This Year's Honorees

It was Early in the morning at Gary Lockwood's house......

His bed could be heard squeaking out of control, his headboard slamming hard against the wall and kissing and moaning coming from his bedroom window...

"Ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu, ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh baby, ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu    you are just showing off in this bed...ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu..." came the voice of Attorney Yvette Jones...

"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh girlllllllllllllllllll you are driving me insane..." Gary moaned...Yvette was the only girl he could think of that made him feel better with each time they made love....or was that his imagination?? He wasn't sure...He didn't care!!!!

What followed was slow , tender lovemaking... SIX TO SEVEN HOURS of it..

"Ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu Garyyyyyyyyyyyyyy....Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my goddddddddd!" she moaned as she came for the third or fourth time that night...She couldn't believe this man...He was bringing feelings out in her that she was fighting to keep to herself...

''UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM   Yvetttttttttttttttttte....ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!" he moaned..

"I LOVE YOU GARY!" Yvette whispered loudly...

"I LOVE YOU TOOO!" he shouted...and began cumming.....

"OH MY!" she said, smiling...startled...

Gary was cumming like a gusher...and shaking, trembling...his legs bouncing....

Yvette was cumming too..Laughing joyously...tears just flowing down her face, her head turning from side to side..her left leg shaking out of control....

Gary smiled serenely..He watched Yvette get up, gather her things and wander into his shower....

She really liked Gary's house...She was surprisingly very comfortable here...She thought while she showered...

"I'm going to like being his girlfriend.."

After showering and lotioning down...Yvette began to get dressed...

''Big Day for you huh?" said Gary as he watched her get dressed and style her hair..

''Yes...Me and my four young charges got picked as this years SUPER LAWYERS....It's an honor that only a few attorneys get in a lifetime..I never expected to get it...and for those four to get it so early in their careers...That's incredible."said Yvette..

"I've heard of that award...My uh boss, Rockland Cambridge

 won it two years ago....and your girls, Olivia and Beverly and Beverly's Husband, Nelson

won it last year..." said Gary...

"You really do keep up on everything...Yes they did...I was so proud of Livy and Bev...I told everybody that I knew them both..That I was Olivia's room-mate in college...and that I remember when Beverly was in high school, coming to visit me and her auntie..Now here I am getting it...I can't believe it..."said Yvette...

"You excited doll?" asked Gary..."I'm excited for you.." he said and pulled her to him and kissed her passionately...

"Ummmmm damn...I am excited.." he moaned..Yvette's lips were as soft as melting butter, he mused...He never got tired of simply kissing her...

Yvette felt the same way about Gary, he really knew how to kiss a woman....She giggled and slowly eased out of his embrace...

''Stoppppppppppp , you're smudging my lipstick...I believe you're getting excited...sexually excited!!.." she laughed..and slipped her night shirt on....Her sitting around in her panties and bra was too much for him...but her night shirt wasn't much better...It only came to her thighs...

"This will calm down those hormones of yours.." she said and laughed..

"I'm both.." he laughed...He was...but he knew she had to get ready.....

"Well stop kissing me like that...before we wind up back in bed...I don't want to be late.." she said.

Gary smiled..

Within a half an hour...Yvette was fully dressed...Her hair was done and she had a new Black Polka dot mini skirt that accentuated her every curve she purchased for just such an occassion...and showed off her shapely legs....She had matching stilletto heels and a matching pocketbook.. The woman could dress and she was hot...

Gary's eyes nearly popped out of his head...

"LAWDDDDDDDD!" he exclaimed..

Yvette smiled..

"I take it you like..." said Yvette, giggling like a school girl..

"Like it? I love it" said Gary...

"I wish you could come....but Rockland's going to be there and..." said Yvette..

''Yeah, Yeah, Yeah I know.."said Gary, who watched as Yvette packed her things...and gathered up her clothes...She put them all neatly in the trunk of her car.....and pouted..

''Don't be sad....After it's over...Meet me at my place...Bring a change of clothes...We'll celebrate...Just you and me..My treat...We'll go away for the weekend.."she said with a smile..

Gary smiled..

"Okay!" he said.

She kissed him softly...

"I Love you" she whispered..

"Love you too girl.." he said back.

Yvette met her team of Keith Jones, Beatrice "Bee Bee" Evans, Sofia Garcia , Khalil Ahmed  and investigator Jade Lee in the lobby of the building that housed the offices of Prominent Attorney William ''Slim" Johnson of Johnson /Colgate /Young and associates...

 "Ouuu You guys look great." she said..

 "Thank You Ms. Yvette.."said Keith Jones, who was checking her out...God she was fine ,he thought to himself..

 "Ms. Yvette, you look incredible.." said his girlfriend, Beatrice "Bee Bee" Evans ,who herself had on a splendid new form fitting dress for the occassion that she had practically had to peel Keith off of her while she was getting dressed this morning..

