Duke Baylor, Angie Belton -Barlow and Sgt. Sam Smith along with a squad of Tactical squad officers surrounded the west side of a sleazy motel....A Motel where Brenda Hudson and her two daughters, 18 year old Tiffany and 22 year old Briana had been staying for a few days after she had taken her daughters with her after a blow up with her estranged husband...Their father..
They came here to relax and get their heads together ,only to go missing for a week and wind up dead in their SUV, miles across the city in a back alley

I was a few yards away in an unmarked car
with Hazel....
Sissy got on her walkie Talkie..
''I've got the warrant...This is your collar Sam...Call it Sergeant!" she said with a smile.
"Let's move now...while everybody is asleep..We are taking the side and going up to his floor Siss, you guys take the front door...We have a unit in the back...Let's move now.."said Sam Smith..
Sam, Duke and Angie and the Tactical squad quickly entered the back exit and headed quickly up the stairs...
Sissy, Tyriq, Carlotta, Jimmy and another squad of Tactical unit officers entered the front and rushed up the stairs...
While Sirena, Hop and the last squad entered the last exit and secured that stairwell..
Our Suspect in the Trunk Murders, Theodore "Teddy" Cook, No Priors, but a stint in the Military, Dishonorably discharged for Drug and Alcohol abuse and the sexual assault of a female sevice member...
We identified him by DNA , he left at the scene and a fingerprint smudge on the SUV the women were found in...
He had Military records which had his DNA and Fingerprints...
He had been working as a building mechanic in this building, when the three women checked in...
Sometime in between check in and when they were found..he had raped all three women and killed them to keep them from telling and drove them in their SUV across town and discarded the bodies there..
We had him on street cam footage leaving the vehicle, which we were able to follow in real time by tracing the GPS in the women's phones, which was still in their purses and triangulating the time with Street,Traffic and Business Cam footage... The wonder of technology...
Duke knocked on the door, Then He, Sam, Jimmy and Tyriq kicked in in and surprised Teddy with guns drawn..
"Surprise Surprise Theodore...It's tank time stupid..."said Sam Smith..
Jimmy pulled him out of bed and handcuffed him...
"Tighty Whities huh? I thought a stud like you was more of a Boxers type of guy." he said.
Tyriq read him his rights and we marched him down the stairs..
Carlotta, Angie, Sissy, Sirena and Hop walked along the side of them...
"Got Him" said Carlotta...
"Yes, now we can concentrate of the Red Ribbon Killer.."said Angie..
"That's the case that has the city in an uproar."said Sissy..
"True, but people were concerned about this one too!"said Sirena..
"I'm just glad we got one of our two killers at least."said Hop.
It was done quickly and quietly....Early in the morning before anyone was up and with no press or fanfare..
We found Micro Cameras and listening devices in the room where the Hudson women stayed..He apparently had been spying on them, watching them undress, shower and what have you and recorded it...
We also uncovered the murder weapon...He was too stupid to get rid of it..
''Sissy, Duke, guys..Thank you so much for helping me out..."said Sam...
"No problem....Your collar....You do the press thing...We'd rather not.." laughed Sissy..

Sam Smith appeared in front of the press hours later with the handcuffed suspect in the Trunk Murders, Theodore "Teddy" Cook.
"Got Your Man Sam?" asked a reporter...
"I didn't do it alone...I'd like to thank Lt. Sissy Van Buren and her elite detectives of the Criminal Investigation Divison who helped with this investigation...Oh and The FBI and ATF...It was a team effort...we worked around the clock."said Sam Smith..
Lt. Tragg was livid...
"He purposely made me look like a fool ,dropping that hint about John Toilet..He knew it was Cook all along.. They didn't want me to make the collar.It was half the night before I discovered Toilet is in the joint.." he snorted...
But soon he'd have something else to snort about...for another body was discovered in the river later on that same day...
III-
When we arrived...
They were dragging the body from the water...
FBI agents were securing the perimeter, along with some police...
"I hated to call you Siss, Especially after you guys captured the TRUNK KILLER and all.."said Sharon.
