A Huntin We Will Go

The Car sat on an abandoned street...

The Detective from Auto theft who found it called us...

''It's a beauty aint it?" he said.

Hop , Sirena, Hazel and I went out immediately...

''I'll say.." said Hop admiring the car..

"Smell all that bleach?" asked Hazel..."They washed it and bleached it down...No Prints or DNA..My Guys are on their way...But I already know you won't find anything." she said..

"You're probably right....Come on partner..We got some doors to take down.."said Sirena..

"I'll mind the store.." I said as they left..

Hazel walked up to me..

''You're worried about Carlotta aren't you?   I worry about Duke all the time.. All these years we've been with them.. We know how good they are trained.. but still we worry." she said.

I hugged her...I didn't say anything, but yes I worried ...These guys were kill crazy...

Duke and Angie had Patty Krenkle's place covered...

 "You don't want to wait for back up Duke?" asked Angie...

''She's the only one in there...We can take her...They're late...We don't have time...You take the back.. I'll take the front." he said.

Duke was wrong about there only being one of the wanted suspects in the house...

He crept down the small hallway with his gun drawn.....

Curtis Temple was coming up the main stairwell and saw him...He immediately pulled out his .45

"DUKE LOOK OUT!!" screamed Angie..

Duke ducked down...and dove across the floor, taking cover as bullets flew over his head... He pulled out his glock, took the safety off...

Curtis Temple fired six more shots at Duke...

"I haven't killed a cop yet, but you can be the first pal." said Curtis Temple.

Duke smiled a sinister smile and pulled out his Glock!! Angie already had her gun drawn....

Duke and Angie returned his fire...and told others in the rooming house that they were police and to go back in their rooms..

Curtis Temple took cover , reloaded and fired again...

This time at Angie , who ducked..

Duke returned his fire, nearly hitting him... He ducked and ran down the steps, shooting behind him..

He turned took aim at Duke and fired again...

Duke took cover, reloaded his glock and returned his fire..

''You don't want this smoke Temple..Give it up!" said Duke..

"I'll kill you before I give up." said Curtis Temple..

Curtis ran out the door and into the street...as bullets flew his way, just missing him...

Patty Krenkle came out of her room, She had a hot pistol..She aimed down at Duke, before she felt hot steel on her neck..

"Drop that gun blondie or I'll blow your wig off! You'll be a red head." said Angie..

She did as she was told and Angie knocked her down and hand cuffed her...

Duke entered the room....He found the cell phones that belonged to all of them, They had decided to ditch them a little too late...

Patty Krenkle didn't say a word..

He heard a fussilade of gunfire in the street...

Several of the Tactical squad had encountered Curtis Temple and engaged in a wild gun battle with him...

He held his own, ducking and dodging between parked cars and shooting at them...

He managed to slip and slide through the crowd and escape...He was sweating bullets...How did they know? How did they get on to them??

"Ange look, there is over  two million dollars in cash in here and guns up the wazoo..."said Duke..

''And look, plane tickets...One way..To London...I'm guessing they moved that merch already and got paid. They were already planning to get out of here..but we foiled that.."said Angie..

''Yes we did..You saved my life...TWICE!  Next time ,I'll wait for back up.....Thank you Ange!" said Duke.

"On YOUR FEET!" he said and pulled Patty Krenkle up... He read her her rights and turned her over to a uniformed officer, who took her downstairs to a patrol car....

"I'm your partner...I'm supposed to have your back...Just like you have mine.." said Angie softly...

"And I always will babe." said Duke, hugging his partner and good friend...Angie's body was so soft, so curvaceous...so warm....For a minute ,Duke envied Jimmy...

"Whatever did you do for two years while I was in Internal Affairs?" joked Angie..melting inside Duke's warm embrace...For  minute, she envied Hazel...having Duke's arms around her...

"I kept myself alive...I knew you were coming back."said Duke, smiling.

On a small street in another part of town... Carlotta knocked on the door..

"OPEN UP! POLICE....WE HAVE A WARRANT FOR YOUR ARREST..." she shouted...

Terry Watkins didn't think so...

Carlotta heard the familiar sound of a gun loading...She ran down the steps and took cover..

Terry Watkins had something more powerful than a shotgun..He had a military style assault rifle with a 200 round magazine.and he was spraying the street..

"COME GET IT PIGGIES!" he yelled...

People were running, screaming... Tyriq and Jimmy had glocks...Tyriq took cover behind a large metal trash bin...Jimmy took cover behind a parked car.. but they couldn't get close enough to get a good shot...

"I can't get a good shot...Just wasting bullets.."said Jimmy, who took cover behind a parked car..

Jimmy fired three times at him...

Tyriq was leaping up and shooting at him, trying to draw his fire away , so that Carlotta could get a good shot..

"Cover me." said Carlotta as she ran to the trunk of her car and pulled out her riot pump shot gun..

They sent a layer of shots his way....He sprayed the area they were in...She got her riot pump shotgun and loaded it.

She fired at him twice, but did not hit him...She blew the door off the hinges...He winced, He ran to another location and fired at the area where Carlotta was, but she had moved and fired at him from another angle...

The Tactical squad guys engaged him in a wild shoot out... He laughed maniacally...He was loving this in some sick way...