 "YESSSSS, you're always on point.." said Sofia Garcia, who like Bee Bee, had bought a new outfit for the occassion...and looked sensational as well..

 ''We all clean up well." said Khalil Ahmed...who rounded out this year's honorees...He was wearing a new tailored suit...

"Look at me with all these well dressed Attorneys.."said Investigator Jade Lee...

"Well Guys let's head for the elevators...This is great stuff for all of our resume's and for you four to be getting this recognition so early in your careers is incredible....I knew you four were special from day one.."said Yvette...who still couldn't believe she herself was getting this award...

 ''Well Here are this years honorees now..."said a jubilant Mr. McCluskey..The only one of the partners from their firm who had bothered to come to their ceremony....They were Five of Six employees of their firm to have ever won this award....The only other winner was Mr. McCluskey himself, who won it ten years ago...He was clearly happy and proud of them...

Assistant District Attorney Rockland Cambridge ,who won the award two years ago was there ,along with last years winners,

Attorney Olivia Bennett-Alexander, and her niece,

"Heyyyy Vettie, Hey Guys!" said Olivia..

Attorney Beverly West-East

"Ms. Yvette, Welcome to the club..."said Beverly.
 and her husband,

Attorney Nelson East...

"Hey folks..Congratulations...." he said..

Olivia's husband and investigator, Donnie Ray Alexander was there..

''Hey Guys..." he said...

And their para-legal Ms. Josie Boyd...Who hoped to one day be an Attorney herself and win such a coveted award...

"Hey Ms. Yvette, hey guys.." she said..

"Oh My God....I'm gonna cry.." said Yvette Jones...

"No crying girl...This is a happy occassion...Look how far we've come...Two Black girls in a dorm studying to be lawyers and look at us now..At the top of our profession.."said Olivia, who hugged Yvette..

"Olivia, that dress is fire girl..."said Yvette..

"Donnie Ray loves it..But so is yours..."said Olivia..

" I just know Donnie Ray does love it....You gonna get in trouble tonight when he gets you home..." laughed Yvette...

"He's already told me..Beverly told me the same thing..."laughed Olivia...

"Bev, I love your hair.."said Bee Bee..

''Thank you Bee Be,..Ms. Bernadette slid me in for an appointment yesterday...Somebody cancelled..That dress is sharp....You better watch out...Keith is gonna take you home and make a baby.."laughed Beverly..

"Not that he hasn't tried....He wants it constantly..."laughed Bee Bee..

"Girlfriend, they all do...We spoil them.."laughed Beverly...

 ''This is all so exciting...I wasn't even dreaming about this award...Not yet..."said Sofia Garcia.

 "I'm so Happy for you all.."said Josie..

"Me too! This is unbelievable.." said Jade Lee.

Keith Jones, Nelson East and Khalil Ahmed

Stood around talking and drinking champagne...

While Donnie Ray stood talking and drinking Champagne with a surprise guest...Gary Lockwood, Investigator for the D.A.'s office..

 ''Mannn you like to live dangerously....Your boss is here.."said Donnie Ray.

''Yeah,I know..It's a Saturday...I'm not at work..Why can't I be here?" joked Gary...

Rockland spied Gary Lockwood, his investigator..

What is he doing here? Today is his day off?  Ahhhhhhh,He's trying to get next to Jade Lee...

That old hound dog.. he mused...

Nothing could have been further from the truth...

Rockland couldn't take his eyes off Yvette Jones, his ex-girlfriend... god she was a sexy woman, he mused...Those shapely legs, that body, and dressed to the nines... Three years younger than him...He thought about her often...

IV-

''And now...I present the SUPER LAWYERS PLAQUES TO THIS YEAR'S WINNERS....Yvette Jones, Keith Jones, Beatrice Evans, Sofia Garcia and Khalil Ahmed..."said Slim Johnson, who was happy that Lawyers of color were finally getting this award...Staring with Rockland, he was happy to add Olivia, Beverly,Nelson, Yvette, Keith,Bee Bee, Sofia and Khalil...to the list of award winners.

There was resounding applause......

"Presenting the Plaques will be last years winners....Mrs. Olivia Bennett-Alexander, Mrs. Beverly West -East and Mr. Nelson East... Slim Johnson remembered that he had championed Olivia and Beverly getting the award last year as well as Nelson East..The three of them had done some amazing work in the field of Civil Rights and Women's rights .

Olivia presented the plaque to her former room-mate and good friend, Yvette Jones.

"Couldn't be given to a better person...."said Olivia..hugging and kissing her good friend and former law school room-mate.

''Awww Thank you girl.."said Yvette, now gushing with tears as she received her plaque...

Beverly presented a plaque to both Beatrice "Bee Bee" Evans ..

"Love you sorors.." she said to Bee Bee..She, Bee and Sofia were members of Delta Sigma Theta, While her Aunt Olivia and Ms. Yvette were both members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.

"Love you too." said Bee Bee... and Sofia Garcia..

