed squeaking noisily ,their headboard slamming hard against the wall.

We were a family...We were all married to each other....and had all been friends most of our careers..We were also warriors ,who had faced death in the past day...Twp separate gunbattles with desperate and violent criminals...

We had killed one, captured another, confiscated a whole lot of cash,both safe houses, passports, a car, guns and cell phones..practically crippling them..

The three people at large, including a very violent psychopath...were now homeless, broke and very desperate...Their photos were all over the media and they were the targets of both an FBI manhunt and a CID manhunt..

For us, this sex was a release of the tension of the previous day.. A reprieve!

At the Condo belonging to Eddie Palmieri, two of our suspects got a rude surprise..

The entire condo was empty....Everything was gone..

Including the safe...

"I don't believe this....He's gone, everything is gone..."said Curtis Temple..

He was there with Lu Lu...Lisa Benson....

"Oh My God...He's left and we don't know how to reach him....What do we do?" she asked.

"The Cops knew where we lived, they found the car...They had us made...Eddie gave us up, it had to be him.."said Curtis..

"No...Eddie didn't know where we were stayin….and he told us to stash that car in the airport...We didn't, remember? He didn't know that...He didn't give us up..."said Lu Lu…

Curtis thought..

"Yeah you're right...He couldn't have given us up...Too much he didn't know...but the cops knew our names, knew where we lived...How could they know unless ONE of us is the rat."said Curtis.."Where is Mel?" he asked.

"Oh My God..No!!! You think? "said Lu Lu..

"She freaked out when Terry and Patty killed that security guard remember? She kept cryin and wailing about how she didn't sign up for murder..."said Curtis...

"Yeah and she really went beserk when Terry and I killed that second guard...I kept telling her we had to..He fired on us.." said Lu Lu…

She wasn't built for this...I knew she wasn't...She thought this was fun and games."said Curt.

"Terry's dead, but Patty and I got murder raps hanging over our heads...You don't think Patty will talk do you?" asked Lu Lu…

"Nah, she's a soldier, but we need some money, another score and we need to get out of this town...It's become too hot...and speaking of hot...."said Curtis as he threw Lu Lu up against the wall..

"What are you doing? How can you think about sex at a time like this? We are in serious trouble here." she said..

He kissed her passionately for a few minutes...

"I've been wanting to get it on with you for a long time.." he said..

"I thought...I-I thought you and Patty were..."she said.

"Patty's in jail...I want you now.."said Curtis, who pulled her into the bedroom...There were no sheets on the bed...Truly everything was gone...

"Curtis no...We shouldn't do this...Not here..."she protested...

''Shuttttttttttttttttttttt up..." he said..

He took her top off and unhooked her bra..

He kissed her a little longer.. "Curtis, stoppppppppppppp...we are going to get caught.." she said in between slow smouldering kisses..

"By who?  Eddie is gone, does it look like he or anybody is coming back here? It's just me and you...."said Curtis in between smouldering kisses...

"We shouldn't be in here even thinking about doing this" she protested..... She had no real desire to sleep with Curtis...She never did.. She found him frightening...

"Sure you should...Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...."he moaned...

He slipped his hand up her skirt...She moved it.. "No..Not in here..NO! Curtis please!  " she said.

. "Lu Lu please....I've been watching you for a long time, I'm not gonna watch anymore..I need to have you..."said Curtis...

He slipped his hand up her skirt again, softly caressing her thighs and hips...he tugged on the waistband of her panties...She wasn't getting aroused..... "Stop Curtis, we are not going to do this in here....Stop it now!." she said firmly and gently removed his hands...

He ripped her panties off and pulled her skirt up....and unzippered it..

"WOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!"she yelled.

"SHUT UP!" he said.

He tossed her on the bed and took his trousers off and mounted her..

What followed next was EIGHT TO NINE harrowing hours of sex....Sex which Lu Lu did not enjoy at all...She cried the entire time...Curtis grunted and groaned like a wild bear and slobbered and sweat all over her..

"Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmph, ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww lawwwwd." he moaned..

"AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW GEEEEZ, I'M ABOUT TO BLOW MY LOAD....ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!  " he finally said and came like a gusher....

She was relieved...

She got up and put her clothes on...She had no panties..He had ripped them off...

"ASSHOLE!" she cried as Curtis slept like a baby, snoring...

She couldn't believe he had raped her....She was done with him...Melody was right, whatever she had done.. She realized she had to make it on her own now..

Downtown in what detectives call the Fishbowl, Interrogation Room.

Patricia Krenkle sat...

Lt. Danny Ho questioned her..

He showed her a glossy photo of the four of them getting out of the muscle car, minutes before they entered the Jewelry Store.

Her eyes got as large as saucers....

"HOW DID YOU GET THAT?" she asked.

"The one camera you guys didn't knock out...The camera on the ATM across the street....You didn't turn your GPS devices off in your phones...Once we knew WHO you were ,it was easy to track your every movement via your phones...We knew you guys were in the second jewelry store...We have all of your guns in evidence...We ran ballistics checks...We know You and Terry killed that first security guard and we know Terry and Lisa "Lu Lu" Benson killed that second security guard... Terry is dead..He has in a way already paid for his crimes."said Lt. Ho.

"Dead? WHAT?" asked Patty..

"He was killed around the same time you and your boyfriend, Curtis Temple were shooting it out with some of our detectives and tactical squad people... We got your original car, used in the jewel heists, we got your guns, your money, your cell phones...All of em and your passports...and it's just a matter of time before we round up ,Curtis, Melody and Lu Lu..They can't go anywhere..not with no money....What you need to think about is you....A murder, two murders during the commission of a robbery spells Death Penalty for you, unless you start talking about your shot caller, your fence."said  Lt. Danny Ho...

She was clearly shaken..

"I-I-I have to think about this." she said.

"Fair enough, but don't take too long...The clock is ticking...Time is on My side."said Lt. Ho as he motioned for the officer to take her back to her cell..

IV-

"Unc I am sooo sorry about that crew, Curtis Temple and Terry Watkins came highly recommended..."said Ruby..

They were in Paris, France..

"Maybe, but we knew nothing about those girls...Two of em killed those security guards...They shouldn't have gone on those jobs...but that's water under the bridge now...What's done is done.." said Eddie Palmieri...

"They killed Terry and they have Patty in custody....I don't think she'll talk." said Ruby..

"Doesn't matter if she does or not...We are no longer in the country...I'll be meeting with that Russian tomorrow here in Paris..for a huge payday...I can effectively retire...So can you..."laughed Eddie..

"Nice.."laughed Ruby..

The next morning, we were all up sitting around ….

"Well, I hope we all had a nice rest.....The hunt continues." I said.

"Let's take stock of what we've accomplished so far..."said Sissy.

 "We have Patty K. in custody."said Carlotta.

 ''We killed Terry Watkins"said Tyriq.

 "We got both cars they stole, and a lot of money."said Jimmy.

 "We've got both safehouses, passports, all of their guns." said Sirena...

"We have them on the run...The three that are left...No place to lie their heads, no money, no passports , no transportation...I think it's only a matter of time before they turn themselves in."said Hop.

"Curtis Temple will never turn himself in...I think they may pull another job.."said Angie..

"They're too hot Angie...Nobody is going to want to go near them, plus their faces are everywhere, The cops and the Feds are turning this city upside down looking for them and The Stateys have the highways bottled up..."said Duke.

"Maybe so...but they are still out there.."said Hazel...

"I'd prefer we capture them , rather than wait for them to do something else..

Just then, Lieutenant Ho walked in, he wasn't alone..

"Hey guys, look who I found on my doorstep this morning." he said..He was with Melody..

She was frightened..

"Look, I took part in both of those Jewel Heists, but I didn't kill anybody....I swear, That was Terry, Patty and Lu Lu...Can we work out a deal?" she asked..

"I'm listening." I said.