"It's Watkins...He doesn't see us..."said Sirena..

Sirena and Hop were easing up just then...They had parked three blocks away... They had heard the shots..They crouched down within feet of him...

Terry Watson didn't see them...

They both fired at him , striking him multiple times...

The Tactical squad boys hit him multiple times also.. and he fell dead in the street.. His gun still smoking....

 In the confusion, Lisa "Lu Lu"Benson

and Melody Harris managed to sneak out the back of the house and get away...leaving behind packed suitcases of clothing...

Danny Ho ,Sissy, Sharon, Hazel and I managed to arrive on the scene a little while later..

"Terry Watkins Dead huh? Excellent..He had that coming.." said Danny Ho.

who watched as his body was put in a body bag and carted away...The only casualty of the morning.

 "But the two girls got away..."said Carlotta, noticing the open back door.....

 "I've got a Bolo out on Lisa Benson and Melody Harris now."said Tyriq

 ''They escaped on foot during the shootout..They couldn't have gotten far." said Jimmy..

 ''We found the Muscle car they were driving..."said Sirena..

"But it was wiped clean of prints and DNA."said Hop..

 "You all did good work... Angie and Duke have Patty Krenkle in custody....They were in a  gunbattle with Curtis Temple...He got away."said Sissy.

 "We found about two million dollars or more in this house Sissy....They've already moved that merch and been paid..We also found their clothes ,weapons, new burner phones ,three one way plane tickets to Paris, France...It looks like they were already planning to move out of here...You guys foiled that."said a smiling Sharon..

"We found what looks like the new car they were planning to escape in.."said Carlotta..

Looking at the brand spanking new car....They planned to escape in style.

"I checked it...It's stolen." said Jimmy...

 "No surprise there." said Tyriq.

"We've definitely crippled them.We found both of their safehouses, we got their money, passports ,guns and phones."said Hop.

 Hazel looked at me,,She was relieved nobody was hurt..

So was I , but this wasn't over..




IV-

And across town in a condo..

 Lieutenant Tragg had awakened , showered and got dressed...

So had Ruby...

"You sleep well Artie?" she asked..

''Yessss the most peaceful sleep of my life.." said a smiling Lt. Tragg...His suspension was over next week...For once he wasn't wond up about being on TV or solving some crime..He felt strangely free..

Ruby's phone was vibrating...

She picked it up...

'What's up Unc?" she asked..

'Ruby, where you been?  I been tryin to call you for the last  11 or 12 hours.."said Eddie Palmieri..

"I was busy, what's up Unc.?" asked Ruby...

"That nit wit crew you lined up for those two jobs...They killed another security guard during the second job." said Eddie.

''What?" said Ruby incredulously....

"They assured me that they left no clues behind, nothing...Well how bout this, the cops made the entire crew...They killed Terry this morning in a gunbattle..

and they have Patty K. in custody...

She and Terry killed the Security guard. in the first robbery.

That psychopath Curt Temple and Lulu and Melody managed to escape, but the cops got the plane tickets, the money I paid em, the guns used and the car....You gotta get me out of town...before they lead the cops to me." said Eddie..

''What about the Russian?" asked Ruby.

"Our meet was called off until I can meet him someplace safe...I gotta get outta here...I got a feeling Temple and those girls are going to come back here, try to get some more money.."said Eddie.

''Relax...I'll be over...I'll handle everything." said  Ruby.

"Is your Uncle alright?" asked Lt. Tragg...

"He's old....I'm his only next of kin...You know how it is...Look I gotta go...Thanks for a wow, great night...Maybe we can do this again sometime.." said Ruby...

''Yeah doll."said Lt. Tragg, who left her condo, skipping and laughing...

And at headquarters...

 "Ohhhh Papi..I'm so glad today is over." said Carlotta

Carlotta sat in my lap... I held her like I never wanted to let her go.

 "I was worried about you today.."she said.  Angie hadn't told her about how Duke was nearly killed in the shootout..

Duke smiled... "I was worried about me too!" he said.

Hazel held on to Duke tightly...

 "Chocolate Cupcake...Let's go upstairs.."said Jimmy..

''That's a good idea muffin."said Angie softly...


Jimmy and Angie stared at each other lustfully....

 "Come on baby,let's go upstairs.."said Hop.

"I can't think of a better idea." said Sharon.

 "Girl you showed up like the calvary today...I nearly had an erection..."joked Tyriq..

"Liar, you did have an erection....You always have one when I'm around.."said Sirena and they both laughed..

Sissy spoke to Danny Ho before he left..

"We have weakened them....They know we are on to them...They don't know how..We got one in custody and one dead! We have their money, their guns and their passports ..They got nowhere to go...My guess is they're going to lead us right to their shot caller."said Sissy..

"Really?  Any shot caller with any sense would be avoiding them...They're hot."said Danny Ho..

"They're desperate...They're homeless, broke and every swinging shield in the city is looking for them....The noose is tightening around them..."said Sissy..

''And rather quick too! Good Night Sissy." said Danny Ho...

"Good Night Danny." laughed Sissy..

''Is the Boss Lady free now?" asked Sissy's husband, Eddie C.

"The Boss Lady is all yours"said Sissy..

and the two of them shared a sweet kiss in the doorway..

Under a fall moonlight sky...
