HOURS BEFORE DURING THE LAST HEARINGS-

 Attorney Jessica Sanchez-Burrows of the Innocence Project presented the last two defendents...The Two men , who brought the case before her..

One was African -American and the other were White... They were the ones the entire hearings was based on..

AFTER THE HEARINGS WERE OVER

"My usual...Fried eggs, over hard, some spuds ,sausages and coffee." he said.

His food came up and he ate.....Sulking....

He couldn't help but stare at Jasmine Coley, a brilliant attorney...She had been a great ADA..

 He couldn't for the life of him understand the attraction... Dabnis was an egocentric, loudmouth braggart he thought...

He understood for instance

 Attorney Olivia Bennett-Alexander's attraction to Donnie Ray Alexander..

 He was a tough, Ex-Homicide Detective, He dressed impeccable, He was also a musician on the side..He had a coolness and smoothness about him that a lot of women found attractive...And Olivia is a very beautiful woman, He couldn't take that from her...He understood their connection completely..

 And her smart mouthed Niece, Beverly....She is a beautiful woman...He couldn't take that from her either, Hell she was sexy as hell, when she's not talking, he thought...

 Her husband, Nelson..A very nice mannerable fellow , who seemed to have a calming effect on her that no one else had...He understood that...

 And Vettie...Yvette Jones, sexy, gorgeous woman..Intelligent Attorney in her own right...

Attracted to Gary Lockwood, Ex  Detective, Investigator for the D.A.'s Office..Had those pretty green eyes that made more than one woman's panties just melt off of them...He understood that...

 But when he looked at Dabnis...With that insane name...that big forehead and those coke bottle glasses all he could see was a grown up Steve Urkel...He just didn't get it..
And his personality or lack of one stunned him too... The way he figured...He must be packing like a mule in his pants to snag a girl like Jasmine..

Smart, Intelligent...Very Nice Looking and capable attorney....Who in his mind could do much better..

What he didn't know was that Dabnis was indeed packing like a mule in his pants, but more than that..He was kind, considerate and caring when around Jasmine..He'd do anything for her and had always been her go to guy...Her rescuer, even before they started sleeping together...She could always talk to him even in the worst of times.. He dressed immaculately, had excellent manners and most important..He loved him some Jasmine  Denise Jenkins...wayyy before they started sleeping together and seeing each other romantically...She kind of knew that years ago...Just never acted on it....

 "I imagine they are all asleep ...at any rate...They aren't here....We aren't doing anything special ,just having breakfast....Me and my hubby."said Jazzy, on edge that Lt. Tragg and her husband , who despised each other would get into it and spoil a perfect mood..

Surprisingly, Dabnis said nothing...didn't even acknowledge Lt. Tragg's presence...

"I'm going up and pay the tab babes...Then we can leave ."said Dabnis, who didn't feel like getting into  it with Lt. Tragg...He was in a great mood and did not want to spoil it...

 "Jazzy for the life of me...What do you see in that guy?" asked Lt. Tragg ,once Dabnis was away from hearing range..

 "Let's have this conversation one last time...and I mean one last time...THAT IS MY HUSBAND...I Obviously saw something in him that YOU DID NOT...Assuming you are a heterosexual male...YOU PROBABLY COULD NOT SEE WHAT I SEE IN HIM...THAT'S MY HUSBAND...DON'T ASK ME THIS AGAIN!" said Jasmine sternly.....

 "Welllll lahhhh de dah.."said Lt. Tragg, who was off put somewhat by Jasmine's tone..

Dabnis returned...

"You ready to leave babe?" he asked...Not even acknowledging Lt. Tragg..

 and kissed him again as they held hands and walked out..

 "Guess she told you...Now Artie...I mean it.. Leave them alone..." said Sam Mother..

 He ignored Sam Mother completely..

Within a few minutes..Olivia Bennett-Alexander, her husband, Donnie Ray Alexander, Her niece Beverly West and her husband, Nelson East and Associate Attorney, Josie Boyd and her boyfriend, Paris walked in and sat down..

''Well Look who it is...The Fab Five" he said.

They ignored him completely and began giving their orders to a waitress..

 "I'm starving...I think I'm going for Pancakes and Sausage.."said Olivia..

 "Me too."said Donnie Ray...

 "I want the waffle special with scrambled eggs.."said Beverly...

 "Sounds like a winner..I'll have what she's having" said Nelson..

 "Pancakes for me.." said Josie..

"Fried eggs, hard, Hash Browns and sausage.." said Paris..

"Coffee for the whole table.."said Donnie Ray...

 "Comin Up guys...Ohhhhhh look who it is...More stragglers"said Sam Mother, glad to see his regulars again..

Keith Jones, Bee Bee Evans, Sofia Garcia ,Kahlil Ahmed and Jade Lee all came in...They waved at Olivia, Beverly and Company and began giving their orders to a waitress.

 ''Pancakes for me.."said Keith Jones..

 "Me too!" said Bee Bee..

 "Same here."said Sofia..

 "The Waffle Special for me.." said Kahlil...

"I'll have Waffles too."said Jade..

"Oh Look, The Jones kids...Where is your Fearless Leader?" he asked..  Like Olivia's table, they ignored him..They were busy laughing and talking amongst themselves...It was as if he wasn't there..Nobody wanted to get into a heated hanrange with him...

As it turned out, Yvette, Gary, Jessica and Chip were right behind them....

"Heyyy Everybody." said Yvette, who was just coming in... " Sam, Steak and eggs for me..A Chedder Omelette.." said Yvette who waived to Olivia, Beverly and her crew and waived to her five Associates..

"Same for me Sam..Steak well done and an Omelette"said Gary.

"Pancakes and Sausages Sam! and Coffee.." said Jessica, who smiled and waived to everybody...

"Pancakes and Sausage for me too Sam and Hash Browns and Coffee." said Chip...

"The guys in this group are soooo whipped...They order whatever the ladies are having.." said Lt. Tragg shaking his head..

"There aren't that many different things to order for breakfast Artie..." said Sam Mother.

 "Comin Up guys.."said Sam..Happy to see them.

''Sooooooooooooooooo how did you guys enjoy Atlantic City? or Was it Margate?? Think I didn't know huh?  I know Karen had you guys stashed In South Jersey, near the beach working on that big case..Which is why you weren't around for weeks...I'm a pretty darn good detective...You have to wake up pretty early in the morning to put something by me..Pretty early!" he chuckled...

Everyone looked at him like he was crazy and then went back to ignoring him and chowing down...

Olivia was at the counter, paying for our meals with her company credit card..

"Margate? , A.C. ?? What is he talking about Sam?  We weren't in Jersey, We were right downtown at Penns Landing ,working with Karen Page in her office..." said Olivia..

"I don't know Livy...He just has to have something to say.."sighed Sam Mother.

"Did he get smacked again?" she asked..

Sam Mother laughed..

"No . but he needs to be.." he said.

And the both of them laughed..