"Gosh, just as things were starting to quiet down.."said a distraught Lt. Danny Ho..
"I know man, I know.."I said..
"This one is a little differemt" said Hazel, looking at the body...
"She resembles you a little bit too chica."said Sissy...
"She's got on a White sheer baby doll but look the panties are different.."said Carlotta.
"A Red Bra." said Angie..
''And Red White and Blue Panties.."said Sirena.
"God Bless America!" said Jimmy..
Hop laughed...This time so did Duke and Tyriq..
"Junior is Crazy."laughed Duke..
"Aint he though?" laughed Tyriq..
"I'd like to know what the hell you guys find funny? A young woman is dead! Strangled..BRUTALLY MURDERED AND YOU FIND SOMETHING FUNNY?" said Lt. Tragg.. He was talking loud so that everybody around,including the press could hear him..
The Press was here and he was putting on a show for them...
"My detectives have been working around the clock for day on end on both of these cases..We just caught the TRUNK KILLER this morning..."said Sissy..
"Unlike you,we caught the right guy."mumbled Jimmy...
"EXCUSE ME BARLOW...DO YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY?" snarled Lt. Tragg..
"NO SIR! I DO NOT!" said Jimmy just as loudly...
A show down between the two had been brewing for a long time...but it wasn't going to be today..
"DETECTIVE BARLOW, you and the others...SEE IF THERE WERE ANY WITNESSES..GET SOME STATEMENTS." said Sissy..
"I'm on it." said Jimmy, who realized that Sissy was protecting him from Lt. Tragg's wrath..
"These people aren't going to tell us anything new...This body was put in the water way upstream" said Hop.
"You never know...we might get lucky."said Sirena..Even though she pretty much knew her partner was right..
"Luck is something we haven't had much of with this case." said Carlotta.
Jimmy, Hop, Sirena and Carlotta took statements from people who had seen the body floating..
"I hope this isn't a copycat..."said Duke..
Angie peered at the Bra and Panties..
"No...these were all purchased from Lady Chatterlies Lover, Panties and Bras for the Discriminating woman. I recognize the style..." she said.
"Maybe they were out of Lime Green."said Tyriq.
Angie smiled and looked at Tyriq...
"You've been hanging around my husband too long Rico!" she said..
"I think our boy just changed up, maybe to throw us all off his trail...The Red Ribbon is tied the exact same way...A copycat wouldn't know that..."said Danny Ho..
"IT'S BEEN HOW MANY DAYS NOW AND YOU GUYS HAVE NOTHING...NOT EVEN A SUSPECT." he bellowed for all to hear..
Sissy ignored him..
"Hazel, release the body.." she said.
''Okay guys pack her up."said Hazel..
And so yet another body was carted away...
''Dr. Baylor I want a full autopsy done ASAP and I want that report on my desk in the morning."he said..
"For what? This is not your case."said Hazel, who walked away defiantly...
''Sissy....Is this number four?" asked the press..
Sissy sighed..
"I'm afraid it is..Now that the Trunk Killer has been captured, we ae turning our full attention to capturing this person.." she said..
With that, Sissy,Lt. Danny Ho, Tyriq, Carlotta, Jimmy,Sirena ,Hop,Duke Angie and Sharon
As well as Federal Agents and Cops all cleared out..
Hazel and her people had long since gone..
And the press left...They didn't want to hear anything Lt. Tragg had to say...
Once again, he was the last man at the scene...
''Wait, I have some insight on this case." he said..
But nobody stayed around to hear his statement, they all left....
He stood there livid!
IV-
Nightfall came..
Because we had been working around the clock...All of us had packed some bags and were staying in the rooms upstairs in our new headquarters...
Sissy had given everyone the night off..
She and her husband, Eddie C.
and Carlotta and I and Sharon were the only ones up...
"I've got a feeling about who is doing this..I'm going to look into it tomorrow."said Carlotta.
"I hope whatever your hunch is, it's right...I want this business wrapped up.."I said.
''Just so we don't have to see Lt. Tragg for awhile.."said Sharon...