"Love you too Beverly.." said Sofia.

And Nelson presented plaques to Keith Jones and Khalil Ahmed..

"My Boyz..."said Nelson..

''It's all good babe.."said Keith Jones..

"Mom would be proud.." said Khalil..

Rockland shook the hands of Keith Jones and Khalil Ahmed.."Congratulations Gentlemen" he said.

"Thank You Sir." said Keith...

"Thank you sir..." said Khalil...

 He kissed both Bee Bee and Sofia on the cheek...

''Ladies....Ladies...Congratulations..." said Rockland..

"Ouuuu thank you sir.."gushed Bee Bee....Who prior to today thought that Rockland despised her...
Her wearing this beautiful white mini skirt that accentuated her nice shape and her bountiful cleavage went a long way in making a man forget silly legal battles..

"Thank You sirrrrr..."said Sofia...

He smiled when he got to Yvette....

''Come here youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.." he said to Yvette, softly grabbing her around the waist and was trying to pull her to him...His hand a little too close to her rear end,Something that was embarrassing to her and that she felt was inappropriate...

He attempted to kiss Yvette in the lips, but she turned her head..

"Uh Uh...Uh Uh Rockland...I told you before, We are past that...Way past that...Now be nice..." said Yvette...who  smiled  and turned her cheek toward him to kiss...

Visibly stung...He released his grasp of her..He smiled weakly and didn't kiss her at all or say congratulations...He simply walked away...and left..

With him gone Gary walked up to her..

"Congratulations Baby!" he said.

"Gary you're crazy...Coming here..With Rockland here..."she said and shook her head and laughed..

"I told you I don't care...I love you and I don't care if he finds out..."said Gary...

Yvette teared up. She pulled Gary to her and kissed him passionately for a few minutes...

"I love you too!" she whispered in his ears before breaking the embrace...

''WOW!" was all Gary could muster..He was dazed...

Olivia had witnessed the kiss...She whispered in Yvette's ear...

"I'm not the only one who is going to be in trouble when they get home...After a kiss like that...We might not see you the rest of the weekend.." she giggled..

Yvette smiled..

"No, you just might not!" she laughed..

Both women laughed.....

Out on the street, an angry Rockland Cambridge kicked over two trash cans and kicked the door of his own car..A uniformed policeman ran up to him..

"HEYYYYYYYYY WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?" asked the cop..

Rockland pulled out his I.D.

"I'm The Assistant District Attorney..Now run along!" he said.

"ADA or not...You kick over another trash can and I'll RUN YOU IN!!!"said The cop...

Furious..Rockland got in his car and sped off!!!




V-

Upstairs..."Slim" Coltrane looked confused..

"I wanted to take a group photo with all of the previous winners and this year's winners...Where is Rockland?" he asked..

"He left a few minutes ago."said Donnie Ray...

"He left...He must have forgotten about the photo...He left his cake too...Oh well, no need in letting a good piece of strawberry shortcake go to waste.."said Mr. McClusky, who took his fork and the plate of cake and sat down at his table..

''Wonder why Rockland left?....He knew the ceremony wasn't over yet?"mused Olivia..who hadn't witnessed the little mini drama between Rockland and Yvette...

"He didn't come to Beverly and My ceremony last year...He was still mad at us for beating him in court twice.."laughed Olivia..."He did send us roses  later on,after he got over it!" she added...

Yvette just smiled ,She knew why he'd left..and she whispered to Gary...

"Rockland tried to kiss me...A congratulatory kiss.." she said.

"Yeah, he uh kissed Bee Bee and Sofia.." said Gary..

"He kissed them both on the cheek..He wanted to kiss me in the lips...and he had his hand on my butt..I wouldn't let him...So he stormed out like a petulant child..That man needs help..He is sooo petty..." said Yvette...

Gary laughed..

"No doubt!...Imagine if he'd of come back in and saw you and me kissing..? He of blown a gasket!" Gary  laughed..

"Well Good for him...Plus, he's got a woman!!! He needs for me to be alone, so he can have me too! I suppose to sooth his ego!.. Men!" said Yvette...

"Well ,I've got a woman!"said Gary, hugging Yvette..

''And I've got a man.."said Yvette,laying her head on Gary's chest..

The festivities continued..both at the law firm

and later at Gary's house also...

 ''Ummmmmm....I love you so much Gary.." said Yvette..

"I love you too girl.." said Gary...

They enjoyed a nice soft kiss.......in his bedroom....They weren't going anywhere tonight...

And they both knew that.......as they got out of their clothes and kissed naked in the middle of the floor..

"Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Yvettttttttttttttttee...ummmmmmmmmmmpph"he moaned..

"Ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu Garrrry...." she cooed...

 ''Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.."he gasped as they sat on the side of his bed and he entered her slowly...softly...

"Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Gary.." she cooed..

Never had he felt so good!

One of these days they would truly spend a night out side of the bedroom....but not this night...
